As we entered the house I heard someone scream “Arno Orion Asra!!” I turned my head to where the voice came from to see a tall somewhat muscular man walking into the entrance area, as he walked I noticed he had a very bad limp, he didn’t seem to notice any of us as he walked past and grabbed Arno by the back of his shirt. “How many times do I have to tell you? Stop running away when it’s training time!” The man scolded the small boy. “Robby, why do you have to be so hard on your kid?” Jesse was the first to say anything out of our group as we all were shocked to see our old party member. Robby was an old member of my party when he was an adventurer he was great at a lot of things, being strong, intelligent, gentle or stern he was great all around. The reason behind his retirement was his last dungeon dive, we had just finished slaying the monster that lay at the bottom but as it died it knocked loose the stalactites from the ceiling of its cave. One of the stalactites fell on Robby impaling his leg, we were lucky to get him out alive but the damage to his leg was too severe to heal and it ended up having to be taken off. Even after all that happened to him, he refused to stop working, he mainly repairs carriages now but he helps those that he can when he can. His tall and somewhat muscular frame showed as he held his son Arno with one hand. He had dirty blonde hair when he was an adventurer but now he has a shiny white dome for a head with a white goatee that spreads into a soft beard growing along his jawline, one of his pants legs rolled up to reveal his wooden prosthetic as he turns around putting Arno down “Go get ready Arno, your uncles should be here any minute.” Robby said, looking at his son. Arno became a flash of gray and brown as he rushed up to the stairs almost knocking over the woman walking down the stairs. She was beautiful in the red dress that covered her. I could assume she had a slender figure. Her beautiful slender face looked at Robby as she reached the bottom of the stairs. As she got close to Robby she placed a small hand over his shoulder pulling him into a soft hug “Don’t be so hard on Arno dear” the woman said in a gentle motherly tone. “He has to be taught how to be strong for when I pass, Dawn.” He replied with slight irritation in his voice. Arno returned his slightly long hair brushed to the side showing more of his feminine face, I couldn't help but look at him and Dawn "What happened to the boy's real mother?" I whispered to Robby so Arno couldn't hear. "She ran out after giving birth, damn bitch left me to raise this boy alone till I married Dawn here." Robby's answer was filled with anger, I could tell he despised Arno's biological mother. "Knock knock!!" A voice sounded from the front door as it opened up to five people, three of them sporting the same bald head as Robby, while the other two had some hair on their heads. They were Robby's brothers Tim, Chris, Brian, Andy, and Randy. I don't know much about the brothers but you can clearly see their resemblance. They all entered and surrounded Arno, messing his hair up, and telling him happy birthday, but the boy didn't seem too happy, his smile toward his uncles almost looked fake. After the uncles showed up Robby clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "Thank you all for showing up." He began in a soft tone. "We all are here today to celebrate Arno's ninth birthday." After he finished his uncles added a grunt of appreciation to the young boy. The young boy gave a bow as a thank you to everyone. "Thank you all for coming to see me on this occasion." Arno said with a somewhat more real smile, after thanking everyone he left the entrance hall entering another room. After he left a bell suddenly rang and we turned our heads to the source. The front doors opened to the sight of a woman in an unusual black dress stepping into the house, her long dark brown hair waving behind her with each step. I struggled to look at her from the sheer presence she radiated, her somewhat sharp facial features formed around piercing sharp eyes appearing as gray gems in her sockets. She casually walked up to Robby "Hello, Robert." The woman began. "Where's our child?" She asked as her head looked around the room searching for the young Arno. "He's getting ready for his party, Irene." Robby said through gritted teeth "Why are you here?" He questioned. The woman Irene looked directly at Robby "Isn't it obvious? I've come to spend time with our son."
