The Blazing-Ice Dragon

The scene began with Princess Misaki and Jason doing their hardest to fight off countless Varmints who attacked and attempted to eat them with their squads. Having just defeated Prince Magnus' squad

However, they were unable to defend themselves and were completely overwhelmed because they were simply too weak.

A seriously injured Princess Misaki thought to herself, "I can't even land a hit on this monster" as she blocked one of the varmints' attacks.

"Let alone leave a scratch on them.".

"And I can't even use my abilities at full power; otherwise, I risk harming everyone around me.".

"What should I do?" she asked herself in distress.

But then Elowen created a colossal tree and used its vast veins to incapacitate the varmints.

Jason then created two energy spheres and began fusing them, launching them into the sky while saying "Fusion Ignition.".

Jason yelled at everyone as he started running in the opposite direction, urging them to flee as far and fast as they could.

Princess Misaki attempted to flee, but she slipped and fell to the ground due to exhaustion.

Jupiter, sensing this, dashed towards Princess Misaki and formed an immense and durable barrier around him and Princess Misaki as Jason's energy sphere continued to expand.

The energy orb then grew back inward and detonated in an instant, destroying everything nearby.

As the dust cleared, Jupiter, who had been severely burned, breathed heavily as his now-damaged shield crumbled.

However, to the surprise of Jupiter and Princess Misaki, the varmints were fully unharmed.

One varmint steadily approached Princess Misaki and Jupiter, and Jupiter braced himself to fight the beast and protect Princess Misaki, a member of the royal family, from harm.

The Varmint crouched and stared at Jupiter with awe and fascination, with its terrifying eyes. As it then faguely said the words, "E...rus.".

The varmint saw Jupiter's terrible burns and attempted to touch them. But, in an instant, the varmint was struck by an ice phoenix, which propelled it above the atmosphere before exploding into a frightening, enormous explosion that cleared the entire sky.

The rest of the varmints were perplexed as to where the attack had come from, but then a being came hurtling down, crashing into the ground and causing the ground to shake, violating.

And that being was none other than Instructor Joshua, who hurled his Ethereal Instrument, the Leviathan Battleaxe, at the varmints, slaying eight of them in an instant.

All of the varmints ran at Instructor Joshua in rage, but he simply slapped his hands together and said, "Ice Age: Sub-Zero.".

The entire forest was instantly frozen, including the trees, mountains, lakes, and varmints.

Instructor Joshua summoned his Leviathan Battleaxe, destroying all of the now-frozen varmints while running toward Jupiter and Princess Misaki.

"Are you guys okay?" Instructor Joshua asked with a voice filled with worry and concern.

"Are you able to move?" he continued.

But Jupiter fainted from exhaustion before he could answer all of Instructor Joshua's inquiries.

Holding Jupiter, Instructor Joshua began to unfreeze the entire forest since it was too cold and dangerous for Jupiter and Princess Misaki. He then turned to Princess Misaki and inquired, "Your Highness, did you guys perhaps fight against the varmints?"

"Yes, we did, Instructor Joshua," Princess Misaki responded.

Instructor Joshua then inquired, with a more serious and frightened expression, "In that case, did you notice any strange black-green veins appearing around your body?"

Princess Misaki, perplexed, scanned her body to see whether she had what Instructor Joshua mentioned and said, "No, I don't.".

"Thank the heavens," Instructor Joshua murmured, relieved.

Princess Misaki then said, "Why did you ask me if I had strange green veins around my body?"

Instructor Joshua responded, "Well, I'm not sure how to put it to you."

"But to put it into simple terms, being in contact with a varmint is a death wish.".

Then Princess Misaki inquired, "Why is that?"

Instructor Joshua answered, "Well, those are varmints made of a strange force."

"That when we come into contact with them, we become infected with an incurable and deadly poisonous virus.".

"And that virus is called the Black Death.".

"A virus that kills the host rapidly, even immortal beings," Instructor Joshua explained.

Princess Misaki was completely shocked and questioned how something so horrible could exist and why being in contact with the varmints was so dangerous.

Instructor Joshua responded, saying that they had no idea what unusual energy the varmints were composed of.

But they did know how to prevent becoming infected with the Black Death. Which was to turn your aura into a thick layer around your body, as thick as your skin, to escape being infected by the horrible Black Death.

Suddenly, multiple explosions happened from the other side of the forest, and Princess Misaki wondered what could have produced such massive explosions.

And Instructor Joshua stated calmly, "Oh, that's just your homerun teacher, Miss Seo-Yeon."

"Miss Seo-Yeon caused those explosions," Prince asked, shocked.

"Yes, she did," instructor Joshua answered.

The atmosphere suddenly became thicker, making it difficult to breathe.

Instructor Joshua snapped his fingers and made new ice troops, sensing that something more dangerous was going to emerge from the portal the varmints had emerged from.

He then directed the ice troops to take Princess Misaki and Jupiter to the evacuation sector, where all of the students who were participating in the Forest Crown Hunt event were being transported.

Instructor Joshua then took on a more intimidating tone, warning his ice troops that his students must be safe. And that he would not accept their endangerment as an option.

Frightened, Instructor Joshua's ice soldiers carefully took Jupiter and Princess Misaki and began running to the evacuation sector, where all of the medics and staff members were stationed.

Instructor Joshua stretched and carefully removed his Leviathan Battleaxe from his back as an incredible amount of energy blasted forth from the portal from which the varmints had entered.

A varmint emerged out of the portal, but it was unlike any other because it resembled a human.

Instructor Joshua thought to himself as he looked at the humanoid varmint, "This is my first time seeing a varmint, let alone a humanoid one.".

"From my knowledge, a humanoid one is on the level of a red administrator core and above.".

When the humanoid varmint noticed Instructor Joshua, it smiled and began to speak.

"What delicious food you are," the varmint said terrifyingly.

Instructor Joshua was shocked to hear the varmint speak.

And given that the varmint could speak, this indicated that it was equal to the power of a patriarch.

Despite being highly intelligent creatures, varmints are unable to speak any of the languages of the four races.

Instructor Joshua responded in a serious tone, "You lowly creatures, how dare you harm my students?"

To which the varmint remarked, "Your students smelled delicious."

Hearing this, Instructor Joshua laughed and asked, "You think you're going to be the one feasting today?"

Instructor Joshua cracked his bones and said tauntingly, "Now tell me, how would you like to be cooked?"

"Rare? Medium? Medium-rare? Or well done?"

This enraged the varmint, who attacked Instructor Joshua right away.

However, Instructor Joshua effortlessly blocked its attacks, taunting the varmint for how weak its attack was.

The varmint then kicked Instructor Joshua's Leviathan Battleaxe out of his grasp and hit him in the face with tremendous force.

Instructor Joshua, bleeding from his nose, smiled and promptly gut-punched the varmint, making it puke up all it had eaten.

The varmint, now agitated, threw several blows at Instructor Joshua, who effortlessly dodged all of them.

And he completely dominated the varmint in hand-to-hand combat, as if he were playing with a toddler.

Instructor Joshua kicked the varmint on the chin and used his Leviathan Battleaxe to strike it in the midsection. Freezing the varmint midsection as he tossed it away.

"I know you have a Void black Patriarch core rather than a mastered one like mine, but you're pretty weak for a varmint," Instructor Joshua taunted.

The varmint then shouted, "I will kill you," as it began to heal its wounds rapidly.

Suddenly, a swarm of varmints poured out of the portal and into the humanoid varmint, increasing its size tremendously.

Instructor Joshua detected how the varmint's power increased dramatically, and he quickly began to take things more seriously.

Instructor Joshua cupped his hands and drew them to his side, beginning to channel concentrated freezing energy below -460 degrees Celsius into a single point.

He then thrust his palms forward, firing Cryo-Blast, an enormous and powerful blast of ice energy that instantly froze the varmint and everything else in its path.

The varmint let forth a roar so loud that the ice around it shattered.

The varmint suddenly appeared behind Instructor Joshua, hitting him hard and sending him flying.

The varmint then soared into the air, crashing on Instructor Joshua and making him growl in pain.

Now on top of Instructor Joshua, the varmint unleashed a fury of punches on Instructo Joshua.

Instructor Joshua summoned his Leviathan Battleaxe, which flew at incredible speeds and slammed the varmint off its master, leaving him bleeding severely from the varmint's strikes.

"How are you losing these badly?", Miss Seo-Yeon commented humorously as she stood behind Instructor Joshua.

"Oh, so you're finally here, huh?" Instructor Joshua said annoyed.

"But you sure took your sweet time to arrive," he noted.

Miss Seo-Yeon laughed and answered, "Oh, relax; I'm just playing around.".

"I know that that varmint is on our level".

"So you don't have to be so mad about it," she explained.

Instructor Joshua sighed and stated, "Just get ready to kill that thing, Seo-Yeon".

Miss Seo-Yeon smiled and said, "Alright, alright".

She then raised her hand, summoning her ethereal instrument, the Crimson-Blade Rebellion. Which was sitting in the core of a volcano several miles distant and caused a volcano eruption as it flew out of the volcano at a rapid pace to assist its master.

As the Greatsword, Rebellion, fell in Miss Seo-Yeon's hand, generating a powerful burst of air, Miss Seo-Yeon turned to the varmint as it healed its wounds rapidly. "I heard varmints had a ridiculous healing capacity.".

"But I never thought it would be so absurd and fast like this.".

Instructor Joshua then said, "Well, either way, we have to completely kill it somehow.".

"Or else it will grow even stronger than us and become impossible to kill," he added.

Miss Seo-Yeon replied playfully, "Yeah, and we need to kill it before the imperial army arrives.".

"Because I don't want Miss Faelwen to think I'm weak," she continued jokingly.

Instructor Joshua summoned his Leviathan Battleaxe once more, and he and Miss Seo-Yeon braced themselves to defeat the evolving varmint. Their power increased dramatically with every second.

The varmint then instantly ran toward Miss Seo-Yeon and Instructor Joshua with lightning speed, but Miss Seo-Yeon stopped its attack with Rebellion.

Instructor Joshua then sliced off the varmint's left leg with his Leviathan Battleaxe, freezing the wound to prevent it from regenerating.

Miss Seo-Yeon followed the block by slashing the varmint's chest with her blazing Rebellion Greatsword, burning the varmint severely.

The varmint then held Rebellion, but Miss Seo-Yeon released her sword grip and performed a blazing uppercut named "Rising Dragon Fist," which created a burning dragon formed of fire that sent the varmint into the air.

Instructor Joshua then generated several massive ice spikes that impaled the varmint mid-air.

Miss Seo-Yeon jumped from the spiked ice pillars created by Instructor Joshua and kicked the varmint back to the ground.

She then landed on the varmint's chest and stabbed him in the neck.

The varmint yelled in anguish, grasping Miss Seo-Yeon's head and slamming her to the ground. But Miss Seo-Yeon refused to let go of her grip, aiming to decapitate the monster.

In desperation, the varmint leaped into the air, hoping to shake off Miss Seo-Yeon.

Instructor Joshua suddenly appeared above them, striking the varmint's back neck with his Leviathan Battleaxe, yelling at Miss Seo-Yeon, "Do it now!"

Miss Seo-Yeon swiftly ignited a blast of flames at her feet, spinning herself horizontally like a rotating blade.

And successfully decapitated the varmint with the assistance of Instructor Joshua.

But that wasn't enough, as the varmint promptly began to reattach its head.

Miss Seo-Yeon quickly kicked the varmint away and flew to grab Instructor Joshua's hand before he fell to the ground.

She and Instructor Joshua then released their auras, which engulfed the skies, demonstrating their God-like strength.

They both swiftly fused their ice and fire abilities, and in the blink of an eye, they both exclaimed, "Gamma-ray Burst," as they unleashed a massive blast of energy that engulfed the heavenly skies.

Which altogether annihilated the varmint, shaking the entire globe and obliterating innumerable celestial bodies and galaxies while leaving a gaping hole in the great cosmos.

As they fell back down, Miss Seo-Yeon humorously stated to Instructor Joshua, "Thank you for me.".

"My knight in shining armor," she added provocatively Instructor Joshua was irritated and said, "I should have left the varmint to eat you instead.".

"I know you wouldn't, Oppa," Miss Seo-Yeon said.

"Plus, this is the first time we've ever fought something else other than each other.".

To which Instructor Joshua replied, "Well, you're not wrong."

"This is the first time in a while since I've used more of my power.".

"And I feel quite rusty," he continued.

Miss Seo-Yeon agreed, saying, "I know, right?"

While Miss Seo-Yeon and Instructor Joshua continued to converse, Miss Faelwen hurried towards them in a state of panic.

Miss Faelwen seemed frightened, so Instructor Joshua asked her if everything was well and what if something awful happened to them.

Miss Faelwen replied, asserting she was OK. And that nothing awful has happened since the imperial army, Principal Cedric Ravenshadow, and the other teachers were able to eliminate the remaining varmints.

Miss Faelwen went on to say that she was panicked because two students, Xavier Ashford, and Prince Magnus Flashstride, were missing and not in the evacuation sector.

Miss Seo-Yeon was taken aback and added that she hadn't seen them while she was rescuing the other students.

Miss Faelwen responded, claiming Princess Misaki had informed her that Xavier and Prince Magnus had gotten into a fight with each other.

Looking agitated, Instructor Joshua sighed and told Miss Faelwen and Miss Seo-Yeon that they should go find Xavier and Prince Magnus right away.

To which Miss Seo-Yeon and Miss Faelwen nodded in agreement.

After searching the entire forest, Instructor Joshua and Miss Seo-Yeon discovered an unconscious and severely injured Prince Magnus, with the help of Mis Faelwen's Eyes of Revelation.

Miss Seo-Yeon immediately placed her hands on Prince Magnus and checked to see whether he was still breathing, wondering what had occurred.

But then Instructor Joshua noticed an abnormal amount of varmint blood on the ground. He then spotted Xavier's glasses, the Visors of Time, on the ground and picked them up.

Miss Seo-Yeon panicked when she saw Xavier's glasses, believing that something awful had happened to Xavier because he wasn't with Prince Magnus.

Miss Faelwen reassured Miss Seo-Yeon that they couldn't just make assumptions.

But Instructor Joshua pointed out that they searched the entire forest and only discovered Prince Magnus, except for Xavier.

Miss Faelwen paused for a moment before responding, noting that Xavier could have fought against a varmint, seeing how there was varmint blood on the ground. And perhaps he lored the varmint out of the forest for the safety of the other participants.

Holding his head in frustration, Instructor Joshuabe calmed himself down, stating that Xavier could still be alive out there. Because a genius like him would not die so easily, even against a varmint.

Miss Faelwen agreed with what Instructor Joshua stated and urged Miss Seo-Yeon to take Prince Magnus to the evacuation sector while she and Instructor Joshua searched for Xavier outside the forest.

Miss Seo-Yeon agreed to their idea, gently carried Prince Magnus, and leaped into the air before flying him to the evacuation sector to be treated for his wounds.

Miss Faelwen and Instructor Joshua then began to search for Xavier on the outskirts of the forest.
