Quirks.

No one knows how they appeared and why they did. But what everyone knows is that they are super interesting and intriguing. But it wasn't completely accepted in the past... And that's where this story begins.

Somewhere in the northeast part of the United States, an eight-year-old boy was walking on the streets, the clothes on his body were ragged to the point of being barely usable, and his skin was completely covered in dust and dirt. His small face had an emotionless expression while he walked forward, somewhat attracting attention to himself, this kid's name is Lich. Why he named that? Well, it all started when he was born [A/N: Duh!], something happened. His mother started to whiter while holding him, his father panicked and tried to help his wife and accidentally touched the baby, also dying, in the end, their bodies became dust.

A nurse that saw this scene screamed, attracting the attention if doctors that went there just to see the baby on the bed. Everyone then discovered that everything that this bit touches, will die. But it only works in organic things, such as humans, animals, and even paper. He was then taken by scientists who performed several tests on his body and Meta Ability, the boy lost his ability to feel, or he just didn't have since the begging, but he couldn't know for sure. They made him touch things, kill humans and animals, and even tortured he was. It was a living hell for the poor boy... All the scientists would use inorganic materials as a way to stop Lich from escaping the institution, but what they didn't know was that the boy was learning more about himself than they thought. 

The first thing he did was to train, he could control the energy inside his body, every time he "touched" someone, his body was full of energy that he could use... Well, this energy naturally regenerated by time, he could also sleep and it would go faster! The first thing he did to try something was to make this energy leave his body as fast as he could! He noticed that the air blasted and some papers that he has been given to draw was blown away by the wind... He smiled. This was his chance! After two years of training, he was able to easily control the energy inside his body and control the wind outside his body, he even could control the earth and water, he was happy to know that he had more options, It was hard to train and continue to be unnoticed, but he was able to do so. When he finally got the opportunity to escape, he took it! That day, the institution was receiving a new "research material". Another kid. 

The kid was a small girl, two years old mostly. That day, the guards needed to escort the car because some people were trying to get the baby back and Lich, being just known that he could kill/destroy organic materials, so he was left with a group of three researchers wearing inorganic clothes and other things to protect themselves if necessary, they were carrying the baby along with them because the car the guards were 'guarding' was a bait, they were changing bases. Lich used this opportunity to assassinate all the three researchers and take the baby with him, at least another person was going to have the same fate as him. Lich actually tried to not suck the baby dry, and it worked! He surprisingly was able to stop the "absorbing" his Meta Ability had and left with the baby. When it was noticed that the three researchers were killed, the first thought about what happened was that they were killed and the baby was rescued by together with the boy, it was the accepted theory.

After that night, Lich became free! With his 7 years of life, he never saw the outside before... But the excitement that he felt was strange, the first emotion he ever felt before! He was so confused that he thought that he was drugged by the researchers and became a little bit paranoid with his surroundings. The next day he started to search for civilization, he had read a lot of books on that institution, so he knew something about the outside world. Mostly he knew how to write in other languages, he likes to speak and he mostly doesn't communicate with others, so he would only try to write in other languages to learn something, it was the only thing that maintained his sanity on that place. Well, what was left of it at least...

His clothes were... Clean. At least they were white. He used only a coat and nothing below, no underwear at all. The first thing he did when arriving at civilization was to get a resource of water, he could only control water and not make it with his quirk, the next he needed a good resource of food for him and the baby... Clothes, he couldn't afford it. So he decided to do everything he needed to live, no matter what.

One year later, here he is. Walking down the streets while casually using his eyes to search for a victim... Someone to rob. In this year, he lived on an abandoned building that was burned down to ashes, he used the base and controlled the earth to create a small base where he and the baby live. He was super paranoid with everything, he couldn't trust anyone... If the scientists wanted the baby, it was for something. He first got baby food: Milk. He had to steal from several different places, he would always do it in small quantities so he would not be so suspicious. He would use his ability to control earth to go underground and steal what he needed and leave. After another year of using his quirk, Lich was able to do more things as control fire, and heal his wounds. His Meta Ability was something very interesting, he didn't know the nature of this ability, but he felt some things. 

First: Animals. He liked them and they liked him back, no matter what type of animal. 

Second: Nature. He liked nature and nature liked him back, sometimes he would hear voices on his head, but they said nothing, just a feeling pouring on his head emanating different emotions.

And third: He could use his Meta Ability to not only change himself but also heal others! He discovered it when the baby that was eight months old at that time got sick, she was having a hard time and he touched her forehead, his energy entered her body and her fever subsided completely. 

Because of paranoia, Lich started to wander around. He never stayed in one place for long, he simply left civilization and lived in the woods taking care of the baby. Trees would give him fruits even if the tree wasn't able to do so, he could easily find water, and what he would need he could just go to the nearest civilization and steal. He did it with clothes, food, and other things. 

Observing his target, a member of a gang that had Meta Abilities, his eyebrows narrowed when he saw a small child being dragged by them if someone would try to stop one of them, they would attack. Meta Abilities is something new, a lot of people started to develop them, but also a lot didn't. When he saw that the kid's skin was changing color, he sighed... Another kid that was getting taken advantage of. The kid seemed to have 5 years, he then decided to act. He closed his eyes and concentrated... His energy dance inside his body and it started to change, fur grew up fast, he started to get smaller, his nose started to stretch, and form his back a tail popped out. He became a rat.

This was one of the things he learned: He can become an animal. The process would hurt like hell, but the pain didn't bother him much. He squeaked and followed the gangsters into the shady alley where he continued to follow them. When he arrived at their base he was surprised! It was actually a big ass house that was fucking huge! He tried to be stealthy and followed behind until the gangster entered a room, he waited outside as he heard voices. One of the gangsters came out of the room with the kid that stopped struggling by now and started to go downstairs, to the basement where Lich followed. When he got inside the basement he gasped, there was more than just the small kid, there were two more... They seemed to be younger than him at least. He squeaked angrily, he was then noticed by the gangster that screamed like a little girl: "Oh shit, a rat! A rat! I fucking hate rats!." Lich ran away and hid. When the gangster left, he started to change back to normal in front of the kids while making a silent "silence" gesture with his fingers.

He pointed to the ground and the concrete earth started to tremble a little bit, then it cracked and became sand. The sand moved to the door and with a movement of his hand, the sand became solid rock, locking the door. He pointed tot eh hole and it started to expand, the kids would be actually able to move inside there. They all seemed to have Meta Abilities too, so it was interesting. First, there was the child that changed colors, a small girl that has two horns on her head, and another boy who has a set of small wings in his back. "Follow me." His voice was rusty, he couldn't speak very well because he didn't need to until now. If you are now questioning yourself where the fuck is the baby girl he saved, she is on his base, he asked her to not leave, he obviously locked her there because he can't trust a one-year-old baby! She must be crying now... Lich swore to not do it again unless necessary. The kids followed Lich on the dark underground tunnel, there was only one way, forward. 

When Lich counted his footsteps to two thousand, he stopped. The earth expanded above and the sunlight entered the hole. The kids started to cry, he could hear some things about a dad and a mom, he doesn't have one so he thinks it is necessary. When Meta Abilities (Quirks) started to awaken in people, human nature corrupted those who had power, they seemed more and more. This was also the case for these lower gang members! They the opportunity on these small children and decided to take it, Lich listen to their cries of sorrow while he pushes them forward. He just rescued them, he can't just leave them be, right? Lich doesn't know it, but it was right there on that day that he became a "Young Brother/Sister Con" and also a "Family Con" 

He would never let someone take his family from him. Even themselves...

Life Energy Control: Capable of controlling the energy of life. The healing factor can be manipulated.
