Its been 7 years since the Anuj has become an Awakened, and since then a lot has changed.

One say when Anuj was around 5 and half, around 3 after awakening, he had casually asked what the average timeframe for each stage was.

His parents thinking that he was feeling lack of progress, gushed and told him something he was so surprise he jumped out of his skin.

They said, on an average, a normal person, awakened, took 3 to 4 months at least to complete stage one, the sensing of Qi.

At first Anuj thought that they focused on honing the senses, then he learned one truth, no they spent that much time just to feel that it was there, something he had done in the in a few minutes of getting the manual.

Then his parents, thinking that he was dismayed by the time needed, had said something else.

That most children never completed the first 2 stages before turning 8, and start cultivating before 12, as in taking 4 years to form a complete Internal Sphere.

The final step was simple as sticking a paper with glue for anyone who completed the Runic Circuit, so that barely took effort.

But the simple fact that his hours of gain were equal to most people’s months and years, it was a mind-bending thing, something he controlled, he could not be arrogant.

One other thought appeared in his mind, both his friends, they to had a similar speed to his, right?

Somewhat slower, but still.

He had then dismissed another thought, one that believed he should, ask, know, why?

But he dismissed it instantly.

2-3 years together had him giving them a large amount of trust.

So, what he had done, is mention about asking their parents about average time.

Something they had done, but never spoken of.

And today he would be doing something, he had been training 7 years, no they had been training 7 years.

Today they will be Anchoring their Dantian.

Ones thy have made just yesterday.

Well, they did work on them for about 7-8 days.

Refining their designs.

Apparently, until you reach specific level of skill in Manipulation, you don’t get certain blueprints.

Like in a game, kind of, that gives blueprint at basic, novice, advance, master etc masteries.

Not really a problem for him, but it can be very sanding for others.

Shrugging mentally, he looked forward at the face of companions, his brother, and sister, as they felt to him.

Damo standing with his hands in his pants, his purple shiny hair moving around without wind, Anuj knew for a fact that it was not due to some ghost or anything, but simply because Damo was using his Qi Control to move his hair constantly, to train his mental muscles.

And he knew this too because of a simple fact his blue hair was doing a similar dance of their own.

Similarly in khaki Pants and grey T-Shirt stood Soph, similar to them both her Hair was also in on a tune of its own.

Cut in a Bob cut style, it waved and flowed in the nonexistent wind.

All of our eyes were twinkling.

“Ok Children, do not fumble, do not hurry, this is not a race, and be care in anchoring.”

We all nodded, and the probed our body for the best location we had learn for anchoring in our individual studies.

Center of chest and abdomen, the center point for the Qi Veins of Qi Rotation.

The system of Qi rotation is simple, there are multiple unopened pathways of power inside a human body.

These are metaphysical, and not actually in the body, by still connected to it, such that every pathway that opens is a small increment to the body.

Small increment that add up.

At a basic level the least pathways that anyone can open is eight.

And that’s the minimum, the maximum number is unknown, but its at least 10, Anuj knows, because the village head is a 9 Pathway opening Qi Rotation.

And a Inner Foundation of 4 pillar stage.

A respectable level.

The levels can be seen as growth of a tree.

Th first is the rot, the second level of qi rotation the stem, then all after that the branches of the stem, and the Sub Roots.

As soon as they anchored the Dantians, they opened their eyes and saw 2 pair mirroring their own, so they howled loudly, all three, and then hugged, and jumped around.

They had a feast that night.

And they all danced and partied all night.

The next day the 3 woke up next to a fire pit.

Shaking their heads, they got up and slowly, stealthy followed the path to their hideout.

They sat on their usual spots, Anuj on the edge, with wall at back, Soph and Damo at the center, in meditative position.

Then cultivation began formally for them.

Anuj took deep breaths, long breaths, while focusing on controlling the perceived Qi, something had an expert mastery over, after practicing for around seven years.

He expertly manipulated the energy he was in contact with to gather and then poured it inside his False Dantian, F.D.. and rotated it in it, churning it building momentum, and then after the tenth rotation, he pushed the energy toward his first Qi Vein, the Mind Vein, it was one of the straight forward ones, and he pushed the energy through it, rotating like a drill under his control.

With extreme control and efficiency, it passed through the whole in moments.

Moments, not even lasting half a minute.

Anuj’s body spasmed for a tenth of a second, then returned to normal.

But it was stronger, stronger not in strength, but in all aspects, endurance, stamina agility, etc, by around 10%, even potential.

This was a major difference than most, a difference because of the Advanced core he had made, which compared to the basic one was much, much better,

Say basic one gave 2-3% increase, depending upon the construction quality.

So at most a difference of 5X, or at least one of 3.3X

Somewhat expecting the result, Anuj redirected the energy drill, which was now gaining more momentum, due to the support of the new Qi Vein, this mind vein increases mental flexibility, improves recall, and lot ore, one other aspect of its improvement was its ability to increase Qi control, something that was already immense, so it was like giving Wings to a tiger.

He pointed the Qi Drill at the second Qi Vein, the Base Vein, or as he called it, the Tail Vein, this one ended at the place where tail bone exists, it increases the density, and gives the passive recovery of Qi.

Its said that at Foundation, the Awakened no longer need outside source of Qi, they are by themselves a Constant source of energy.

A very slow creators of it, but creators, nevertheless, how the conservation of energy law is broken, and new energy is created, he has no idea, but from what he had heard, and had been able to gather, its due to the soul, the one entity that makes you, you.

The Practitioners, those with inborn Dantian, the pricks like them, they have the ability to create the same amount of energy at Qi Rotation itself, and with what he understands, an inborn prick would have about the same energy creation capabilities at Qi Rotation Penultimate, as that of a Foundation Penultimate, meaning a whole realm difference, f-ing pricks, silver spoon bas*ords….

(Please forgive Anuj, 7 years of manipulation practice has made him somewhat… shall we say disgusted with those that don’t have to do anything like it.)

Theis Tail vein is more difficult to open then Mind vein, but for Anuj and his prowess, its still easy and fast, and he was done in just under half a minute.

The drill was once again fortified, this time due to the density increase from the Tail Vein support.

Then not stopping there, he went for the Left Arm Vein, this one allows the cultivator to do things like finger movement and influence Qi, but just for the left hand, basically adding an ability of not just controlling Qi with thoughts, to adding movements like finger movements, and gestures to moving qi, reducing difficulty by half, as, by giving simple movement, direction, and all those major points to hand movements, and the complex changes to mind.

Its also harder to completely open, as after 70%, the vein branches out in 2 one goes to the thumb, easily done, but the other divides further into two, and they in two again, that is 4 divisions by the end.

It also means thumb has a broader control ability, as compared to others.

Anuj takes it back, no its not difficult just more time taking.

Thus, he was done in One minute and Half, as the time, it took him open them one by one, he did not want to take any chance especially if it barely meant any time save, after all it was only taking him minutes and seconds to open them.

He then opened the Right hand one too, it barely taking any more time than the left hand one.

Then he retracted the energy to the F. Dantian, and flexed his fingers.

He made some testing movements, flexing, turning, etc.

He was halfway through the Qi Realm, well at least form most it was halfway, 4 veins were that they called middle of realm, especially when most only did 8 vein openings in general.

Then finally satisfied, he focused the energy, he was not done with testing his finger control, but a basic mastery was fine for now, he just needed some extra umph.

Turning to his new target the two leg veins.

Their use was more symbolic, the stabilized the energy, qi, so that it was easier to control. Like smoke and mist, one is more easily disturbed than other.

They were also harder to open, but more due to the fact they grew wider as they continued.

End twice as that of the beginning.

This was the case for both of them, and so they took around 3 minutes and some to be opened, each taking one and half minutes.

At the end of it all, Anuj could with every second fell his control strengthening, his actions smother.

The next vein to open was lung vein, one whe he had to follow vein up till the lungs, filling their surface with energy, holding it there, and following the vein to the nostrils and mouth.

As soon as this vein opened, the energy coating the lungs was connected to it, forming a sucker of qi in addition to the one for air.

This increased the regeneration, passive regen.

Time taken 2 minutes.

Then the Skeletal Vein, it did nothing for the Qi, but it increased the density of bones, and improved the resistance of the body.

This one took 3 minutes due to its length.

Now the prequel was over, it was game time.

He has reached the 8 Vein Qi Rotation stage, and could ascend to Inner foundation, but instead of doing that, something excidingly easy he wanted to do something else, he wanted to reach edge of what was called the Qi Rotation Level, some said 9 some said 10 but the truth was something he was going to find out.

Call it scientific curiosity, or call it belief for why it took him 7 years of refinement to reach this stage.

He was going to do it.
