The Dark that watches Back

The Dark that watches Back

The Dark is so utterly calming to my eyes, its seeping gentle hold on my heart were others dare not to trend. Impenetrable blackness engulfs me and my sickend soul, the air is crisp and welcoming as I open my rooms window to breath some fresh air I'm currently in the care of the local institution the Doctors all say a sickness has invaded my mind and its causing me to experiance Hallucinations and Insomnia so they cut me open and took parts of my brain now I feel empty. When I woke up my voice was gone and the room was too hot to breath so I opened the window and the Comforting cold air entered my lungs, a soft gust of the mornings frigid breeze took the edge off my pain My tears fallen on a silent world and from the dark came comfort in my absent world and the Darkness was there to witness those tears I shed.

I wait at the open window for a few hours overlooking the deep forrest, Patients who can act normally have rooms on the 7th floor the windows are barred of course to keep from suicides so every morning roughly at 12:50am I get outta bed, open the window and watch the forrest the clouds today hum with thunder the clouds sometimes illuminate the surrounding area in blue but rarely does the sky produce a deep red glare from High atmospheric electrical discharge, for a few seconds the world was bathed in its Blood red light giving the world a hauntingly beautiful look as it dims the world outside my window fades back into absolute darkness. I turn off my bedside lamp and lay in the dark staring at the glass window as the cold of the outside holds me in its clutches my eyes drift off towards a handprint on the window I must've unknowingly touched the window but it looks to be on the otherside of the glass.
