Storm of Airia follows the journey of Ven, an 18-year-old boy who gave up on being a Pokemon trainer due to certain circumstances, but with the discovery of a new region, Airia, and its newly established league, Ven is set in motion once more. His father, who is a famous Pokémon trainer, signs Ven up for the Airia league without him knowing. Now Ven and his Gligar, who haven't had a serious Pokémon battle in 8 years, are going up against the most promising trainers from around the world. Along the way, he discovers secrets of the Airia region, meets new rivals, and, of course, Pokémon.
