“Let him in and bring in some refreshments.” I ordered.
Before the maid could open the doors, he burst it open.
“Sister!” he cried. He ran towards then stopped in his tracks.
“What are you wearing sister!” he covered his eyes, his face red.
“My PJ’s”
He threw his coat which hung on his arm.
“Wear it.” he said as he took a steady breath.
He sat down as he muttered: “I should fire that maid.”
“What brings you here Second Prince?” I took a cookie.
He momentarily stopped drinking his tea, but managed to keep his posture.
I waited.
“Well, of course I came to congratulate you for your graduation!” he took out a small box. A gift?
“And, this is from the King and Queen,” he said with disgust. “They wanted me to deliver it.'' He slid the box across the table. There was a note underneath the box.
“Maids, i would like to have some privacy so please get out of my room.” i ordered, regretting putting that please in it.
They left reluctantly.
I imagine they were just spies to report to the Empress. Maybe that’s why Sara Maid what sent out, just so that the Queen’s minions can take over my room.
“What’s up?” I said.
Aeson sighed and finally looked at me.
Whoah. He also had green eyes, although his eyes were darker. He looked just like Jason, if Jason had green eyes instead of hazel, and if Jason had light brown hair.
“Anyways, don't wear that thing. You can feel the magic seeping in it right?”
My mind was confused but my body and my Seventh Sense seemed to be turning their gears. I put my hand on the box and the box brightened up in a flash. What did I just do?
“Problem solved.” i said although it sounded more like a question.
He just nodded approvingly.
“Anyways remember the thing we talked about last time?” he asked.
“What thing?”
“About the throne!” he hissed.
Ah, so this time was when Rela was about to kill her parents to get the throne, because she couldn't wait until they died. Or she dies before them. She had to strike fast. Plus everybody was tired of the King and Queen. They ditched their work in the hands of nobles, and if the nobles did not do their work properly they were executed, or they would have to pay a high price. Rela’s mother, the late Queen, died before she could even give birth to the Second Prince. The present Queen saw this chance as a chance to make her child a royal prince, and not an illegitimate child. The King actually agreed, blinded by infatuation, and not even when one day passed, a mistress became a Queen. The nobles became outraged at how he could do it but they couldn't cause riots and stuff if they didn't want to die.
Anyways, with some help of the High Temple, with their magic, the Second Prince was able to survive and live.
But since I was born before all of this happened, I was Crown Princess. And the Queen probably saw me as a threat for the throne, she supposedly poisoned Rela when Rela was 16. I think Rela used most of her mana to save herself and she lived undercover as a student in Euse, as she waited to strike.

But judging by where I was right now, I guess I came by the time she got caught by the Royal guards. Maybe by her appearance they figured out. All Royal Blood have green eyes. If the child didn't have green eyes they would be left in the wilderness to die.
Anyway probably the nobles were relieved I was back, and the Queen was probably biting her nails off. She will try and kill me every chance. That’s exactly why I had to strike first.
If i didn't strike and take over the throne, maybe the nobles would storm in and do the job for us--- but might kill us as well, for us not killing them plus we were adults already, and they thought we were brainwashed and useless. So we should kill them first, and follow the path of Aurelia.
“Hello? Rela you still here?” Aeson waved his hand in front of me.
I came back to the present. “Yeah. yeah. Where were we? Oh right, the plan. Let’s do it.” I said.
Aeson looked mildly confused. “What plan? You told me that you will figure it out and tell me the next time we meet.”
Okay, which means Rela did all the planning. She was the game master.
I told him the plan just like Rela had done a long time.
“What, so simple?” he sounded suspicious.
“Yeah. I mean , what parts should we make complicated? We can just easily kill anyone who opposes us. Then we kill them. Easy!”
“Even the guards? Can you take them down? I mean sure, you are good at swords but they are adults! Big adults!”
I rested my hand on his hand. “Yes. it will be fine. Plus there's an advantage that we get if we kill everyone who gets in our way. It will send a clear message not to underestimate us and not to mess up with us. Plus won't that prove we are the rightful heir of the throne?” i didn't understand what i was saying. Would the nobles already be fine if I became Queen?
“Mmm. I mean it's not a bad plan but it's too easy.”
I knew it was extremely easy. But that's what was Rela’s very first mission for the throne. I had to follow her path.
“Then, we seize the throne. Then what about the former ‘Crown Prince’?” he said distastefully.
The first prince was our half brother. Although his mother was a power hungry person, he didn't care about power, he was more like a playboy. Thankfully, he had absolutely no interest in politics or the throne. He also helped Rela, during her reign.
“Do you wish to kill him?”
“Yes!” he cried. “He stole my position just because he was born 10 hours earlier than me! I should've become crown prince if that……. King didn't make that monster a Queen right after mother died!” he sobbed. I gently patted his back.
“But hey, the First Prince isn't even interested. Plus revenge isn't everything. You understand me right?”
Aeson seemed to be thinking more about it. He finally sighed.
“Fine fine. So we don't kill him. Anyways, I'm so glad to see you here, back at the palace, and not worrying when people will discover your identity! That gave me thrills!” he held my hand tightly as if he was afraid i would disappear. “When are we, I mean when are you going to do it?” he asked.
‘Immediately, tonight. ’ was Rela’s thought.
“Tonight.” i declared.
Aeson didn't seem surprised at all. Rela’s nature was probably, head-down-finish-task-quick style.
“Oh and don't forget the act.” he stood up ready to leave.
“What do you mean?” i asked.
“You forgot. No matter,” he rolled his eyes. “The part where you force us to swear our loyalty to you.”
Us? I had a feeling he was talking about the First Prince.
“Ok. i’ll try not to forget.” i said, making a mental note. Although I can memorise things, I can only think clearly when I am not hurrying.
He headed for the door and stopped.
“Oh, and just call me brother like you used to. Formalities can drop when we are within the palace.” he said.
He left the room.
Wait…. Oh right! I forgot the fact that he was actually my brother. He resembled Jason so much that I thought I was talking to Jason instead of my brother Aeson.
I think I was 2 or 3 years older. So her brother was 17 or 16. Nevermind, Hes, 16.
The door bursts open
“Rela!” the not-anymore-Crown-Prince charged in. wow. He looked just like Rian. Would his name also sound like Rian. Let’s see.
Ex-crown prince hugged me and squeezed so hard I could hardly breathe.
“Hey, it's ok. I wont leave for now,”I patted his back then added “Crown Prince.”
He looked up with an annoyed look.
“Ugh, don't call me that! I hate it! Just call me Ian like how you used to! I missed you! Now I don't have to become Crown Prince! The pressure that….. That Queen gave off to me was so hard.” Right, our half bro didn't see the Queen as his mother. More like a foreign person, who he doesn't hold respect to. That was the same for Aeson and I so we became close--- until i went away. I felt bad that Aeson thought Ian was a bad dude, but he’ll figure it out later on.
“Oh oh! And also tell me if the maids misbehave! You have to tell me!” he insisted with puppy eyes. His eyes weren't as clear as Aeson and I but it still had a tint of dark green in it.
“Because I want to help you, but I don't know what I can do to help you,” he muttered. I hardly cared for the maids since they would be banished or killed if they got in my way, tonight. But it was heartwarming that he wanted to help me.
“Yeah thanks. And, I missed you as well. Go back to your classes. I know that you skipped your classes “I chided.
Ian just flinched as I led him out.
