Took a break to deal with life events and other projects. This story was supposed to be a trilogy, but it wasn't coming out well, so I scrapped it and rewrote more than 70% of it. Now that the new draft is done, I'll post it here (few chapters a day for the next two weeks or so).

The story is about 90k words long, so standard novel length. If you followed the story previously, you'll notice chapters removed or changed, but the framework is about the same until the party reaches meets the Ottoman Sultan. Some of the characters were renamed (Luke > John, Paul > Marcion) and some removed entirely (Red, the useless pirate). The POV has been changed from 1st person/3rd POV mix, to regular 3rd POV to help make the last chapters flow better. We lose some of Rika's colorful internal ranting, but I think it works out.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

Also, the story is now a direct (standalone) prequel to Polyglot, so if you've read that, you might get your mind blown toward the end.
