Prologue : things to leave behind

Prologue

In a land far away from the central garyuk , there sat a 7 foot tall monster. A monster may not be a proper word to describe a person whose features were mostly resembling that of a human but he was in every possible sense a true monster .every species to ever be born in this universe had given him that title .If someone saw him they would describe him as a random traveler ,with his worn out robe partially torn and feet bare anyone would not give him a second glance .but those crimson eyes that were so deep as though he had infinite wisdom and aura that could crush any elf’s bones to Smithers a hundred times over spoke otherwise. His black hair fluttered in seemingly never ending currents of air. His gaze locked onto the blue giant in front of him. Spanning a couple hundred light years was an infinite source of energy ,a star that has existed long before him and had always been a symbol of power in this universe .various thoughts rushed through his mind as he remembered the time when he went to war in the giants name and eliminated an entire species just to severe all loose ends ,to have only his clan to bring out the power of a star. All of that looked so trivial to him now as he was the only one to survive in the end.

BOOM BOOM !!

Explosions created within the star brought out massive miasma difference in the atmosphere promising to bring out destruction to the measly planet that dared to orbit in such close proximity to it. This did little damage to the planet as it was enveloped in the great beings aura, all it achieved was a pressure current travelling across the planet to create wind.

He wondered where things went wrong, was it him being too weak to handle the power of Rigel or was it him being too conceited to search for a realistic solution. But no matter what he couldn’t change anything as of now. So he just sat there, on a empty throne riddled with gemstones. Though he was technically the king now with his father dead but had no clear purpose or will to do anything of sort. As a genus he wasn’t afraid of almost anything in life but at this point he realized the biggest fear that would haunt him forever. The fear of being truly alone in this vast plane, with nothing to do, to have led a meaningless life, to be …insignificant. All the great power in his grasp seemed meaningless to him as was his life.

How much time went by .He had stopped counting after 10 years went by as it had little meaning to do so. He stood up from his throne and looked around for the last time at the rundown land far from its former glory, now to only ashes remaining. He saw the large Admentite statue of his late father half sunk in dirt unbecoming of himself. Countless pillars crumbling as he slowly removed his veil covering his home planet and allowed it to slowly perish under the influence of the great star. He turned around and walked away as he heard the sounds of a crumbling castle.

‘Well , nothing’s going to happen if I stayed here’

He lifted his hand and pressed his finger forward. Cracks started forming on seemingly thin air and spread up to 5m wide diameter circle. With just a little push from his spirit did it fully break and revealed pitch black darkness within. Once again he was astonished at his own power. To have instant teleportation was a dream of many, he himself had wanted this ability in the previous war and had he obtained it then the result of the Great War may have been entirely different.

But this portal was a bit different as it did not have a particular end point, only an end region. The man did not plan on a fixed destination and set the end point of the portal on a random location in the east of goryuk. With a single step forward he let the darkness swallow him whole and the palace turned silent for a brief moment. With the veil of the great being gone, the planet, Gargantua fell onto the great star and exploded into a million pieces. The once pinnacle reaching glorious planet that once dwarfed even the four great houses of Avalon met an untimely end.

And this was the moment that the great being, willheim von gargantua made the decision that would bring massive ripples to the fate of the whole universe that no one could have possibly imagined .This seemingly insignificant portal led a path to apocalypse or the beginning of the universe … only time would tell.
