Prologue III: 'Stat and Cities'

Prologue III: 'Stat and Cities'

There are eight stats to be distributed. Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Charisma, Luck, Intelligence, Perception and Wisdom.

You start with 3 points at each stat, every time you level up, you receive more stat points to be distributed.

“Yes, yes, just gimme the stat board to get over it.”

A red board with yellow margins appeared, there were the abbreviation of each stat was there in yellow runic words: STR, DEX, CON, CHA, LUK, INT, PER and WIS.

In the very bottom of the red board was another set of words with: Points Remaining: 16.

'Hmm, If I do an equal distribution, I could distribute 2 points each. Yet I am not known for being intermediate. Hehe. Wisdom and Intelligence I’ll throw in the trash, since I don’t expect to be a mage. Charism… Should I put one or two ? I am too loveable to not make use of it. Luck ? Pff I don’t need help with critical damage, or drop rate, I want as much fun, as I can get. Now constitution, dexterity and strength are more important to me. Since I prefer warrior type than ranged, so perception won’t do the trick, maybe one or two points aswell. I hope the new ingame classes surprise me. Well the races did not.’

STR: 7

DEX: 10

CON: 7

CHA: 5

LUK: 1

INT: 3

WIS: 3

PER: 4

'Since I can get points back, I took out of Luck, Like I said, the longer it take the fight and item farming, it’s funnier and better to farm stat points. If there’s something I hate, is lazy people that use a game’s bug, or advantage to get stronger fast. That’s why I dropped out of a certain community.’

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

‘Before I confirm, I should choose which weapon I’ll use. Last time I used a long sword. Should I improve ? Hmmm…’

Ten minutes later.

'Arrrghhh. I’m spending too much time. I’ll use shield 'n sword. That’s it.’

“Confirm.”

Where do you wish to start ?

'Goddamnit.’

Another board appeared in the scenario. This one was blue with yellowish edge. There was a list with the names what were supposed to be cities, following each name, there was a description below, like to which race it belonged, If there was in war or peace, what was the economy of the city, the size and if it was friendly, neutral or in war with the player races.

'Tiantus, the central city, no conflict, PvP off, commercial city, good to find class masters, shops and training grounds… Seems a good place to start. Let me see the others.’

'Blue Wind City ? Why does I got this odd feeling about ? Human city, specialized in martial arts. Meh, not my type.’

'Gitogred, dwarf city, mining city… Oh what a surprise, a dwarf city with a mine.’

'Eldraty, elven city… I don’t need to read anymore to know it’s a city in the middle of a forest.’

'Pam, Angel city… Stop right there, I am a fallen angel, I have no interest going there, except it’s absolutely necessary… Who am I trying to fool ? Obviously I would visit there… ♪Is it really such a crime for an angel such as I to speak as mine♪… Hahaha.’

'Khanto, known as hell, one off many cities that belong to the demons… Funny fact, many people think that demons and fallen angel are the same, but they not.’

'Well since I came with the fallen angel thing, it’s normal for not exist any fallen angel cities. If I can be an fallen angel, then there are some ingame, yet their passive abilities are occult until you play as one. At least I can know it’s affinity.’

“Set initial city as Tiantus.”

'Probably will be the choice of everyone, and there will be crawling with people asking to enter their guild, but I am a lone wolf. Hahaha.’

Everything is set. Start Session ?

“Yes.”

Thanks for Logging in. Play nice. Play fair.

The dirt ground, night sky, the swords and shields, the dragons and fire, all of it was instantly dragged to a one point in the darkness, then it completely disappeared.

Genric was feeling his body being slowly generated, the feeling of his new hands his new skin, height, hair, everything.

'Indeed… Technology is amazing.’

Then a sea of pixel-like colors were flowing around Genric, until those pixels turned into colored streams, then into images, making the puzzle complete. Dots became lines. Lines became streams. Streams became blocks. Blocks became images. Images became a city.
