It's fucking cold. I've been walking through this snow for days. I don't feel like it any more.
Alex was once again not in a good mood. His trip to the mountains turned out to be totally unsuccessful. "Fucking intuition. Next time you can do your own dirt" he mutters to himself as he trudges past a large spruce tree. After a year in the mountains, his skin has become accustomed to the humidity and the weather, but today was a record day with a chill of what felt like -30 degrees.
His winter combat suit has proven to be durable and perfectly resistant to the cold. He carries a Berghaus MMPS backpack with food, cooking utensils, vitamin pills and herbs. In his void boxes he also has other raw materials from the mountain. In addition to fur, meat and creature essences, he has collected quite a lot of rare herbs and mushrooms. With his four void boxes filled, he sets off for the next border town, which is near the Zugspitze. "He better not have sent me a private jet. If I'm already doing him such a big favour, I expect that, though."
After another five kilometres, Alex can finally see the border wall that stretches across the entire northern border of the Alps. The border is powered by several nuclear plants, and it takes 10 crystal plants to keep the life detection systems in working order.
According to Alex's map, he should arrive in one kilometre at a border post where there is a passage. With a final check of his equipment and papers, Alex sets off. "Hopefully I can get through the post without a fight. I don't want to set off the border alarm again. As long as they at least let me show my papers this time, I have hope."
At German Post 68, Kevin jolts up from his chair as an alarm from the main gate wakes him. Sleepily, he skips through the channels until he has the camera where the recognised being can be seen. It is rare enough that a monster comes anywhere near the gate, but this time it is a humanoid being. Kevin has been employed at this post on the wall for 9 years and has only ever let teams of humans and the like through the gate. Seeing a single person at the gate is special enough to inform his superiors. Just as he is about to reach for the phone system, he sees that the communication unit from the gate is answering. In the camera he sees that the entity has pressed the buttons to connect to the control centre.

After Kevin has pressed the button for the silent alarm and the silent alarm now wakes everyone up in the whole post area, he goes to the console for the gate. Tense, he presses the button for transmission. "Border post 68 of the federal territory of Germany. Identify yourself." After three tense seconds, a male human voice answers in German: "This is Xerxes, soldier and guard of Arlo. Open the gate. I am on a tear through on behalf of Jayce the Awakener."
As the stranger finishes speaking, the control centre fills with soldiers and staff. Seven armed soldiers with G36s and MP7s stand ready for battle in two rows in front of the gateway. Three more employees have gathered in the switchboard area of the headquarters and begin to operate scanners and information units.
Kevin activates the intercom: "Present your papers and identification. Do not draw weapons and remain calm. Are there more people coming?"
"No, I am alone. My verification number is 1337389 and the papers are in the system under that number."
After three seconds of shock, Kevin passes the number to his subordinate. After six more long seconds, the number could be assigned. The profile is heavily censored, has no person description, no picture and no name filed. While still reading through the information displayed, a message appears on another monitor, coming from the main control centre. "Let the person with the number 1337389 pass unhindered. Do not search or talk to the person. This situation falls under classification level 3."
