Black Magic, still learning how to use these mi amigos.
After watching the white ball awhile more, Dale noticed it was slowly going down like the sun, thinking about it more for a second, he realized if the bright ball was the sun, this must be the nus! He wondered what would happen next until he saw the sun slowly creeping up on the sky.
After watching the sun go up to the middle of the sky. Dale looked around and determined everything was back to normal, and as a bonus he could finally see past the fence. He spied a bunch of buildings and some weird looking things shaped like himself but immediatly he noticed they weren’t the same silvery blue that he was.
Chalking it up to a random coincidence he bravely phased out of the rock yard and almost immediatly phased back in. As soon as he had phased out of the yard. He had been hit with a wave of nauseousness unlike anything he’d felt before in his brief life. Deciding to try again, he phased slowly out of the yard but still remained close enough to go phase back in, Dale felt slightly better than before but it still didn’t feel quite right. After awhile of just floating there he started to feel the nauseousness alleviate and noticed another 3 bright blue boxes that were slowly starting to fade.
You have left your spawn area!
You have contracted Spawn Sickness!
Spawn Sickness cured!
Well, whatever that was, it must be good because the bad stuff stopped, right? Dale thought to no one in particular. Having found his bearings, he contiuned on his brave journey to the box places. After some time, he approached the edge of what looked like an endless path of green and brown. It was blocking his path to the buildings, but it seemed there was a small gravel path leading into the deepest part of the woods, so the adventure continues! As Dale phased on and eventually got lost, he was met with three strange occurences.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
First, he got another strange box,
Phase +1
Becase it looked the same as the ones he had gotten while floating, he assumed they were the same thing. Next, after about 10 minutes he discovered that when he tried to go through one of the brown things, all that would happen was that he phased right in front of it, but couldn’t go through it. Deciding to just dodge these brown things, he continued on and was hit with another box
Intelligence +1
Looking around, he learned that these were called trees, and that the brown things he had previously thought were seperate from the green things were actually the trunk and leaves of a tree respectively. He also started to get a basic understanding of the words in front of him, intelligence must of been what made him smart, and phase must be connected to his ability called Transparency because it has the word phase in it, right? Dale thought to himself. He also realized rather embarressingly, he had been calling the silvery white ball the Nus but now learned it was called the moon
Next, Dale came upon some furry creatures with fuzzy ears and button noses. They looked friendly enough so Dale decided to approach them and see if he could have them help him out of the woods.
As he was slowly phasing his way to the fuzzy creatures. One of the creature’s furry ears perked up and looked straight at Dale. Almost immediately, the poor things heart stopped as waves of fear radiated from this transparent monster which was slowly creeping towards its warren. As soon as one collapsed, the others quickly bolted into the nearest hole in the ground leaving the last to the mercy of this horrible beast baring down on them.
Dale was stunned. He hadn’t meant to do this, but right after it had happened he had gotten another notification,
(Skill) Spookyness Increased to level 2! 2% of the way to level 3!
Dale pondered this for a moment. If approaching these creatures made his numbers bigger, then thats a good thing, right? Deciding to do it once again, with a smile full of glee, he approached the hole where the creatures has disappeared into.
The next day, when the citizens of the small village called Randotown came into the woods for their daily hunt, they found what could only be described as a massacre of the woodland bunnies with not one remaining in the area. This day was henceforth called the day of no-hops.
