What is a perfect life?

Some people said it is a life full of joy.

Some said It is all about love, about fame or about power and money.

Everyone has a different meaning of a perfect life but most of them wanted a life like a prince, a life where they can have everything.

The sound of a door opening rangs.

"Your Highness!" greetings from different gender echoed.

A group of male and female servant lined up neatly in a bowing position facing a youg and elegant man on a wide and long corridor of the palace.

The young man wearing a luxurious simple looking robe waved his hand to receive their greetings.

Seeing the young noble's action, the servants stoop up straight and an old servant step forward before saying "His majesty, the king, is expecting your presence at the Hall of Blessings for breakfast" .

The young noble nodded his head as an answer.

After confirming that the young noble heard, the old man took a step back to his position before saying "This servant has finished his purpose and ask the prince to be excused.".

"You may go" The young noble answered.

The old servant gave a bow again before turning back and walk away, behind him, a part of lined up servants gave a bow before following him.

It was silent for a few seconds before the young man spoke. "Megan, I want you to leave the instructions on how and where to clean in my room to the other servant then follow me to the Hall of Blessings."

A maid in her twenties gave a bow after saying "My pleasure, Prince Wales!".

Wales gave Megan a look as she entered the room with other servants left outiide the door. After making sure he didnt forget something, he left for the Hall of Blessings.

In a kingdom which is owned by King Gregory Eternal, there is a castle built in a cliff that overlook the whole kingdom. Eternal Light castle, the palace where the King and his family reside. It is a small castle compared to others but it cannot be said to be small as ceremonies, gatherings and meetings are done inside the castle.

Inside a small part of castle, A round table where a man and a woman is having their meal full of smile with a few maid serving the dishes can be seen. As they eat their dishes, a young noble barged in unannounced.

The maids stop what they were doing and gave the young man a bow before continuing their work.

"Wales, you're finally here!" The woman exclaimed and gave her a sweet smile before grumpily saying, "I almost thought that you forgot that you promised to have a meal with your mother".

Wales smiled embarrassedly "Its been a long time since i had a comfortable sleep so I woke up late."

The Queen stood up from her seat and went behind Wales. She gave her a hug before saying sadly "My little boy had been having a hard time".

Wales blushed as he struggled "Come on Mom, Im not a little boy anymore!"

The Queen smiled "Ara Ara, no matter how much you grow up you will be my little boy."

Wales blushed even more as his mother and father laugh at him.

"Okay, thats enough teasing Leilah. How can your son face his future wives with u doing that." Gregory announced after having a good laugh for awhile. He cough lightly to change the atmosphere, "Wales, as your father, I am very proud that you've finish the trials given by your grandfather. Not only did you finished it, you also done so splendidly." He cant help but give a smug smile as he said so.

"That is why i decided to let the whole kingdom know that I the king have a wonderful son. The whole kingdom will celebrate your Day of Birth on the 6th day of next month." Gregory boasted.

Wales gave a helpless smile and said "Can we not?"

Gregory answered with no hesitation. "Ofcourse no. How can I, the king, not let the whole world that I have a dashingly handsome son!"

"We dont really need to boast how awesome am i, right?" Wales argued powerlessly.

"Why not?" The king shoute with agitation. He calm himself and said in a lower tone "Ive already decided so it gonna happen no matter what. I already sent invitations to our neighboring kingdom and nobles so its inevitable.". He have a satisfied smile whlie saying so.

Wales felt helpless on his father's quirk and sighed.

Leilah hugged him again from the back and said "Just let your father have his fill. He just want to have fun with you before you go to your grandfather's side."

Wales pondered for a bit before answering " Okay mother, your son has let you down and have to leave your side".

"No no, you didnt let us down. Instead, we are very proud of you. But you have to promise to always make sure you are safe." Leilah said.

The three continued on their meal while talking until they had their fill.

Wales said before parting with the king and queen "Father, Mother, I want to relax for the rest of the day so have anyone who have business with me come back tomorrow, Please?"

The King and Queen looked at him curiously before answering "Fine, but be sure to have your meal on time."

Wales left the Hall of Blessings and went back to his room with Megan.

Wales took a sit on the sofa inside his room and relaxed for a few minutes before speaking "Megan, make the servant prepare the bathroom, Im going to take a bath."

"As you wish my prince" Megan answered before going out the room.

After a few minutes, Megan came back to fetch Wales.

Wales stood up and got out of the room, he stopped his steps and pondered. "Also, Megan, be ready. Were going to do that like we used to do after I took a bath."

Megan hesitated before answering "Is this okay? The king will be mad if he knows."

Wales only gave a smile and continue his steps while saying "Its not like its the first time we're doing this, come on, I'll take responsibility when something happen."

Megan bit her lips and gave a nod after a while.

Wales went to the bathroom and took his bath. Megan arrange everything as her master wished before she went to the bathroom and wait for Wales.

The two of the went back to his room after his bath.

Wales took off his bathrobe while asking Megan, "Are you ready?"

Megan nervously nodded as she take off her outer clothes. "Yes. Please be gentle master, or the king's ears might hear something."

Wales slowly walked near his bed where Megan is and said "Dont worry, everything will be fine!" When he is right beside Megan, he stretch his hand forward.

The sound of the bed creaking softly was heard.

Wales whisphered softly "What are u waiting for? open it up or ill forcefully do so!"

Megan knitted her brows and gnash her teeth before saying "You're responsible for this, Wales!" She waved her hand while chanting in a small voice.

A hole appeared on the ground where the bed was supposed to be. Wales smiled and jumped inside as he pull Megan with him. After they jumped in, the hole closed up and the bed, which was floating above it slowly came down.

"I still cant beleive that there is a magic circle for teleportation under my bed even thou we already used it quite a few times. " Wales said while sighing.

"It was made like this by the ancestors of my Light family so that the inheritor of the Eternal clan can escape when things got awful." Megan answered.

"Ohhh, I feel relieve knowing you and your family is here for us." Wales answered.

"It is our duty to be so is what I should say but as my master, you have the right to know that only when Eternal have a suitable successor will my family serve the royals wholeheartedly." Megan confessed.

The two of them continued to chat as they came out of a cove. the cove is very hidden and full of misleading spell that makes people unable to see it. They dressed like commoners where u can find everywhere which was hidden by their outer garments after they leave the bathroom.

They walked through the stony path that is blocked by rock on all side. Its like a tunnel dug in a mountain except it is place at the bottom of a cliff. When they came out, what awaits them is a forest.

Wales looked around and said "Its been 5 years and everything here seems unfamiliar already."

"That is normal master, this forest is where most hunters and tree cutters make their living. It is only natural that itll become unfamiliar as time goes by." Megan informed.

Wales nodded and said " Is that so. Anyway, can u stop calling me master? Others may find it suspicious for a commoner to have such a beauty as servant. It also irks me hearing you master here master there."

Megan blushed and murmured "Im not a beauty".

Sadly, Wales is not looking at the beautiful sight and was mesmerized by the scenery above instead. "How smart of your ancestors to build a castle up above a 10 kilometer cliff."

Megan recovered and answered "It is because itll make observing the kingdom from up above more easily using observation magic.". "It is also because my ancestors wanted the palace to be eternally looked up to by the kingdoms people. That is why the built it on a cliff facing the kingdoms territory."

Wales stayed quiet for awhile before saying "It really is a great scenery youll never forget ones you see."

They chat for a bit more before making their way out of the forest and into the nearest town.

As they were heading out, they didnt notice that someone is secretly watching them from up above.

"Look at how mischievous your son had become!" Gregory said. "He just came back but instead of being with his parents he choose to sneak out!" He shouted while fuming however a satisfied smile hung on his face.

"Hmph, you're not one to talk! Back then if you didnt meet me first when you sneak out you might had have so many concubines that i wont even have energy to count!" Leilah said as disdain can be seen in here eyes.

cough, cough "Honey, didnt I end up just being with you alone" The king said to please his woman.

"Hmm, You can try if want to!" She said as she focused on Wales figure reflected on a pond. She smiled gently as she watch his figure blurred until its gone as the observation magic is undone.
