Sapphire: Kippo, Mud Shot!

A Mudkip would hop into the air, after the demand of their trainer, as it generated a blob of mud in front of its mouth that would go blasting towards the enemy pokemon, in this case -- it was a Rattata. The Rattata would take the mud shot head-on, only shaking off the remaining mud on its body after the attack, it seemed to take very little damage, The Rattata's trainer laughed, swiping his thumb under his nose as he glared his opponent in the eyes

Youngster: Rattatta can easily take those kinds of attacks! It's the top percentage after all!

Sapphire: Kippo, water gun!

Youngster: Rattata, Hyper Fang!

Rattata ran towards the opposing Mudkip, as it aimed to claw it down with its massive teeth, but the Mudkip avoided the attack, blasting a beam of water at the Rattata, the Rattata would go flying. Joey would then run away from his opponent, to go look for his pokemon

Youngster: Aww man, I'll be back! With my top percentage Rattata!

And then, he was gone. Mudkip would then run towards its trainer, as the trainer wrapped their arms around Mudkip, hugging it close, giving it a light kiss.

Sapphire: Good work, Kippo!

Mudkip: "Mudkip!!"

Mudkip would jump onto its trainer's face, as its trainer laughed, and placing Mudkip on top of their head. The trainer was female, a young who has long brown hair with a single fringe at the center with three edges secured by a red and white kerchief, and blue eyes with long eyelashes. Her single fringe on her long brown hair is very indentical to her mother. She wears a red shirt with a navy blue semi-circle on it, a yellow fanny pack, white and navy gloves, a white mini skirt over dark blue cycle shorts, and black ankle socks along with red shoes with black and yellow stripes. She would pat Mudkip's head, as the girl would head towards Odale town, she removed a device from her pouch and began to analyze it, swiping her finger on the device's screen, it listed some Pokemon -- but most of the screen was taken over with question marks.

Sapphire(Thoughts):Well. . .I'm a Pokemon Trainer. I've got this Pokemon from my father, and thanks to Kippo....I can go anywhere now. But, what should I do? Complete the Pokedex? That would be the right way to pay my father back for the Pokemon...But I could go into the competitive life and aim to become a Pokemon Champion...that sounds pretty cool, but is that the kind of life I want?

The girl would continue thinking, as her eyes were focused on the ground below -- her Pokemon Kippo tossed its head down, titling its head as it stared into her eyes

Sapphire: Hm? Oh, sorry about that Kippo....I dozed off.

Mudkip: "Sa...."

Sapphire: Huh! Oh, Kippo! Kippo! Come on you can do it, Say my name. Say Sapphire!

Mudkip: "S...Sa....Sap. Sap! Sapkip! Sa....Sap."

Sapphire laughed, she adored her little Mudkip. She would begin walking, heading down a route on the left side of the town. She would sneak her way through the grass, she wasn't interested in catching any Pokemon in the area -- yet. Soon, she'd dash her way out of the Route, and into Petalburg City -- only to quickly leave that city into woods.

Sapphire: Kippo, all we have to do now is make our way out of these woods and we'll be winning our first badge! Kippo, use water gun on t-"

???: Sapphireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. There's a time and place for everything, this isn't the time to use thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!

Sapphire: Huh? Dad? How come I hear you?

Prof. Birch: ecause I'm yeeeeeeeelliiiiiiiiiiiiiiing."

Professor Birch would run towards Sapphire, as he seemed pretty tired, Sapphire had a puzzled look on her face, her father would pat Sapphire's head, and he would begin to take light steps through the grass, turning back to his daughter with a large smile on his face

Prof. Birch: Come on, follow me!

Sapphire would also begin taking light steps through the grass as well, then they would come across a horde of Pokemon. Four Poochyenaes, and one Mightyena. Mudkip and Sapphire would silently gasp, as her father laughed.

Prof. Birch: You see that? These pokemon aren't normally found here! Hey, you should try to catch that Mightyena!

Sapphire: Alright...I'll do my best, dad!

As Sapphire took a Pokeball from her pouch, but the Mightyena would soon run away, the Poochyenaes would run in separate directions. Sapphire would then run after the Mightyena, the Mightyena seemed to be slowing down, and as Sapphire had gotten closer the Mightyena, it would quickly turn around and quickly jump over Sapphire's head, with its fangs wide out. With Sapphire paralyzed in fear, she can't move! The Mightyena bites onto Mudkip, and spitting it out on the ground. A laughter could be heard, Sapphire began to shake just a little bit, and it seemed as if a grunt, a robber. The grunt wore a black cap with a strange symbol on it. He wore a light blue and white stripped shirt, and pants that are ripped to look like pants. He had a slim grin on his face, as she balled her hands into fist -- her Mudkip jumped back on its feet. Mudkip would then run back to Sapphire, glaring down their opponents.

???: Alright Mightyena, go -- Get The Professor's Briefcase!

Sapphire: What, no! Kippo, use Water gun on Mightyena!"

Mudkip would generate a beam of water in front of its mouth, but Mudkip was quickly tossed away by Mightyena, Professor Birch would then blink seeing Mightyena approach him, he would then spread a smile on his face, as he opened his arms

???: That's right, Mightyena! Come to Papa."

The Mightyena would then bite onto Professor Birch's pouch, Professor Birch would attempt to pull his case out of Mightyena's grasp, but it would end with Mightyena crushing open his pouch, as three Pokeballs would pop out and go flying! The Grunt would then run towards Mightyena, with Sapphire right behind him

???: Alright, All we gotta do now is get these Rare Pokemon, and then our mission is Compl-

Summer:YOO, RICK. DID YOU GET THE DEVON GOODS?"

Ricky: The what now?"

A female grunt would then run towards Ricky, as she would look at him in the eyes, a little pissed off

Summer: THE DEVON GOODS. YOU KNOW, WHAT OUR BOSS NEEDS FOR SOME REASON. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GET IT FROM THE SCIENTIST THAT COMES INTO PETALBURG WOODS FROM TIME TO TIME!"

Ricky: Ummmmm.....

Summer: . . . .

Ricky: . . .

Summer: . . .

Summer: Let's go.

Ricky: Okay......

The Grunt would walk away, carrying two Pokeballs, as his Mightyena dropped a Pokeball in its owner's hand, and Ricky would return Mightyena into its Pokeball.

Sapphire: Dad. . .are you okay?

Prof. Birch: Yeah, I'm okay! I just need to get my Pokemon back! That Mightyena broke open my bag!

Sapphire: I'll go get them back for you!

Sapphire would run around Petalburg woods, she was fortune enough to find a pokeball, however it was curled up in the grip of a Wurmple. Sapphire wouldn't go to attack the Wurmple, but rather to pick it up, and grab the Pokeball from it, then place the Wurmple back down, she would then find another Pokeball not too far away from her father -- she would return the Pokeballs she found back to her dad.

Sapphire: Here you go, Dad. But...I'm sorry, I couldn't find that last one....

Prof. Birch: That's more than alright Sapphire, thank you -- I really appreciate it!

Sapphire:I just don't know where the last one could be.... you know what, Dad? I'm going to get that Pokemon back!

Prof. Birch: What? Sapphire, no. Don't put yourself in danger, it's alright real-

Sapphire: LATER!

And with that, Sapphire ran away from her dad, soon she would leave Petalburg woods in pursuit of finding Ricky

Prof. Birch: And, she's gone. Sapphire, Oh Sapphire. What am I going to do with you?
