'This..... things are coming together too quickly as if already planned. Was me getting the progenitor blood drop also planned or was this an anomaly?'
Rory's voice comes from Krishna's consciousness.
'it does not matter whether all this was planned or not, you as you are right now can do jack shit about it even if you knew it was planned by someone. If they could get their hands on the blood of a human progenitor what can you do to them... what you need right now is strength my child simply accept for now that even if this was planned your action will dictate your future.'
'Yes, you are correct as usual grandma, thank you. System what should I do to accept the blood drop?'
[drink it host, rest everything will happen on its own. There will be a lot of pain host]
'yes yes, the usual novel troupe of gaining power after death like pain..... nothing new right.'
Krishna had allowed the system and Grandma to look at his memories so they could look through them at their leisure and not get bored so now there were a young gothic girl and a blue system screen with robotic eyes watching a screen made of smoke. On that screen were sometimes anime sometimes light novels and even Krishna's life experiences and embarrassing moments.
[well host I believe we should do the summoning first since if we can form a loyalty contract the summon could help miss Rory in stopping the collapse of your inner world if you lost consciousness.]
'The benefits do outweigh the drawbacks since the worst that can happen is sending the summon back. Let's do it!'
[ok then, Using this year's summon chance]
*DRRRRRRRRRRR....RRRR..RR.R DING!*
A large amount of smoke started gathering in Krishna's consciousness and slowly started taking the form of a woman.
Krishna's jaw dropped to the ground and with eyes as big as an owl he watched as the smoke took the form of 'Cathleen Bate' Yes the Cathleen Bate from My hero academia!!.
Cathleen Bate was a tall woman with a well-muscled build. She had elegant facial features, narrow eyes, and long flowing blonde hair with eight distinct tufts swept backward and fashioned similarly to the ones All Might possessed in his empowered form.
Her hero costume was a high-collared skin-tight bodysuit with shoulder pads, boots and gauntlets. Fitting to her home country and hero name, the upper torso was decorated in stripes, and her gauntlets and collar are studded with metal stars. Completing the outfit was a long, striped cape that resembles the U.S. flag.
'I had expected that someone from anime might be summoned but I did not know a deceased character will be summoned!! but it is fairly possible that out in the unlimited parallel multiverses, there could be many many versions of Cathleen, alive or dead.'
[host stop making conjectures and please pay attention]
after calming his thoughts and excited feelings he looks at Cathleen only to see her staring at him.
'amm hello'
Krishna gives a greeting and goes for a handshake, Cathleen looks at him and shakes his hand then speaks in a formal tone
'hello but who are you and where am I, is this hell or the afterworld ??'
'Well I summoned you.'
'..... what'
then Krishna explains to her about his situation, the system and the summoning function
'so I am just a copy of my original self?'

[since you have confirmed that you have died in your previous world then I too can confirm that your whole soul was brought here and not just a copy since there is nothing left to be a copy of your original self.]
' And if you know so much about myself then you too must be from my universe right then tell me what happen after I died??'
'All answers will be given to you Cathleen but first, a contract needs to be formed'
'yes and as you have told I have two choices a loyalty or a slave contract correct?'
'yes'
'well I would like to observe you first if your character and personality are similar to mine I will sign a loyalty contract otherwise you can try the slave contract but it sure won't be easy hahahaha'
'*sigh* I knew it would be like this.... you truly are the Cathleen Bate I have read about, well fine by me please watch closely if I am up to your standard since I am sure that I am.'
'you sure are confident
'you are one of the few heroes in your world who I truly saw as a hero since your priority was set regardless of rules and worthless talks of politicians and such.'
Cathleen just smiles a faint smile remembering her days as a pro hero and nostalgia starts to hit her, but she is somewhere else now and a new beginning is looking at her in the face right now.
'I need one help from you miss Cathleen, could you please help Grandma in helping to protect the inner world'
'How do I do that?'
Rory interjects in between looking a bit annoyed
'I will tell her about the technique you go and start the absorption and remember to actually have enough power to hold your and your loved one's fate in your hand you need to be at least a pawn on the chessboard that is this universe.'
'and no even master mages are just dust you need to be at least arch mage to be a pawn.... I know the way you wish to live and to live proudly and not give a fuck about those gods you need to be a progenitor since no normal being can match a god only progenitors of each race can equal the gods...Yes it's unfair but.'
Both Krishna and Rory smile widely and with fury in their eyes looked at each other, both knew the fury was directed at different beings but the feeling was the same.
'THE WORLD WAS NEVER FAIR!!!!'
'THE WORLD WAS NEVER FAIR!!!!'
'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA'
'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA'
Cathleen just looks at them in amusement.
'ok, I am drinking the drop now. See you on the other side everybody'
Rory nods while Cathleen simply stares at him.
Krishna had moved back to his and Hanako's room and sat crossed-legged on the floor holding the bottle with a drop of Progenitor blood in his hand.
*GULP*
'ahh shit here we go.'
this was the only thought Krishna could have before....
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
the pain was something that only the one going through could properly experience since no words would explain how one would feel when their DNA is being reconstructed, each time this happens and new wave bursts and then again again again again... then starts the reconstruction of the brain and nerves then organs, bones, muscles.
while these demonic screams could be heard only Hanako could go into the room and into the room she went only to see her precious child on the floor screaming in agony. Each bone of his body could be heard cracking and rejoining his skin had turned blue and all the veins were visible almost as if wanting to burst out of the body.
Hanako tried calling him a few times but seeing that nothing was working she simply sat next to her child guarding him.... all she could do was trust him to come back to her safe and sound.
"Will you too take all decisions alone..... will I once again have to wait for your safe return just like your father"
a silent tear leaves her eyes yet she just keeps looking at her child having a plethora of complex thoughts in her brain.
Krishna opened his eyes to find himself in a white room all alone.
'Did I die again..... that would be pathetic of me.'
"no, you did not die but you sure will if I don't approve of you"
"I take it that you are the previous progenitor"
"yes and you wish to be the next.... here watch what is the fate of every human progenitor"
Krishna is shown memories of various progenitors throughout the ages each with different experiences which Krishna too goes through.... Genocides, Healing, Protecting, Attacking, hiding, and even war so many experiences yet all end the same way losing everything at the hand of gods. No matter how strong it's as if fate itself refuses to let the progenitors win.
"why.... why can we never win!"
Krishna asks while crying blood tears
"because no matter how strong or cunning we get till we survive the gods can never truly control humans since we the progenitor of the race are fully capable of leading them and any human will feel more respectful towards us than any god...Those proud gods cannot swallow this so they band together.... no matter which pantheon or mythology they all band together to kill us and once again humans become the sheep and gods become the shepherd."
"the toughest progenitor was a cultivator he killed several gods but he was arrogant and showed all his cards while attacking low-tier gods..... all main gods simply banded together to bind him to the bloodline itself to show their supremacy and to let the arrogant progenitor see each of his successors die a horrible death"
"So tell me boy why should I....we, why should we place our trust in you who is just a greenhorn and not even an arch-mage."
if it had been before Krishna lived the lives of various Progenitors he might have answered properly but now.
