Chapter Two, Part 1: What is This?

What is this?

Where am I? Ah, right. I lost, how? Why? How did I lose? Ha! Using my own energy against me, clever. However, she shouldn't have been strong enough to use that energy, so how? No point wondering now, I'll figure it out later, for now, where am I?

This place...reminds me of the void before the abominations.

----------------------

A handsome young man with long curly hair reaching down to the center of his back lay on his bed, his eyes fluttered open and he sat up. He scanned the room with his brown eyes before finally settling at his own hands.

"Stra-" The man went to speak but couldn't, he found his voice to be hoarse and strained. The man flipped his legs over the side of the bed and in an attempt to stand he almost fell over, before gaining balance on the bed's canopy.

The room was dark, and there wasn't much in it besides the bed. The man regained his balance and began to walk, it wasn't very fast or smooth, but he could walk. He made his way toward the door, the door itself was huge, and he surprisingly managed to open it with his meager strength.

He stepped out into the hallway and glanced around, gold, red, and white. Those colors were everywhere, even in the room the young man awoke in.

He'd already guessed it, but still, he didn't understand how he ended up here then he had an inkling of what had occurred.

Putting his hand to his chin he thought, 'The energy must've destroyed my vessel, broken through space, and sent my soul here. It's not too far-fetched, after all the energy was originally meant to seal them anyway.'

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

'This body, however...' He thought glancing down at himself, wearing nothing but some pants he was awfully malnutritious, and from his observations so far he assumed he was a noble of some sort, so why was this body so awful?

'That can be answered later, but first...I'll have to talk with one of them.' He shivered at such a thought, but the thought of talking to an abomination was Repulsive, repugnant, disgusting, and unnatural.

The more he thought the deeper he went until he remembered what 'She' had done, his aura flared as he thought, 'How dare she! HOW DARE SHE COPULATE WITH ONE OF THESE FUCKING THINGS!?'

---------------------

Mana, is the power of the soul, although Power's body has changed, his soul has not. In his anger he lost control, revealing an extremely small part of his mana. This awakened a certain individual who lived inside the mansion and said individual was now rushing toward Power's location with his sword in hand.

'What the hell was that!? I've never felt such powerful mana before, and it's coming from His Imperial Highness's room, I have to hurry!' Thought the armored-clad man.

--------------------

'Shit!' Power realized he let himself lose control and quickly reeled it in, but it was already too late, someone was coming. That someone was approaching rather fast, well fast by human standards anyway. Power, who wanted answers, didn't go anywhere and simply waited.

He didn't have to wait that long either because the individual in question was already in sight and running towards Power. However, the individual looked extremely shocked.

'His Highness is awake!' The man thought as he saw him standing outside the opened door to his room in the middle of the night. The man immediately when within reach from Power, kneeled down and said, "General Deral Yon Nemor greets His Imperial Highness The Fourth Prince, Leofric Oswin Yon Vasmen!"

Power suddenly felt extremely fatigued, his body's strength failing him as he dropped to his knees in pain. The General rushed to his side to support him, "Your Highness!"

Despite the condition he was in, Power merely glanced in disgust at the hand of The General, which was holding him up. However, he soon pushed the thought from his mind and succumbed to the sleep.
