2000 To 2151 In Hours

I was created in the year 2000 and lived until the year 2278; the years have become but a blur.

My story is indeed an animation of man's greatest and weakest creation. My story will raise a plethora of questions, and some may be left unanswered, this is the mystery of the story. I order to understand what I am about to tell you, you must possess the potential to believe in the unthinkable, and you must own the key.  If you hold both of these close to your heart, the story will unfold.

To answer the most basic of questions you need this crucial piece of knowledge; I was artificially created to become the longest, strongest and most phantasmagorical living being created humans that ever lived.

The government set up a program where scientists would try to create the perfect humanoid lifeform, one immune to all diseases, to cellular degradation and a vessel that could be weaponized with a “super serum”. The super serum could unlock every hidden ability of the body and unleash the full power of any organism’s DNA. The power of the serum was unbridled in powered and should be used in amalgamation with the ultimate lifeform.

After 18 years of research, the project was shut down due to lack of progress and funding. The scientists were unable to get any positive responses from any of the 'prototypes’. There were many prototypes, but none of the prototypes had responded well to the genetic alteration, they either ceased to live or had genetic defects relating back to the genome structure of their genetic code. However, in my unusual case, I had reached a point of stasis where my body incubated and grew to accommodate the genetic changes, unfortunately, this was a process that took 134 years to complete, and by then It became the year 2152.

I had emerged from a containment chamber completely aware of what had happened; it seemed that during my incubation my brain was in a hyperactive state that analysed and grasped information from the surroundings and by using small undetectable electric charges to communicate with all electronic devices. When I had arisen from the chamber, I had the appearance of a 15-year-old male but had the matured brain of a well-versed adult.

I had developed quite a few different abilities other than using just my mind; I possessed enhanced strength and minor manipulation of molecules. Controlling these skills were like using my limbs, my control was outstanding but still had the ability to be refined even further. Using these skills, I shuffled through the wreckage. Easily throwing the large pieces of fallen debris from the decaying building. My head was still in a state of confusion, I was like child having a tantrum and throwing toys onto the ground.

After surveying the area I found a big laboratory door. The door was rusted and sealed shut so even with my abilities there was no way that brute force was going to put a dent in the door; since it was made from tungsten carbide and laced with a diamond lattice.

I couldn’t get out of the laboratory where they engineered me, so I spent some time reconstructing the lab to try and pass the time and to find something that could help me get out of the lab. After moving some of the wreckage, I had stumbled upon a hatch which was made from a 5 centimeter slab of cobalt chrome. The hatch was covered in small metallic burs which gripped into my skin pulling at my flesh, it hurt more the harder I tried, small amounts of flesh were torn off my hands leaving the inside of my hand vulnerable to pathogens that could be present. After a few hours of gruelling effort, I had managed to open the hatch although it took most of the flesh off my hands.

I travelled down the hatch and followed the tunnel that laid beneath the laboratory. It led to the outside world where, as far as I could see there was nothing but a desolate desert full of despair. I knew that there was a civilisation, but it had to be quite the distance from where I was standing.
