Hey there, thanks for reading my story. By now, hopefully, you know that this version is not the final final definitly done for real and knuckles edition.
I'm currently slaving away a half chapter at a time on book 4 and targetting December as a re-release with all the edits and additions I've done in the arguably excessive mean time. Which is to say, what you just read is going away then.
But as a concelation prize, you could choose what i write after I've finish book 4 and moved on... when ever that fucking happens(send help).
All these and no time to make them, but so much potential to waste. Si find it in your heart to drop a vote for one. Please.
Thank you in advance, you are the rock that keeps me on this site. Slowly drowning me in the alphabet soup that is the front page.
So anyway! Books!
----------------------------------------
Option 1: Gundam Chimera
A completely original century, a fairly unique setting, a "mostly" complete three part story, and some serious history to put to task. It's got a resurgent Earth fighting to reclaim its stature in the system from its ascended and more aristocratic outer colonies turned subjugators. It's got proto faster than light technology. It's got a Gundam being recreated from scrap and becoming sentient. It's got bio enhanced pilots made to handle the rigors of outpacing AI point defense weaponry. It's got over engineered nonsense that causes things to go berserk. It could arguably be called anything else but a Gundam fanfiction, but fuck you I'm still gonna.
Option 2: Talhk: The Demon Lord's Cannon Fodder
You know what I see too much of, Isekai. So why don't we invert that a little. Talhk is a lizard, part of a tribe in the service of the demon lord set on ruling this world... that in turn Talhk really doesn't even know or care for. He's got his own problems after all, like being the weakest member of his tribe by an obscene margin. The gods can be cruel after all. But still he will accept the call of his lord to show the rest of the warriors of his tribe he isn't useless. Charging valiantly into the fray... right into the invading forces of chosen otherworlders. All of them bearing power unimaginable and seriously out of bounds. For only gods should wield such magic. And yet, despite his weakness, he will survive. And formant a counterattack to make these invaders pay. All of them.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Option 3: Plaguebearers
Really more of a short story to add to the B sides. A mutagenic disease suddenly strikes several cities and sends them into chaos, damn near looking like a spore enhanced zombie apocalypse. But it's not all flesh eating shamblers. Because not everyone is equally affected. Most die outright, others suffer in agony and homicidal psychosis, and some... just go on living with their deformed faces breathing out green fog. This is a story about the ones who don't lose their minds, who do what they can to prevent the spread of their disease. And in turn live in near permanent lockdown under military quarantine. And all of them waiting, hoping for a cure. Or for proof that this plague has a final, noncontagious stage.
Option 4: Congratulations! You Killed the Hero!
Isekai, how original. But hey, you've always wanted to escape that mundane life. You really hoped that one day it would happen to you and look what that hope brought you. Oh hey they even give you free starting gear and some stats. And hey... why are they sending you to the arena first? Maybe for training? No that sounds like a lot of people in there to just watch noobs learn to swing a sword. Ah, wait! That guy's level 99! Why the hell are they sending you against him? Its because the game was rigged, and you're just exp for someone else farming to turn the big bad to big dust. But... but this was supposed to be your story. And you're not going to just let it slip away. No matter how much it cost this world.
Option 5: Designate :: Alea
Somewhat short so far, but definitely the niche pick here. A Battletech fanfic that's definitely non canon, but certainly untapped on the platform. A... well... it's better to just call them a person because they most certainly have no memories or a body to call their own. They wake up to a world of high-tech firepower, a custom suit of overly suped-up power armor, and a mission programed into their head to defend their armory with their life. Little more than a brain in a jar set to take on 'Mechs as big as buildings, and Mechwarriors hell bent on raiding that cache of Lostech for one hell of a payday. And oh boy will it be full of technical specs and jargon that will make your head spin, but oh how sweet it will feel to know it by the end.
Option 6: Too Bad to be a Wizard Too Good to be a Mage
A bit of urban fantasy, no stat screens or reincarnated shenanigans. Just good old fashioned rising out of the mediocrity of the middle ground. A main character with power bursting at the seams and yet turned away for not realizing any of that potential. Disallowed from learning the true extent of a "somewhat" unique magic system, he's now left with the only option he can see. Telling the upper classes to go fuck themselves and learning it all on his own. And showing this stupid world that leaving people in the dark just means they have to light a few fires to see the truth. Or more accurately, explode a few magic circles to prove a point.
