I turned over the test to see they went 1 question per page and had a total of 4 questions. First question, when did supernatural occurrences begin to happen around the world? I wrote down the exact day which was February 3 2030 around a year ago from now. It was an unforgettable day of chaos with a large amount of people dying around the world. All because a couple of people around the world gained powers and immediately started killing people without reason. I noticed a girl fall to the ground unconscious surprising me and a few others while some others focused hard on their test still.

“Focus on your tests and complete as much as possible you have 25 minutes left.” One of the women in blue said while picking up the girl and carrying her out. I was concerned on what could of happened but I needed to finish the test. Second question are mutants allowed to live? This was a weird question but I do know that America is the only country where mutants are hunted or killed for being mutants. Third question what makes an empowered individual unique other than the power they were given? I scratched my head a bit trying to remember anything I'd heard from rumors. Oh wait, I've heard that they are naturally 5 times stronger than the average human, and lots of them have weird-looking eyes. I was a bit unsatisfied with that answer but it's all I knew. I peeked over at Nakita and saw him staring dead straight at his paper and wasn't moving an inch. He must be worried about failing the test too I don't blame him. Third question it's been one year since “That Day.” do the empowered individuals still live and lurk, if so how are they kept at bay or somewhat suppressed? This question was a bit difficult i wasn't entirely sure how they were calmed down but I do know that in America they have 2 organizations. One of them was called Project: A and was created where only 3 or 2 mutants would help stop outbursts of other mutants to bring unity between them and people. The second organization was made up of 1 mutant whose sole purpose was to eliminate any mutant who had a too-dangerous power or showed a sign of wanting to harm others with it. I sighed writing it all down nervous about if it was the right answer. I noticed that it was extremely quiet and everyone was so still I barely even heard anyone writing anything. Then I flipped to the fourth question. Write the name of the most feared man in the world. I felt myself freeze up and remembered the man who shook the world. He had an intimidating aura that felt he could do whatever he felt like at any moment. He first appeared a while after destruction across the planet happened. I remembered it like it was yesterday. he appeared in front of my family and only stated his name and said to call him god. He had pale skin and wore a black shirt and pants with a bunch of bandages wrapped around him covered in blood. His hair was straight black and long that reached his shoulders and had many feathers that blended in with it. The most terrifying thing was his eyes they were demon-like and were all white except his sharp iris. It felt like if I looked away or moved I'd die. My body wasn't shaking but I couldn't move scared still.

“1 minute left,” one of the women in blue said. I tried desperately to move and write his name but I couldn't. He's not here, he's not here, he's not here I tried to convince myself to move. Slowly I put my pencil on the paper and wrote the unforgettable name that was forcefully imprinted in my head. Dae Hwang. After I wrote it down I felt instant relief and finally regained control over my body. I looked around seeing everyone still including Nakita who was in the exact same position as when I saw him earlier.

“Alright, the test is over please do not write any more than you have already written.” I sloched back in my chair relaxing my fast heartbeat. I hear others begin to move and finally talk. I looked over to Nakita who just looked at his paper in frustration as it was taken by one of the women in blue. Once another woman in blue came around to me she grabbed my paper and then immediately froze. I realized it was still on the page that I wrote his name on and I took the paper from her and turned it around. She looked at me slowly with widened eyes.

“You wrote his name down.” I looked at her with confusion before she rushed out of the room. Then an announcement came on.

“Once you are finished with your test you are free to head back to your room until lunchtime. The grading process will be announced soon in your room.” I walked over to Nakita who seemed upset,

“You alright”

“Yeah”, he said getting up.

After we made it back to the room he immediately began working out again. There wasn't much to do in the room except talk to Nakita but he always seemed so reserved.

“Hey, not to be rude or anything but why do you work out so much? “

He stopped doing his curlups that seemed to cause him pain and just paused for a bit.

“I used to have the best family in the world. My mom always cared and encouraged me and my dad always seemed to be the one holding everyone up on his shoulders. He was a construction worker and there wasn't a thing that he couldn't do. I wanted to be just like him, follow in his footsteps, and show him that I was strong too but then that day on 2030 came and nothing but destruction and chaos happened around the world. Apparently, there were people that didnt like my father and saw this as an opportunity to do what they wanted. They came into our home and stabbed him in the back repeatedly in front of the family. My mom immediately jumped in to stop them but ended up being another victim of their heartless desires. My father went into a frenzied rage. Even with multiple stab wounds he managed to handle them like nothing and beat them to a pulp with his own hands. I just stood there and watched everything happen. My mom just bled out on the floor and my dad just collapsed.I cried for so long, for so, long. I yelled for help, but we lived out in the middle of nowhere while the world was falling. It took me a few hours but i realized, no one was going to save me, comfort me or get the four bodies that lay lifeless in the house. So I buried them all, my own parents and both intruders. In this new world ruled by people so strong that they could level buildings and whole cities. Only the strong survive, so I'll dedicate my life to becoming stronger and protect the people who I care for.” he went straight back to doing his situps. I felt bad I hadn't thought about what he's gone through. I also wasn't sure what to say so it was just silent for a while

“You know we had a mother until a couple of days ago.” he stopped his workout again and turned his head a little toward me showing he was listening. “She always took care of us and protected us. But she was sacrificing herself for us. Shed constantly comes back from so-called “work” with bruises all over her and exhausted only to make little money and barely enough to eat. So I followed her one day hoping maybe I could do something. When I got to the place she went to she begged a man for money and offered herself in exchange but because the man wasn't interested in her anymore he threatened to shoot her. So I came in and thought I could stop him but she was shot anyway. I only managed to get out of there thanks to the man in the mask, Shane August and I ended up telling my sister she was out finding another job. She just seemed to happy and healthy here I couldn't tell her yet. But I do know I want to keep her happy and healthy for as long as possible so I'll do whatever it takes to have her stay here.”

“I see, looks like we are in a similar boat,” he said with a slight smile. “I'll make sure to do my best to stay here too.” Then an announcement came on.

“The tests have been graded please check your screen in your room for results.” the screen lit up behind me showing a leaderboard as I scrolled through the numbers and names I looked for mine frantically.

“Stop,” Nakita said seeing his name and next to it a 70% rank 266. He sighed in relief. I immediately looked for my name and after scrolling for a while I found my name.

“100% rank 1!” my happiness immediately went back to worry as I scrolled to look for my sister's name after lots of scrolling I found it but my heart sank,
