(The first image of the film is of a strange, foreign letter framed by darkness. Five smaller letters of the same writing appears in front of it. Slowly the letters revolve to reveal a large letter Q, with the word QUEST in front of it.)
Q
QUEST
(The scene changes to an idyllic meadow. Flowers and grass sprout up from the ground, as well as the occasional stone outcropping. A pathway paved in cobblestone winds it's way through the meadow. The meadow is surrounded to the east by tall trees making up a green forest. To the west, cliffs overlook a vast ocean, bright blue with the occasional foamy white of waves. A pause as the viewer is allowed to soak in the scenery.)
(Then, a group of children rush up from a nearby hill. They run and run, though the grass, coming ever closer to the camera. Finally, they fall to the ground, laughing uncontrollably.)
(The scene switches to a beautiful, young lady with blonde hair and a fashionable dress, reading a book on a large rock. She looks to her compatriots, laughing on the ground, and smiles. Behind her, also on the rock, is another beautiful girl, with thick curly hair, dressed in plainer, though still clearly rich, clothes. The other girl is sewing some sort of fabric.)
(One of the boys gets up from his play. He has tan skin, curly hair, and odd, pointy ears on the sides of his head. He is dressed in far more poorer and dirtier clothes than the girl. He calls to the two girls, speaking in an equally unknown language as the title's letters. Luckily, there a subtitles for the viewers.)
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Boy: C'mon, girls, you're missing all the fun!
Rich Girl: (She gives off a sly smile) It is not exactly proper to call a princess a 'girl', isn't it?
Boy: (He rolls his eyes, then points to the other girl) What about you?
(The other girl gives him a scowl and sticks out her tongue. The boy smirks, then goes back to playing with the other, poorer boys.)
(The sounds of clip-clopping fills the air, as the scene changes to a cart making it's way on the cobblestone street. A man in a red hood is driving the cart (pulled by an oxen), while three others in hoods ride on saddled horsebacks beside the cart.)
(The hooded figure on the cart looks towards the playing children. He takes off his hood, revealing a relatively young, brown-haired face. He smiles at the playing children, who are paying no heed to the men on the road. The man then breathes in the smells of the meadow, the ocean, the forest, then reigns the oxen to continue on. He starts singing a muttered tune in a different language than the children. No subtitles are provided.)
(It is revealed that the man and his companions are headed to a magnificent castle set on top of the highest cliff above the sea. As the man's singing continues, gradually getting louder, the scene shifts up; past the sinking sun, past the clouds of the sky, finally ending its travels to show the starry vacuum of outer space...)
