Chapter 10- My rules

Chapter 10- My rules!

Nexon’s journal: Zones

If we want everything to be categorized into neat denominations, the Unova region, and every region with some exceptions, could be divided into four types of categories.

From least to most dangerous there is Civilization, which refers to the town and city, or more generously areas where humans live. Pokemons found in the area are usually docile and can even be considered to live in symbiosis with humans.

Then we have the Routes; those are areas that are closely monitored as they ensure the connection between settlements. If any dangerous or aggressive pokemon are found on the Routes, they are usually relocated. Although they tend to avoid humans by themselves unless they are actively looking for trainers. The Routes are frequently used by civilians and trainers alike.

The next category is referred to as Off Routes. They are kind of in between areas, slightly out of the way to be on the Routes but not completely wild either. The areas are still regulated but less strictly, usually by Pokemon Rangers responsible for the area. If a dangerous pokemon is identified they are usually left alone, but a note is made of their rough territory and Trainers are made aware of its existence for their safety. Most of these pokemon are content keeping to themselves but trainers going out of their way to provoke them will be held accountable. Civilians avoid these types of areas while Trainers are a common sight.

The final classification is the Wilderness. These are territory that few humans dare to traverse and are mostly fully unexplored. The presence of rangers is so limited to be considered negligible so venturing in these areas is restricted for security concerns. If a trainer ignores that and ‘disappears’ it is on them. The wilderness is home to powerful pokemon with their own territory.

The farther you go from Civilization the stronger the pokemons you will encounter. Whether humans stayed away from these areas or if these areas formed away from humans is anyone's guess.

It took us being on the road for Seraphina to remember that we were supposed to have a battle. Unfortunately for her we were now on a timer to reach Castelia City. That was because although Seraphina was fine because she was essentially one of the ‘researchers’- more like assistant- I was very much not. In order to avoid delays they asked us to come one day before the departure, which was in three weeks’ time. It takes one week on the boat from Virbank to Castelia, where the meeting is. Adding to that the time needed to reach Virbank in the first place, and then the waiting time to face Roxie, we were in a real hurry.

This translated into a pace where the faster we were the better. Meaning the only time when we could battle without affecting our pace was once we reached Virbank. Of course, we continue our training for our pokemons, but we focus more on moves. With her second Fire Gem, Nike went back to training Mystical Fire when she is not on my head. In addition, after she insisted on it, we started to work on Psybeam. Seraphina also seemed to be working with Litleo, focusing on Fire Fang to counter the Venipede of Roxie. Shinx and Skoll were also working on their move, Spark and Bullet Punch respectively.

That’s right he was familiar enough with Metal Claw to move to the next stage. When he suspiciously managed to use the Bullet Punch once, I asked and turns out he was training in secret since before the Aspertia Gym. Pops’ Gallade seemed to have known it and even helped. And so, with our goals in mind the trek toward Virbank continued.

Two days onto the road to Virbank, we found a glistening pond and decided unanimously to take a break. It seemed to come from an underground source because there was no obvious source for it. There were a large variety of pokemon gathered around the lake, even some that I did not think would be present based on the game. For instance there was a group of Cottonee giggling and floating amidst the Tailwind created by a Whimsicott. I could also spot some Blitzle and Zebstrika. Surprisingly no one was fighting or even gave any hint of fighting, not even the Sawsbuck that are notoriously more aggressive during the Autumn season.

This was the reason we stopped here today. Even if we were in a hurry, we would still be able to reach Virbank tomorrow according to Mathew. Having the ranger with us definitely helped us. Not only was he used to moving in the wilderness, without him present we wouldn’t even have been able to find this place given how far from the road it was. Speaking of him, the two days spent with him revealed that he only has four pokemon. Not wanting to poke further, I did not ask further but I was internally very curious as to why. His third pokemon was a Sawsbuck which is also why I now know that the autumn form is especially grumpy. Both Seraphina and I were asked to give him his space for that reason. Even if he is well trained and will not attack us it is uncomfortable for him.

Once we stepped past the tree line, we received a couple of wary glances, but most of the pokemons ignored us. A curious Whimsicott even came to us resulting in hilarious pictures of Seraphina with a cotton-made perm. As it turned out she was just the first victim as I ended up with and afro and Mathew was turned into Rapunzel. We ultimately got rid of the cotton haircut and released the rest of our pokemons while we set up camp.

After we were done, I sat and watched my pokemons play with some of the wild pokemons in the area. Nike was trying to float higher under the encouragement of the Cottonee, Skoll was busy punching a tree, Litleo was sleeping and Shinx seemed to be particularly interested in the herd of Blitzes and Zebstrikas. Seraphina was forced to intervene several times to the mounting frustration of Shinx. Yet, inevitably, at some point she was too distracted until it was too late.

“Shinx come back!” I heard Seraphina Scream before I saw what was happening.

Shinx had made her way toward the group of Blitzle. That was not the problem. The problem was the Zebstrikas, which unfortunately was one of the less well behave species. Lightning sparked between their horns and between each other as a clear sign of warning. After hearing Seraphina’s scream, Shinx actually stopped and turned around. Yet her playful expression did not disappear, and she bounded toward the herd.

With their warning ignored the Zebstrikas changed their position. They neatly formed a row between Shinx and the Blitzles and without hesitation, let bolts of electricity toward Shinx, causing a cry of pain from the kitten. The world seemed to slow down as it all happened. I could see Seraphina reach for Shinx’s ball, but it was clear that she would not reach it in time. The only one capable of taking the bolts, Mathew’s Amphaross started in her direction. Yet the strangest reaction was Litleo’s who stayed on the ground and simply opened one eye.

Then everything accelerated once more. One second, we were all enjoying ourselves and now, Shinx was on the ground… or so I thought. It was clear that the sensation of being wrapped in electricity was not necessarily pleasant even for an electric type, yet she stood. Shaking, but standing, nonetheless. I also heard Mathew whistle which cause the Amphaross to stop. I was puzzled until I noticed that the electricity hitting Shinx was not the only source of light.

“No way…” Seraphina exhaled with her hand falling limp with the ball in it.

What she said pretty much summarized what was happening. While Shinx was taking the electricity, she started emitting light on her own that covered her entire body. I was particularly interested since it was my first time seeing an evolution from a leisurely position. The light that coated her stopped unnaturally and just looking a couple of centimeters off, there was no light while looking straight at the phenomenon almost blinded you. It left me still able to the form of the pokemon shift, however.

Under the light, Shinx’s body grew taller and visibly more powerful. Her identifiable star-shaped tail lengthened while a small tuff of mane grew around her head. The next moment, the light dissipated, revealing Shinx’s- no Luxio’s new form. She still had that feline grace that is so identifiable. On the front legs, the single band of yellow fur situated on her ankle double with a second one being higher on the leg. On her heard the once blue tuff of hair now formed a black mane giving her a much more intimidating appearance, with part of it falling over her legs.

“LUXIOOOO” She let out an echoing shout through the clearing.

The few pokemon that were present watch the happenings before going back to their business as if nothing happened. Luxio for her part, proceeded to launch Thunder Shock one after the other toward the Blitzes and Zebstrikas in what I thought was retaliation. Yet I saw the herd passing the electricity along before moving back. Taking this as her cue, Shinx- I mean Luxio took off running toward Seraphina. Arceus, this will take some time to get used to. Thankfully I won’t run into that given that all of my pokemon will get a nickname. Hehe!

Meanwhile Seraphina was tackled to the ground and assaulted by a vicious face licking and her laughter resounded through the encampment. Litleo, who was previously sleeping got up and tried to push Luxio off. Unfortunately for him, the added bulk of the evolved pokemon meant that his effort was useless, which judging by the smug expression of Luxio she was enjoying thoroughly much to his frustration.

“Ok, ok enough!” Seraphina said amidst laughter. “Congratulations on the evolution Luxio! I am very proud of you! However, don’t think you will get off that easy. Why did you run off like that? What if they charged you? And also, I told you to keep your distance while we were working. And...”

The purring sound that Luxio started to emit when she was congratulating her quickly vanished as she continued and by the time was halfway done, the star was already touching the ground as all of her body started to droop. I got closer and exchanged looks with Mathew who had a similarly difficult expression. After this went on for a while, he attempted to intervene but a tear-filled glare sent him back to me.

“I tried. Your turn kiddo.”

“Wait hold up, what do you mean my turn?” I asked incredulously.

I never agreed to interfere in that. Actually, I could sympathize with Seraphina. Zebstrika is a species known for its temper. If my pokemon ignored my opinion to stay put and got close, I would also get angry and worried. Even if it was to voluntarily trigger an evolution. And although it was not the case for Luxio given what Nana and Pops told me, triggering an evolution too early for a pokemon can be detrimental.

“Hate!”

Nike, who stopped playing with the Cottonees, apparently had something to say. When I focused on her, I could feel her trying to tap into my mind, but she failed. Although in terms of raw power she had surpassed me, her control was not advance enough to get past the defense I always maintain. Eventually I won’t have to, since she can set up one for me, meaning I won’t have to keep it in check …as much.

Back on topic, I was forced to ask her what she wanted to do because she kept prodding my mind. I dropped some of the defenses eventually to better focus on what she wanted. Communication was hard given that we were not talking yet, but through guess work, gestures and emotions I figured it out and sighed.

“Er Seraphina, maybe I can help?” I said walking to her.

She glared at me as well, but I still tried to explain what Nike wanted to do. I myself was not really fond of the idea but she was insistent, so I agreed in the end. I explained to Seraphina that Nike wanted to help and somehow that calmed her enough to consider.

“What do you mean and how?”

“So, the short explanation is, the mind of pokemon and humans are different. Normally psychic type pokemon match the human when communicating, but in this case, Nike is too young and so we will both act as the bridge.” I said simply.

“Bridge?” She raised an eyebrow at that.

I nodded. “From Luxio to Nike, Nike to me and me to you. It might be …a bit uncomfortable at first but I think it can help because I guarantee you that laying that much on her is not going to be good. At least we can help her understand your point of view. Of course, you don’t have to, it’s just Nike wanted to help.”

I again showed how it was Nike’s idea, simply because sharing emotions like that would mean that I would need to interact, although very lightly, with her mind. Which was illegal without consent. It’s a law that concerns both pokemon and psychic in this case.

After thinking, a repeated looking at her partner who seemed very down Seraphina nodded. Seeing that I got close while Nike floated down from my head. After explaining to Luxio, she made me hold onto her pseudo-limb hair and touch her antenna to the pokemon’ s head.

“Just take my hand and close your eyes. It will make it more bearable.” I told her as we sat with our pokemon.

After she took my hand, I let go of the control I have on my ability and was surprised. It’s been a while since I did this since we were traveling in group. If I were to describe my hold on my ability it would be like covering a box with a lid. I usually have my hand on the lid, and by experience, even when asleep my hold is only slightly reduced. Now however what I experienced was as if the whole box had become bigger.

I shook my head and focused on it later. For now, I grasped on the tendril coming from Nike and just let it flow. Honestly, the sensation was far from pleasant for me as well. Rushes of emotions for someone who always had to have his emotion in check was strange.

From Luxio’s side the emotion were actually very simple. First of all, there was the confidence that, what she did would have worked no matter what. I don’t know when, but it seemed that she came to an understanding with the herd and was sure that it would work. The second main emotion was the excitement of evolution and expectations of her companions’ reactions. Then came the disappointment and sadness after she had been scolded by who she considered to be her closest friend.

From Seraphina’s side the rush of emotion was more muddled and violent than I expected. From the happiness of the evolution to the anger of the danger her pokemon put herself into, to the anxiety of the ‘what ifs’ scenarios and the worry for her partner. And all of that was mixed with the reluctance to scold her but the understanding that it was necessary. The wide range of emotions from high to low affected me more than expected and it was not long before a headache forced me to let go of the hand I was holding, breaking the connection.

Before I had time to gather myself, darkness crept and covered my vision. I did not even know if I was standing or on the ground, but the last thing I saw was Nike rushing toward me.

---

“Ugh”

The first sound that escaped my lips was a groan of exertion. I had to struggle to open my eyes but once I did, the familiar ceiling of my tents came into focus.

What happened? The last thing I remember was…

I did not get to finish the thoughts before memories came rushing in. Shinx’s evolution into Luxio, the emotional link between Luxio, Nike, Seraphina and I. The intense flood of emotion and the contact of my head against the ground. all of these memories came back in a fraction of a second.

Thankfully the headache had somewhat subsided, and I was able to groggily stand up. Or tried to, since I quickly noticed that my two companions were huddled against me. My movement woke them up and they hurriedly jumped on me. Yes, even Skoll.

I reassured them that everything was fine and while that was enough to calm Skoll, Nike continued to stick to me unwilling to let go. Reflexively, I tried to understand her emotions by reaching out but I felt her recoil, letting only a sliver of emotion through. Guilt.

Does she think that its her fault that I was unconscious?

“Nike,” I started, “You know it’s not your fault, right?”

She ignored me and shook her head violently. I sighed. Sure, I did not know what the cause was, but I don’t think the problem comes from Nike. If anything, it probably originated from my side.

I noticed it earlier as well, but the range that my ability covers seemed to have increased compared to the last time I checked. Because I was always with Seraphina since pretty much when I caught Skoll, I always restrained my ability instead of doing it only when other people are around. Rather because Seraphina was always around, I ended up always restraining them.

As opposed to before I found myself in this world, the psychic abilities seemed more like a muscle rather than a simple ‘gift’. It’s also why I started training them with Nike, but I did not expect them to grow that easily. If I had to guess that was probably the cause for fainting. After I explained this to Nike, she seemed to calm down somewhat but that did not erase the guilt I felt after she stopped shying away from my mental touch.

With Nike finally calmed and Skoll too awake to go to sleep, I decide to go out. I was surprised to see that the sky was starting to gain a slight pinkish tint. Looking east, the sun was rising, meaning I was out for at minimum the entire night. I don’t even want to consider that I was out for more than a full day.

I quickly made my way to the lake, making as little noise as possible to avoid waking the others. Mathew Sawsbuck ended up lifting his head to look at me but went back to sleep when he noticed it was me.

The pokemon that were previously here were now completely absent, presumably asleep. I sat on the edge with my feet in the water. Nike positioned herself on my folded legs while Skoll got comfortable next to me. I took advantage that no one was around to completely let go of my hold and spread my senses. It was fascinating and also kind of liberating to no longer restrain it, similar to when you moved an arm after leaving it in the same position,

I sat there and enjoy what was probably the most beautiful sunrise I remember seeing. There were no clouds, leaving me to enjoy the scenery in silence with my pokemons and the slow transition of the colors in the sky. Slowly but surely, the forest started to wake up and I realized that the lake was inhabited by some water types. Deerlings came out of the forest eying me but otherwise ignoring me.

“How are you feeling?”

The sudden voice made me want to jump out of my skin and I hurriedly stood up. I turned away just to meet Mathew in what seemed to be sport outfits. He already started stretching but I had no mind to pay to that.

“How did I not feel you?” I ended up blurting out lout.

I stared wide-eyed at him. I still had my influence spread around me and yet, even with that and him standing right in front of me I could not feel him at all. It is not even as if there was a void moving, just … nothing different between him and the ground.

He cocked and eyebrow and looked at me as if I had said something stupid. That is until Mandibuzz clacked her beak in what was a bit too similar to a laugh, which caused him to give me an amused look. Here I was even more puzzled because when Mandibuzz entered what I would call the territory of my abilities, while I could not feel her, I at least could know that she was there due to how the Dark type pushes psychic away. Yet Mathew felt more like he did not exist at all.

“I am guessing you can’t feel me and wonder why?” at that my eyes widened even more. “Kid please! Even if psychics are rare, they are not that rare that you never meet them. And after the stunt you pulled last night? Any doubts I had were blown.”

He laughed merrily while I felt embarrassment reflecting on my face. Sure, I never really hid it but I never stated it either so having it pointed out like this is strange.

“To go back to your question, did you never meet a dark type user?” he asked as he pointed to Mandibuzz.

I shook my head. “To begin with I usually control it when people are around me because constantly having influx of emotion is torture. And also, I cand still identify her, but you are invisible.”

“Ah is that how it manifests for you? Interesting. Regardless, that’s why. Sorry for startling you.”

Mathew then walked away and continued stretching while I went back to my pokemon and thought about the interaction. It is illogical but I am bothered by the fact that I can’t sense anything from him. It’s like the difference between not being able to do something and being able to but denied. I would not go as far as intruding and try to force the issue, but I guess human nature is something else altogether.

We sat for a few minutes before Skoll started to get antsy, so I got up to stretch as well and begin the training. By now the headache was completely gone, but not forgotten. Halfway through our warm-up, Seraphina emerged from her tent and rushed to me as soon as she saw me.

“Nexon?! How are you feeling?” worry was etched on her face as she asked that.

“I am fine don’t worry.” I gave her a reassuring smile, but it went nowhere.

“Are you sure? You were out cold for hours. I am really sorry about that. I don’t even know how to apologize…”

“it’s fine don’t worry. It’s not your fault. But tell me, how is Luxio?”

Just then the not small anymore pokemon came out of the tent and arched back while letting out a jaw popping yawn. She ran to us a tackled me similar to what she had done with Seraphina the day before.’

“Yeah, we made up. After we put you to bed and made sure everything was fine, we went to our tent. Thanks to you we were able to understand each other’s positions. While what she did was reckless, in the end she did it to get stronger for our sake. She also understood why I was mad at her. Really thank you so much!”

“Haha Luxio stop! That’s nothing. if anything you should thank Nike she is the one who insisted we tried it.” I admitted as I pushed Luxio off me.

“Trust me we tried but she was so focused on you and after that she would not leave you. Thank you, Nike. “

“It’s good that you guys are done chatting, but should we not get moving? I assume you want to be done as early as possible?” Mathew interjected. “I’m done packing, I’ll take a look around while you get ready. Come on, chop chop!”

Just as he said, he and his pokemon started to patrol the area, probably because of how used they were to the ranger lifestyle while Seraphina and I dismantled the tents. Nike helped me by levitating some parts, so I was done faster. Skoll helped me make sure that we left nothing behind and later Litleo made sure the fire we used for breakfast was put out.

All in all it took us maybe one or two hour after the sun rose but we were making our way toward Virbank City. We were back on the Route after a while, and a few hours later, before the sun reached its zenith, we were at the entrance of Virbank. The travel was short because we made sure to avoid any battles on the way.

While we were a bit tired and ready to give up everything for a real bed, we decided that it was probably wiser to go to the gym first. And I must say the entrance surprised me. I knew that in the games the entrance to the gym was tucked almost inconspicuously between two buildings, but I didn’t expect it to be reflected here.

If not for the symbol of the gym hung at the front and because Seraphina, who was a local brought us here, I might have missed it entirely. The building, and I was generous enough to call that, looked more like a small wooden cabin made of stone. Stepping in, we were greeted by stairs immediately, showing that the actual field was also underground.

Once at the bottom of the stairs an unassuming desk stood at the center of the room. The man seated there looked like he could be managing a rock group rather than a receptionist for the arena. He wore a suit and his blond hair parted on both sides of his head. The room was empty surprisingly with no other trainers.

“Hello and welcome to the Virbank City Gym. How can I help you?” he asked with a business smile on his face.

“Hello, we would like to make an appointment for the Gym battle. When is the earliest opening?”

“Ah I see give me a minute. Please take a seat.” He pointed at a row of seat behind us so we waited.

Curiously after a while a young woman exited from behind the counter and started to talk with the receptionist. They seemed to be in a full-on conversation, and I was getting irritated because of the wait since no one was here. On top of that she kept shooting glance in our direction. Or more specifically at Seraphina.

“Hey Seraphina. Do you know that woman?” I nudged her until she lifted her eyes from her documentary.

“Hum? what woma- ughg why her…” she groaned before she explained. “She is one of the trio in Roxie’s band, Koffing and the Toxic. And unfortunately, she might the one to register us for the gym…”

“Why do you say unfortunately?”

As if on cue my answer came from the front. Now that she was closer, I could see the make-up on her face to give her a more stereotypical rocker look. Combined with her black eyes and her black hair gathered in a single ponytail on the side, I have to say that she looked the part.

“Well look who it is, if it’s not our statue of the year! Ahah!” she sneered toward Seraphina who stiffened. “Oh, and what’s that instead of training you went and got not one but two boyfriends? I hope you don’t freeze also when- “

“Whoah, chill woman. Don’t say something that you won’t be able to take back.” Ranger Mathew interjected at this point. “Look I am sure you have a lot to say, but can we please just get a date for the gym for both of them? Traveling is not very relaxing you see.”

“Why you-“

Before she could continue, the door to the side opened up. As soon as it did the sound of music and distant cheer came through which surprised me since I did not even hear the noise of far away music. Out game a girl and when the door closed it was silence again. The girl was Roxie, the gym leader. She wore a long purple and blue shirt with the shoulders open while massive boots covered her feet. She was immediately recognizable by her white hair facing the sky and her guitar in the back.

“Billy! What is taking so long, we are about to start, and we need you. Come on already.” She spoke in a relax tone but with obvious frustration and the woman who I assumed was Billy turned around to talk to her.

“Come on Rox, you are gonna want to see who came to challenge to Gym again.” she said as she laughed and moved to the side.

Once she did Roxie walked closer and saw the two of us seated with Mathew standing up and glaring at Billy. Seraphina for her part gritted her teeth so much that I thought she might break them. Yet to my surprise, Roxie’s reaction was the opposite of what the woman seemed to expect.

“sigh… Billy I already told you to stop doing that. Trust me, I don’t want the League on my backside again. Why don’t you go back first?”

There was silence at that moment. Just when I thought that she would double down, she walked away.

“Tch! Whatever.” We all watched her I she went through the same door Roxie came out of.

“Sorry about her, she can be a bit toxic. Pun intended. How are you doing… Seraphina right?”

“Wait huh?” that snapped her back and Roxie laughed.

“don’t be surprised. Not many locals attempt this gym first, so I remember you. Also, not to be mean but that match was also…memorable.” She trailed off at that and Seraphina let out a sigh.

With Seraphina in that mood, I decided to finally speak up.

“Yes, we would like to challenge the gym for our second badges.”

“Hatenna!” Nike on my head repeated and lifted her hair to declare our intention.

Roxie demeanors change completely as soon as she saw Nike. And went from indifferent professional to excited.

“Wait this pokemon is from Galar right?! I know it is I remember seeing one.”

“Huh yes, she is.” I wanted to ask about the gym but something else caught my attention. “wait there is another trainer with a Hatenna?” I asked, getting excited myself. But she shook her head.

“No no! it’s not like that. I had a tour in Galar and saw one there. If I remember correctly, they are fairy type right?” She asked still existed.

It’s true that she is a Rockstar in the end so I should not be surprised that she went on tours. But still, to go to Galar. I didn’t expect her fanbase to be so large. Before I could reply, Roxie’s eyes lit up.

“Say I have a proposition for the gym battle. How do you feel about a two on one? You guys travel together, right?”

“What?” Both Seraphina and I exclaimed.

A two versus one in a gym battle I never heard of that. Ever. And so obviously, we voiced our concern.

“Is that even allowed?” I asked.

“Bah! It’s my gym, my Rules!” she declared.

“Even so why?” Seraphina asked.

Here Roxie was a bit embarrassed before she gathered herself.

“Ah huh… well I want to use a partner I caught I Galar against a pokemon from Galar” she said. “But that might be a bit much. If you accept, I will use two stronger pokemon for a second badge against your four. I know think of it a sort of mini raid.”

“Huh that’s a bit much, no?” I asked hesitantly. “Wouldn’t people complain?”

“As I said, my gym, my rules. So, what say you?” she asked expectantly.

Seraphina and I discussed the pros and the cons of going with that format but in the end we accepted. We never fought together but from the training and other matches we can kind of guess what the other will do. Plus, she can’t use pokemon that strong right? so why not.

“We accept” Seraphina said in the end.

“What about the date?” I asked.

“How about a week from now? You will need all the time you can get to be ready to face me after all.” She grinned.

One week… that was cutting it close but… I don’t think we have the luxury since we already agreed to it. Plus, if my suspicion was correct, we might actually need it. And so, we agreed to face Gym leader Roxie in a two versus one in one week time. I will need to discuss with Seraphina about my thoughts and asked for her opinions, then train together and our companions… this week might actually be really fun.

--

As soon as she stepped past the door, her companion was waiting for her.

“How did it go?” she asked with a smile.

“Better than I thought actually.” Roxie replied with a smile.

Roxie was proud of herself. Ever since Elite Caitlin called her, she had made dozens of scenarios on how to get under the skin of the trainer but as it turned out, she did not need to. During the first report when they said the species of his partner, she did not pay attention and thought that it was just another foreigner.

She honestly regretted not listening at that time. It would have saved her hours of thinking! Regardless she made her call to the Elite four member to let her know of the date.

Unfortunately for the young man, he will have to try his luck another time to get her badge. Attempting a Poison gym, Her Poison gym with a fairy type was tantamount to giving up before moving to the field.

As for the girl? She beat her once already, right? anyone who wanted her badge will have to prove they deserved it.

But I must say I can’t wait for the battle. I am sure he will also be excited.
