It was around midnight when I heard the police sirens going off in the distance. No one really thinks much when you see something like that but on that night maybe if I had paid extra attention then I wouldn't be bleeding out in the back of some alleyway. Yea I'm dead, went to take a short cut because I was late to getting home and bumped in to a drug junkie. Everything was turning white and then I heard a voice asking me if I wanted to live. "YES I WANT TO LIVE!" I shouted or I at least think I did. I died a miserable death and I can't stand that.
The voice in a whisper then spoke "I will let you live again but you will be mine to command when you are reborn." then everything turned white.
As I opened my eyes again I saw people around me just as confused as me. I was standing in a red circle with 4 other people and on the outside of it was someone who looked like the great wizards you seen in fantasies and several priests beside him. That’s when they started walking towards us and the wizard dude spoke.
"Welcome travelers, you must be wondering where you are. Right now you are in the world of Asprith and as it pain's me to say it you will not be able to go home anytime soon. The reason you were called here is because we are in need of heroes who can help us save our dying kingdom of Physis."
I look around and it seems these people are buying what he has to say but something seems wrong to me. As I get ready to speak someone else jumps ahead of me, which is of little concern to me since I really just want to see how this plays out. What surprise's me though is that it's a small girl who speaks first.
" So what your saying is that you kidnapped us from our world and brought us to this one to help save your kingdom because the people who run it can't do it correctly."
The wizard cringes for a second before replying "What we need you for is not as simple as you might think, we need your help defeating beast's that take almost our whole army to fight just one. As things stand currently we will not be able to win this war that has been going on for many years. That is why we summoned people from another world which can save our own. Here in a few minutes ill will give you an accessory that will display the current status of your body. In legends of old it always told of people coming from other worlds as having monstrous strength, which is why we summoned you. If you wish to go back to your world help us, since the only way back is through the portal's that the beast's ruler can create."

The small girl thought for a minute before talking "then hand me one of those accessories and lets get this over with, if I'm gone for to long my family will think I'm dead. Also just so we are clear I will take order's from no one as I will just be trying to head home." she slowly walked up to him waiting for what she wanted.
"Very well, I'm glad we are on the same page finally." he said as he grabbed a case from one of the priests near by and opened up to show bracelets, earrings, and regular rings. "Pick which ever one you want. Just put it on and after everyone does that we can continue with how to use them."
Everyone went up one by one to grab one except for me, I don’t know why but I just felt like it was bad to put one on. Then my head started throbbing at the thought of just standing her so I got in line with the rest and picked up a white bracelet with a small black sword etched in to the side. When I put it on, it felt like it clamped down on my wrist so hard it would break it. This is probably one of the reasons I felt I didn't want to wear it, oh well all I can do is listen to what the wizard has to say next before I plan what I want to do.
