Sitting in the class, bored as usual was an unremarkable student going by the name of Benjamin or just Ben. If only one word were to be used to describe a person, for Ben, it would most definitely be “unremarkable”, for he got average grades at school, always a solid ‘B’, no matter how hard or how little he studied. He had just an average social life, not too popular, nor a loner. He was average at sports, crafts, had no bad habits to speak of, took a neutral position in all arguments, and was average at just about everything. Not including useless talents like juggling, being able to draw with your feet, being a perfectionist, being able to write with both hands, etc.

And just like that, our young protagonist was transported into a random swamp in God knows where, where he was sinking fast into the muddy water that was beneath him.
“WAIT WHAT!? THAT WASN’T IN THE SCRIPT! CAN I NOT JUST BLINK FOR ONE SECOND THAT I AM ZIPPED THROUGH TIME AND SPACE ITSELF TO BE IN SINKING IN A SWAMP! A SWAMP OF ALL PLACES!”
And as our brave and mighty hero was struggling not to drown in the muddy swamp water, he shouted (more accurately screamed)-
“HELP, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! OH I DON’T WANT TO DIE YET. C’MON! HELP!”
And as out brave and mighty hero was despairing about his eminent death, a person in a black robe behind him looked at him in exasperation and said,
“Relax, the water’s only 6 feet deep. Can you stop screaming now?”
“SAY THAT TO A PERSON WHO ISN’T SIX FEET AND CAN’T SWIM! A PERSON LIKE ME! WHAT ARE YOU DOING STANDING THERE!? HELP ME!”
‘First, I teleport the boy into a world of his fantasies… and now he needs my help to NOT DROWN IN A SWAMP THAT IS LITERALLY 6 FEE-calm down, calm down, deep breaths…’
And thus, was the first interaction between our young protagonist and the God of Time and Space.
