Serena raised to her feet, holding her wand by her side and gripping it tightly.
“I repeat myself, who are you?”
She asked again, with less shake in her voice.
The little boy tilted his head to the side giggling with two voices. Something then ripped out from underneath the skin of his forehead. A third eye. Blood running down his face from the cracks in the skin around the eye. The eye looking dead into Serena’s.
“Who are you?”
He asked, in the adult voice.
Serena’s hand shook as she raised her right hand and took a step back, holding the wand out to the child. Ash pulled the rifle of his back from behind her, though the idea of having to shoot a child didn’t sit well with him. He didn’t even turn the safety off yet.
The crowd around them that was silent for so long then had a break. A woman crying.. She was coming from behind the child.
“My son!” She cried.
“What have you done to my son you FOUL BEAST!!!”
Serena watched the child, his grin seemed to grow, the voice changing back to the boys.
“Don’t worry Mommy.”
The head then spun straight around, the bones cracking as he looked straight back at his mom crying on her knees.
“I’ll be with the angels soon.”
The woman couldn’t take it, the mother’s heart broke, as she fell back with a faint.
Serena’s hand shook so much she had to hold her right hand with the left. The child turned its head back around and the third eye pierced right through Serena again.
“I thought you a witch. Why you stand there in fear? Bow to me.” The child said in the adult's voice again.
“I…” Serena began. “I don’t bow to Demons.”
“Oh?” he said with a tilted head the bones giving another crack. “But I’m not a Demon… I’m a Devil.”
Serena felt sick, what was the difference? Demon or Devil aren’t they both bad?
“I don’t serve evil.” She said again.”
The boy’s face dropped immediately.
“That’s a shame.”
The third eye then closed and the boy’s neck gave a final CRACK…. The body went limp as the child fell collapsing on himself.

Serena stumbled back and held a hand over her mouth in shock.. The whole crowd gasping…
Serena looked back at Ash, he was wide-eyed and shocked to his very core. But she felt like the worst wasn’t yet done. She looked back to the body and a wire was wrapped around the child’s ankle… With a swift tug, the body was pulled back far into the shadows beyond a few houses… The crowd had dispersed giving a pathway as the body was dragged off someone picking up the fainted mother. A trail of blood was left on the dirt road.
Serena watched the shadows as a figure would slowly walk out from them…. Holding a white swirling orb within his grasp. The man had a deep scowl on his face, which Serena found most unpleasant. His hair was strawberry blonde. Black slits for eyes and he had three of them. Pale skin and a perfect facial structure. He wore a red velvet suit with golden accent designs upon it. A golden R upon the breast pocket…
He bent his head back and unhinged his jaw, all pointed teeth, throwing the orb back down his throat. He closed his mouth and swallowed looking dead center to Serena, pushing through the crowd. He was only a couple of inches taller than her, short for a man, and a demon.
“You know…”
He began.
“I wasn’t going to come to this town, the celebration was annoying. Then I saw your magical display... What do you call it?”
Serena took a sharp breath in..
"Fireworks..." she responded shakily.
He put his hands in his pockets and glared down at her. "fireworks..." He then continued, “I was hoping to find a great witch to serve me, though I find a delinquent.”
Serena huffed and muttered to herself as she took another step back and held out her wand to him.
“I am warning you! I am telling you now! Get away from these people, from this town!”
The Demon scoffed.
“Pathetic... What are you going to do to stop me? Huh? You’ve caused me such inconvenience on my travels that I’ve decided to just consume the whole town. That child’s soul was delicious anyway..”
So that's what that was..? A soul?
“How about this.” He said walking up to the fainted mother behind them, snatching her by the hair by another's arms.
“I put this one out of her misery… She’s going to be consumed by depression when she awakes anyway. I’ll give you a few moments to stop me though… Good witches like you are slightly….. Amusing.”
Serena didn’t know what to do, she just stared at the demon, her mind racing. She looked to Ash, his weapon aimed at the demon. But Serena had no idea what it even did! If he would work, if it would stop him! She just held a hand up behind her.
“I-I got this Ash.”
Ash raised an eyebrow and lowered his weapon.
“Serena, are you sure?!”
Serena nodded to him, but she wasn’t sure. Not at all. She gripped her wand tighter searching her mind for what to do. And again, a voice… The same one before the fireworks but now louder.
“The wand!”
It yelled.
“Throw the wand!”
Serena was so confused and at a loss, she went stiff.
“Throw it up now!”
It repeated. The voice is not one but many. Many women.
Serena didn’t think twice, she threw her wand upwards and the demon almost laughed at her. Though before he did all three of his eyes widened.
The wand spun in the air, sparkling pink and yellow, as it grew and changed to the shape of a sword... Falling in the air Serena’s hand was still up in the air as she caught the now silver blade by the handle. Once it reached her it would light up in fiery flame.
Ash couldn’t believe his eyes!
Serena’s were still closed, held shut tight. She opened them and looked up seeing the blade on fire.
“Woah.”
She said.
“What the fuck!?”
The demon announced dropping the woman from his grasp. “What is your name, who the hell are you!?”
Serena moved the sword down by her side, shifting in her steps holding out the weapon in a stance of defense and attack.
“I am Serena Light, and I will banish you back to the depths of hell.”
