Phillip stood in front of the bed that Edmund was lying on, covered with countless wraps of magical herbs, and despite its undisputable quality, it was still taking time to heal his butler. "It seems that our little brother has broken him beyond anything he has gone through," Thalia said as she walked behind him, looking at Edmund.
"He will be fine; he just needs a few more days to recover," Phillip replied, looking at the other maids replacing the herbs that were on his body with new and fresh herbs.
"Maybe. But his mind will be broken, and it will remain that way." She muttered before walking out of the room.
Phillip then looked at Edmund again, shaking his head, still couldn't believe what he had seen yesterday, 'What is that ring?' He thought, realizing that this match against his brother, which he had been so confident about defeating, might be more complicated than he first expected.
But even though he knew the risk, it made him much more curious; he wanted to know how powerful it made his weak little brother, and he wanted to know if the ring would be better for him.

"Whoo! Whoo!" Damon started jogging while moving his hands in the air, improving his stamina.
"Would this actually work?" The reflection asked as it floated right beside Damon.
"Hopefully, I am not really training anymore… I'm just testing…." Damon replied while continuing his jogging.
He knew that it was unrealistic to expect a significant change in terms of stamina in just a week since it takes years for a boxer to be able to fight 12 rounds at the highest level and try to convert his fat body into a fat body with high stamina would be unrealistic.
And even though that would be a significant change of ideas from what he first planned, seeing how good or bad his stamina was would help a lot in his planning for the fight, "So you are not gonna train?" His reflection asked.
"Well, not for this fight, but I need planning, a lot of planning…." Damon said before he dropped to the ground taking out a small notebook from his pocket and writing down the time that he lasted jogging.
As he stood up, he could see someone peeking from the side of the mansion, clearly trying to spy on him, but as this person emerged out of there, Damon could see that it was his ex-fiance, Xandra, "You think with that kind of strength you can fight against your brother?" She asked.
What do you want?" Damon asked while wiping off his sweat while walking towards the mansion with his legs sore.

"You can't beat him; you will die." She roared before Damon turned.
"And? Im sure you wouldn't come here to waste my time with your words, right?" He asked, sounding annoyed.
Xandra closed her while biting on her own lips, trying to control her anger, "I can lend you help, so you can beat your brother and live." She continued.
Damon laughed before entering the mansion, not even thinking about the deal at all. "Why did you ignore her?" His reflection asked.
Damon looked at Wyne as if he was the biggest idiot he had ever talked to, which would be true considering that no one on earth would buy such a lie; he then shook his head before continuing walking up the stairs, "Dont forget, she was part of the problem that made you the way you are, trusting her would be the most foolish thing that anyone on the planet could do, and even if she really helps up defeat Phillip, she would find a way that would make us bound to her." He explained before entering the room.

"So, that didn't work…." The elder of Uldron said as he walked towards Xandra.
"I don't understand. He was always so compliant, always so obedient, and so innocent. What changed him?" She asked.
Astirix looked at his granddaughter with a shocked expression raising his brows, realizing what was going on, "Do you like him?" He asked.
Ever since she was engaged to Damon, she had always tried to berate and insult him. So why was she acting like this?
"No!" She shouted, covering her face and looking annoyed at her granddaughter. "I just… It is weird to see someone change that quickly."
"Maybe the reason he changed was because of you," Astirix replied as he saw a lot of men, including himself, being changed after being humiliated for a long time.
"Or maybe it is just the ring…." She replied, also wondering if she would benefit from using the ring.
"Maybe." Astirix said as he raised his head and looked at Damon's room, "But I can say this, without the ring, he is definitely nothing; he can't even jog." He muttered before looking at Xandra. "Get on good terms with Philip. And get the ring after Damon dies."
Xandra nodded; that was the new plan, after all. "I will."

"Aghhh!!!" Edmund screamed in bed and ripped out the bandages that were covering his entire body, the image of blood spilling on the floor and Damon's face stuck in his head; it was like a parasite-infected in his head, feeding on his fear, on every emotion he had.
"Edmund!" One of the maids jolted back, trying not to get accidentally hit by the bear-like butler; with one good hit to the head, he might be able to kill any of those girls.
"How long have I been here… How long have I been out?" He asked, trying to stop his hands from shivering. He looked at his shaky hands and realized that it was similar to how he reacted when he was near Thalia, but he wasn't even close to Damon, but he was shaking.
"About a day… we used up nearly our daily resource of herbs on you…." The maid replied, causing Edmudn to gulp at just hearing it. That many herbs were enough to heal someone who had encountered near death, and he could still feel that he hadn't fully recovered. "He could have killed me…." He whispered before he listened to the door nob moving, causing him to look at the door.
As it opened, he tightened his fist while biting on his teeth anxiously before he saw Philip entering the room; his expression showed all the relief that he had at the moment.
"You're finally awake," Philip said, looking glad that his loyal butler was finally awake.
"I'm sorry, sir… I didn't punish him like how you wanted him to…."
Philip shook his head, "Never mind about that, forget about it. I just want to know if Damon really did change a lot… How is his strength?" He asked.
