South gate, Ciara Citadel City, Eisenhiem Kingdom

----------------------------------------

“Eww, who is that guy…he looks so weird and those yellow pants look so gross...” a female elvish guard asked her human friend as she glanced at the yellow pants that Ron was wearing.

“Hush! Keep your voice low, don’t you know he is the captain of the 21st recon team…” the woman guard replied in a low tone.

“So…what’s so great in it? He’s merely a captain of a single recon team...” the elvish guard replied.

“You’re new that’s why you don’t know… 21st recon division is full of creeps like him… I’ve seen them.” The human guard replied.

“Oh! That sounds interesting! Please continue…”the elvish guard replied.

“Ok, then listen carefully… there’s a guy in their team who wears nothing but a short leather skirt round the year, he wears that outfit even in winters! And the worst part is his body, it is full of hairs and scars… they call him Grizzly.”

“Grizzly! Sounds nasty… hahaha”. the elvish guard chuckled.

“Then there’s a guy who laughs like a weirdo…” the human guard continued the conversation.

“How does his laugh sounds?” the elvish guard asked with an inquisitive look on her face.

“He laughs like *HQHQHQ*.” The human guard replied as she imitated the peculiar laugh.

“Wow! That’s weird” the elvish guard replied.

“And there’s a guy who looks like a punk!” the human guard spoke with a face that was full of fear.

“I like punk dudes… they are not weird…I used to be a punk too you know… I had a lot of piercings but most of them are closed now… I even got my tongue bisected… my bruh used to do all this sort of stuff.” The elvish guard replied with a smile.

“I can’t believe that… you’re kidding right?” the human guard looked at her in disbelief as she enquired her further.

“Nope I’m not! Although I got most of my tattoos erased but, there are still some tattoos on my body… wanna see them babe?” the elvish guard grinned as she spoke in a punk accent.

“Hahaha, no I believe you… there’s no need for you to do that…” the woman replied as she looked away.

“I don’t mind… I can show you right here…”the elvish guard replied.

“No! There are people here… I’ll definitely see them… but I believe we should do that later…” the human guard replied in a hurry with a flustered face.

“But if you were a punk then you shouldn’t feel gross by the captain’s pants…” she then immediately asked out of her curiosity towards her elvish friend.

“Well, those pants are a worst nightmare for a punk! A decent punk wouldn’t even think about watching those pants, wearing them…ohh! And those pants are simply gross!” the elvish guard replied with a face that showed her disgust towards captain’s pants.

“Oh…I’m sorry for that…Nikola” the human guard apologized.

“Hahaha, friends don’t feel sorry for each other ya know…” Nikola laughed as she patted her friend on her back.

“So you became a punk because your brother wanted you to become one?” her friend asked.

“Nah! My bruh wanted me to become just like a princess! He brought me many frilly clothes! But I liked his work too much so I started working with him and slowly became a punk… at first he plainly denied me to work with him… I still remember his words he used to say “Nikola a pretty girl like you should learn to cook or do girly things…” haha. Nikola laughed as she answered.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

“That’s cool… your family is nice!” her friend replied.

“Well, I guess I never told you that I was a war orphan and that all the members of my family were killed by the demons …” Nikola told her friend.

“Oh! I’m sorry for your family but… what…” her friend apologized to her but got interrupted by her friend when she tried to ask about something from her.

“Nah, you shouldn’t feel sorry for them… they got what they deserved and they meant nothing to me…” Nikola replied with a sad smile.

“But why… what did they do to you?” her friend asked suddenly.

“They were always treating me like a pest, for them I was just a means of entertainment, they tortured me day and night, and they gave me no food… I was kept hungry for weeks… they laughed as I screamed… but, in the end they got bored of me and sold me off as a slave…” Nikola replied in an angry tone and paused for a few seconds.

“I was loaded in their caravan with the other slaves… as soon as we left the city; it got attacked by the demon air brigade… I watched as the city got devoured by the flames of hell wyvern.” She continued talking as she looked at the sky.

“Soon, our convoy got ambushed by the demon soldiers, who were tactically stationed at all the escape routes… the demon soldiers; one by one slaughtered everyone who was present there… I remember that I wasn’t feeling any kind of fear…in fact I was feeling glad and relieved at that moment; knowing that all of my sufferings will soon end.” As she finished her sentence her sad smile was replaced by a wide grin.

“But then out of nowhere big bruh appeared… I still remember that moment it was so mesmerizing…” she told her friend while she gazed her with her shiny light green eyes.

“He slashed the demon who was holding my neck in half and quickly grabbed me in his strong arms… he then casted one of his spells, soon there were countless number of vines growing out from ground, they restrained all the demon soldiers who were present there… he then took out his pair of signature weapons … he called them ‘ZEUS twins’; activated their weapon skill and killed all the demons in a flash!”

“But didn’t you tell me… that all the members of your family were killed?” her friend enquired.

“Haha, can’t you guess… my big bruh was an outsider…*Hah!*, he was a human… he took me in…” Nikola replied as she laughed.

“I bet he was very dear to you…” her friend looked at her with compassion.

“He was my ‘best’ big bruh… haha, even though he was 5 years older than me… he was a kind man, a great warrior, a good teacher, and an expert piercer and tattoo maker… he taught me everything that he knew… he was always there when I needed him; when I was alone and scared…”

“He pulled me out from a world which full of pain, misery and loneliness and gave me the world which was full of warmth, brightness and color… he was my hero, my star… my world *sob* and now he’s gone…”

“I miss him so much!” tears kept flowing out from Nikola’s eyes even though she constantly wiped them off from her handkerchief.

“He told me that I was the prettiest girl in the world and I would look great if I dress less like a punk and more like a girl and I should have a normal life and shouldn’t try to avenge his death by fighting with the demons and that it was his last wish…”

“And also that he liked my small but pointy ears and straight brown hair!” And he said those words with a laugh.

“I’m trying to fulfill his dying wish by becoming more ladylike…” she continued while she wiped off her tears that were still flowing.

“Don’t worry… I’m here for you… I’ll try to become like your brother… and I’ll help you to achieve his last wish.” her friend smiled as she reassured her brunette elvish friend.

“Thank you… you don’t know how much this means to me…” Nikola replied as she looked at her with her eyes that were still full of tears.

“But don’t expect me to become a punk okay!” her friend commented.

“What!!! Oh no! ahahaha” Nikola beamed with a delightful smile that complimented her pretty face.

“Haha, now that’s a smile to die for…” her friend laughed as she replied.

*GIGGLE* *GIGGLE*

Both of the girls giggled for a while.

“Now that you’ve mentioned it… you are really unique… I don’t recall an elf having brown hair! That’s a rare color for your species! And your ears are small in fact they pretty much resemble a human if you compare it with my ear…” her friend spoke excitedly.

“I don’t know… maybe that was the reason I was treated like an outcast in my community…” Nikola replied.

“Well, who cares about that crap… if anyone tries to bully you, your big bruh here will beat that person into a wafer…” her friend grinned as she cracked her fingers.

“Now, let’s continue our earlier conversation from where we left it… So, there’s a guy in their team, who just talks about cats all the time…” her friend changed the topic to elevate Nikola’s mood.

“Oh! But aren’t there many people who love cats and talk about them all the time?” Nikola asked her friend.

“Naah! He is a bit weird; he has strange habits… what was his name again? ” her friend tried to recall as she walked.

Both the girls kept on chatting as they patrolled around the gate.
