The soft wind hits my face. The breeze is subtle, yet surprising. I smell salt in the air, seagulls flying in flocks, looking for food. The ocean pounds the distant rocks off the shore, like a never ending assault. The crashing waves are soothing to me. I inhale deeply, and slowly release the air swirling inside me, its calming. I put one foot out in above the ocean. My eyes are closed. I’m about to lean forward and fall when I hear a familiar voice. “Wait!” The mysterious voice cried out. I slowly open my eyes, as if i’m waking up from a coma. The air went cold, and sharp like a razer slicing through me. I turn around slowly, careful not to lose my balance on the slippery rocks. Tears are rolling down this woman’s face. Her red hair glistens in the tender moonlight. “Why?” I retort. She is quiet, only for a moment. The rocks are still clashing in the distance, as if the tension has caused the sea to be irritated. “Because… Ending your life here won’t solve all the issues in the world. No matter what happens, your life is precious, and ending it now wouldn’t do a thing for anyone.” Her words are sting, as if the salt was embedded into her lungs. Right now, life seems pointless. All life has given me is pain, and suffering. “What happened to changing the world for the good?” The words sting. I try everyday to make sure that I am a symbol of hope. Without hope, the world would end up like me. I pushed myself past my limit, more than I could handle.
I inhale again, hoping words would roll into my head, loading my brain with a sort of film, answers for these hard questions i’m being asked. “You aren’t gone, not yet. No matter what that bullshit mentor tells you. I believe there is still a good side to you.” Thunder, and Lightning flash and crackle behind me. The moon is now being overrun by dark storm clouds. The scene instantly went from calming to destructive. “You have to control it, you heard what the sage said, There are two paths for this prophecy, and only you can decide what happens from here.” The woman with the red hair starts vanishing. I know she’s right, but just ending my life would be simpler than letting the world fall to chaos because of me. I blink, and in an instant she is gone. I start crying heavily, the thunder and lighting continue to berate the see with each strike. I sit here for awhile, just letting the wind pelt me, eventually the clouds clear.

I have Schizophrenia, and somehow I was chosen to fulfill a two sided prophecy. I could either bring the world into a time of piece, or bring never ending chaos. My mentor believes I am too far gone to help the world, and has vanished. I am alone with my hallucinations, my thoughts. I fall asleep on the cliff side, and go into a deep sleep. It’s nice and peaceful, making me forget my troubles the other night. I slowly wake up midday, feeling like i’m hungover, I slowly sit up. Man I was really going to kill myself last night. For once my hallucinations saved me. I look up at the sky, it’s clear. Endless thoughts are running through my head, I’m stuck on an island, my mentor has left me, and I still somehow need to find a way to solve my number one issue. How can I make the world peaceful, and hope I won’t destroy the world, turning it into constant chaos. Maybe chaos isn’t bad. Right now I need to think of what to do next, which if surviving this island.
