As I get closer to the front room I hear the sounds of someone moving about, 'at least someone’s here'. " Hey mom, dad is there anything to eat from yesterday i'm starv... eh".

I blanked out sitting on one of the makeshift chairs was not my mother or father but a beautiful tall pale blue coloured woman who instantly perks up at the sight of me.

"Oh you’re up already that's good I can’t wait to get started we don't need to bother with formalities I know all about you. Horick, 18 years old only son of Bert and Susanna Korp, Lived in isolation from the world and have been taught to be a hunter even since you were able to understand and can even make your own amazing bows. During her speech I managed to snap out of my daze but got sent right into another trying to understand how she knows I exist let alone so much about me but I managed to grab a hold of the conversation "Just give me a second to get my head around this, First, who are you? Second how do you know about me? and finally what do you want?"

She hesitated for a few seconds before responding "Ah sorry I got so caught up in meeting you I forgot to explain.

I made a dash to the door and opened it I don't care where I went, I just needed to leave. As soon as I opened the door I froze. What was on the other side wasn't a small grassy field but a frozen wasteland on the top of a mountain there was no where to go to get away from this. I heard Skaði moving behind me as I turn to look at her.

"Time is running out and while I wish I could have talked to you more we can't so instead I'll give you a quick run down, you’re going to be in a different world however not as a human or another living being. I decided you would be best suited to be a bow I could make you an animal but the chances of you integrating with people and not being killed was low. But I didn't remove all your options, you get to make yourself through many different bow making techniques or bow-smithing as it’s referred to in that world. You'll also be able to choose the materials you can even have a spirit form although until you get stronger it will have to stay in animal form but you can still semi interact with the world in the spirit form and the final thing is you can get abilities that you can level up and improve, that's all our time up if you do something significant I may be able to talk with you again but until then goodbye. And with that i went from being in a replica of my home to a completely new area.
