To begin, a brief introduction to the speculations of your origin. As there are no active influences beyond those of the cosmic normal, it is safe to assume your creator(s) are long gone, be it dead or departed. Furthermore, there are no markers within the akashic layer to indicate which factions or individuals played a hand in your creation, giving rise to the idea that it was never intended to be a long project.

Factors that suggest this was not formed through sheer chance include structures that inhibit certain aspects of common reality. These include the aggressive dissipation of forming divinity, and the complete lack of effect most faith-based actions have. There’s also the throttling of mystical energies such as mana and qi to be the absolute minimum required for intelligent life. Spiritual energies decay rapidly, much more so than should occur, leading to no undead and highly reduced longevity of spiritual constructs. The complete absence of other esoteric energies and seeming isolation from most realms and layers helps consolidate the idea this realm was created rather than naturally formed.

Taking both into account, your universe was created and subsequently neglected, left to do its own thing, with little more than the bare minimum required. Anything you do is wholly dependant on yourselves and the society around you.

Mentioned earlier, there are no ‘active influences.’ That doesn’t discredit your religions, it just means they are completely useless. I can think of 12 major deities similar to your Christian god, and at least a hundred similar to your Buddha. Not to mention the classical ‘mythology,’ there’s no way to count the myriad major gods that fit all those characteristics, let alone the minor ones and those in-between. So don’t give up, your god(s) may have your salvation yet, they just don’t act. (Fun fact, there’s at least one god that agrees with the Ku Klux Klan! Good thing It (though It prefers He (It’s quite sexist so we say It to mess with It (divine politics))) is persecuted across the known extended multiverse.)

Your universe is made up entirely of matter and its permutations. There are some extra energies to give it a bit of a kick and encourage sentience, but not enough to truly impact anything. You’re even missing life-force. Without going into detail, it’s astounding you’ve evolved at all, and is the main reasons sacrificial rituals have little to no effect.
