I looked at the rough-looking guy who was leading us somewhere through a narrow passageway, but no matter how hard I tried to remember I don’t remember seeing him in any of the pokemon games.

‘Maybe he was a normal grunt?’ But that doesn’t seem like a possibility due to his Pokemon level and his position, ‘Could be a hidden character or… maybe not everything is like the game world.’

“That would be a little troublesome.” Because if it was different from the game world then my knowledge would be not that useful for future events.

“You said, something kid?” Hearing my mutter, Zack looked at me curiously while also observing the kids around us.

“Hmm, I was just curious about the boss guy.” With no other option remaining right now, I tried my hands at getting some information out of Zack even with a low success rate.

“Honestly, even the lower position guys don't know much about our boss either, as he hardly talks to us except for job-related work so I just know as much as you do about him.” Not getting the answer I was expecting, I frowned while looking at the boss guy, ‘Hmm maybe he is playing that mysterious character guy from the movies?’

‘I guess I can't get much info about him but didn’t expect this guy to even tell me something.’

As I looked toward Zack, he can be seen talking with other kids and trying to get some personal info out of them, ‘Maybe he is not dumb as he looks.’

“Hey, how long do we have to walk to get our pokemon?” We have been walking for about five minutes but we still haven’t reached our destination and just have been walking in this narrow street.

“Oh, right now we are dealing with some bugs, gotta wait a few minutes to reach our destination.”

“Oh… alright.” From the word bugs, I somewhat realise what he is referring to as looking around I could see fewer rocket members than earlier with us.

“Oh, you are not gonna ask me the details?”

“You were gonna tell me if I asked?” I looked at him with an annoyed look as I knew what he was trying to do, to which he formed a shit-eating grin on his face, “Of course not, was never gonna answer you.”

“You know kiddo, it’s pretty fun.”

‘Not for me old man.’ I ignored him and for the first time looking at the kids around me to see if I could find familiar faces from the games.

Hmm, there are none at all but three stand out from the rest of the kids which consisted of two girls and a guy, ‘Hmm those two look pretty similar, maybe the girls are twins?’

Both of the girls had red hair and eyes but one had hair that reached to her shoulder and a confident expression on her face whereas the other one had hair that reached to her waist and she had an anxious look on her face, unlike the other girl.

‘And him…’ Whereas for the guy, his eyes were stuck on the girls with a stupid grin on his face, ‘Maybe I should stay away from him.’

‘Also I don’t think that’s a coincidence.’ I looked near all three of them and all of them have rocket grunts near them and it was not just them but me too.

Looking around me all I can see are malnourished kids with no defining characteristic that separate them from the masses where I had this emo look, ‘Either it’s a boon or bane for me.’

“Hope it’s a boon.” As I looked at Zack who was looking back when he suddenly turned at my words but I immediately looked in front to avoid him as it would be troublesome, “Maybe it was the wind.”

Suddenly the crowd of kids in front of me stopped and looking ahead I could see the boss guy looking at us, when he suddenly pulled out a Pokeball from his pocket and when he threw it at the ground a Sableye appeared, ‘Hmm what is this for?’

“Every kid here, close your eyes and until I give the order do not open them and if my sableye sees any open eyes they will be ripped out.” Some kids started to tremble at his threat but everyone quickly closed their eyes including me.

‘Hmm, what is he planning to hide, maybe a secret door?’ As I tried to concentrate on my hearing, I could hear some mechanical sound and I moved closer towards it when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder, “Don’t move kiddo and stay at your place.”

“Sure…” Hearing Zack's voice I stopped in my tracks and tried to recognize this sound and from what I could have guessed it was probably a hidden door.

“Put your hands on the shoulder of the person in front of you and move forward slowly when I give the order but my saybleye should not see any open eyes.” Hearing that, I tried to put my hands on top of the shoulder of the person in front of me and just as my hand touched that person, I could feel them trembling in fear.

“It’s okay, calm down, and just do what that guy says and everything's gonna be alright.” I tried to calm that person down as I don’t want them to faint in front of me and cause an extra commotion.

“Thanks, but what if I accidentally opened my eyes? I don’t want to lose them?” A fearful girlish voice came from the person in front of me and I could feel that her fear was still there, “Hmm, then try not to think about it and instead just imagine something you like.”

“If you say so?” She said in a questioning voice but after a few seconds I could feel that her trembling subsided and I could hear small giggles from her, ‘Hmm that was easier than I expected.’
