Magnea was an amazing planet full of mysteries and legends, most of which were true. Many different races called the
planet home, and at over three times the size of the planet known as Earth there were countless wonders to behold.
With eleven known continents and several islands larger than the state of Texas, the political situation on Magnea was
ever changing and always complicated. The known continents in order of size were: Gania where our story begins, all
sentient races have claimed territory here, Shein the continent of monsters, Krafst the continent of dragons, Journ the
home of the calamity that left the entire continent covered in ruins and desert, Mansk home to the orc strongholds and
immense clouds forests, Urrevi known as the human continent, they have complete control over Urrevi, Donnar a place
completely controlled by an elder lich and his horde of the undead, Curak home to the elves and their enchanted forests
as well as the dwarves and their ancient mountains, Adhal a strange land that does not allow for magic to exist, Warsh
the land of demons, perhaps the only race more adept at warfare than the humans, and finally Numund a recently
discovered continent home to the beastkin. Although the continents were vast, the major cities were all connected with
Gates that led to areas both outside and inside the cities, which had been put into place by the Maijik Order, an
extremely gifted group of wizards that allowed every race and nationality into their Order provided that they have the
necessary skill. In their foresight, no more than 50 people every hour may use the gates to travel inside a specific city at
a time so as to prevent using the gates for military gain but one thousand people every hour can travel to the gates
located outside of a city. As for the so-called Gods that governed the planet, while John might know that the local
members of the Pantheon are all just surrogates for God, even the members themselves did not know that, and the
people of Magnea certainly had no idea that their beloved Gods and Goddesses were nothing but creations put in place
to babysit them. All of the Gods of the Pantheon had differing personalities and more often than not they found
themselves in direct competition with their brothers and sisters as they vied for power and control. Now while they
couldn’t directly interfere with the mortals below, they could grant them blessings to receive a portion of their powers.
Many of these blessed people went on to become heroes or villains, while others became renowned craftsmen or
alchemists. All nations worshipped these gods as their own, but each nation and people had their own specific set of
beliefs and used the name of these gods for their own gains. The humans were the most populous of the races but also
the shortest lived, and had no particular specialties that they were able to call their own other than the ability to wage war
in an effort for more slaves to fuel their empires. Opposing the humans was an alliance of elves, beastmen, and

dwarves. The elves were known well for their grace and beauty as well as their prodigious talents in magic that allowed
them to live much longer than the other mortals populating the planet but in turn their birth rates have become drastically
lower. The dwarves were known as the richest people on Magnea for their deep, vast mines and massive metal works
that some said could rival the Gods themselves. The Beastmen were not known as magically talented but were more
than able to make up for it due to the sheer power of their physical abilities, as well as their abilities to befriend the
various beasts of the world. Standing alone on their continent of Warsh the demons stood strong and proud, turning
away all attempts to invade their home with ease as they viewed the entire world with contempt, the only race that they
begrudgingly respected were the dragons who called the fiery plains of Krafst their home. It was common knowledge
that no one was to anger a dragon, and certainly no one should be dumb enough to try and fight one. Familial bonds ran
deep to dragons, and as history had proven many times they had no problems levelling entire cities in retaliation for
offensives most would deem as minor.
On the vast continent of Gania our story resumes as a large castle comes into view, the light, sand-colored bricks
bathed in the golden light of the early morning Sun rising to the east. Inside the largest chamber of the castle various
paintings and emerald tapestries covered the stone walls. But right now, no one would be able to admire their beauty as
screams of pain brought worry to all inside of the room. Staphene had her raven hair plastered to her forehead with
sweat and her normally beautiful smile was instead a grimace of pain etched onto her face. Gawain, her husband, paced
back and forth across the pelt lined floor, worry clear upon his face as his stoic countenance was betrayed by furrowed
brows and his long golden, brown hair not covering the anxiousness clear in his crystal, blue eyes. He watched as his
healer kept Staphene calm and helped her to bring their child into the world. They had been trying for a child for nigh on
twenty-five years now, and finally their prayers had been answered. Gawain was not worried about the effects of child
birth after the delivery, healing magic made for a quick fix and some scarring would be the worst his wife would receive.
But during delivery was an entirely different matter as any healing magic applied would only cause more harm to both
Staphene and the baby. “Push!” yelled Jamine the healer, with a final scream of pain and effort Staphene cried out and
finally passed out from the pain. Jamine arose holding a small figure in her arms worry clear on her face, she quickly
cast healing magic on Staphene and let her wake up naturally so as not to disturb her. No, the Lady was not the cause of
her worries, she would be fine as she could visibly see the magic had already taken effect. Instead it was the silent baby
staring directly at her as if it knew what was going on in this situation. “My Lord, your wife is healthy and whole as is your
son, but he seems strange. He hasn’t cried once.” She said confusion clear in her voice as she handed him to his father.
As if on cue the child suddenly started to wail as a newborn should. “Hah, perhaps he just had to see someone as ugly
as I am before he would cry,” said Gawain, pure joy and relief clear in his eyes. “Thank you for your services Jamine,
once again you have help our family immensely, speak to Hurwen before you leave he will have your payment for you,
and feel free to have a meal before your trip home.” He continued as he sat down next to his wife. “Thank you, Lord
Verdun, I shall” replied Jamine with a curtsy and quietly left the room. “Welcome to Magnea, Willum” Gawain softly said
has he rocked his newborn son to sleep
POV: Willum
Christ that was disgusting! Why couldn’t that asshole of a God just have me wake up inside this body. And speaking of
this body, why the hell am I so weak? I guess even if I’m super powerful, a baby is still just a baby. I wonder who this
lady holding me is, she shouldn’t be my mother if she already walking around. But I wouldn’t mind getting to know her
when I’m older because dat ass. “My lord, your wife is healthy and whole as is your son, but he seems strange. He
hasn’t cried once.” The sexy lady spoke. Oh shit I’m a baby I’d better act like it! “Waaaah waaaahh” he cried. I guess the
handsome man holding me is my father, and obviously the beautiful woman asleep covered in sweat would be my
mother geez is everyone in this world just naturally good looking? “Welcome to Magnea, Willum” my father said softly.
Willum huh? I like the sound of that. Thought the newly born Willum as his eyes suddenly became to heavy for him to
handle and he drifted off to what would be an interesting dreamscape.
