Logan Cruse is a half-breed between vampires and humans.  Because of his blood, he has become an outcast from both worlds and has secluded himself to live in isolation. Hunted by all, accepted by none. Logan lives his life as a protector of humans from vampires. He wishes to become one some day, if that is even possible.  There are legends that give him hope.  If Logan can kill his creator, there is a chance his vampiric DNA will be stripped clean and he will become a full blooded human... or dead.  Aware of the risks, Logan pursues his dreams, but where will his adventures lead him?  He catches a whiff of the vampires plans and they seem to revolve around a single human girl. What could they possibly want with her? Why go through all this trouble for one human?  Unsettled by the news, he shelters her until he can figure out what they are planning.  Will Logan be able to figure out the missing peices of the puzzle? Will he ever be able to become a full human? Or will all plans suffer a horrific defeat?
