Another volume completed, woo-hoo. Now if only I was getting money for it *cough*
Anyhow, there was originally a lot I wanted to tell in this volume but, in the end, I ended up making it slower paced than I originally anticipated (don't ask me, it just happened). There were a few reasons for that, but most of it had to deal with (1) Introducing new settings and new mechanics a lot, a damn lot (2) Fleshing out Elsa and Lilias's characters, in tandem with Rose's, and (3) Coming up with all the dungeon floors and their trials, goddamn that was hard and (4) Restructuring and replanning things I thought I had already planned decently T.T
So, essentially, I scrapped a lot of my hard-planned ideas for this volume in the end. Did you know Mare was actually supposed to show up? Wild. But I decided against it. Juggling 3 main characters is already hard enough as it is. Did you know that Rose and Elsa were supposed to already be in Alos's Mage Academy somewhat close to the end? Yeah. I decided against that. (There are many more plot points that were supposed to happen, I mean just look at the shit ton of characters I made for the volume but haven't used yet, but I won't spoil as they'll appear in future volumes.)
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
I was a fool. A fool to think I could cram such a big world into 1 volume (though having less chapters than the previous, this volume is actually longer in word count by about 5k words). It seems Alos will be a multi-volume spanning city.
That's fine.
That's all.
Thanks for reading.
P.S If you could leave a review for the story so far, that'd be nice.
