Chapter 3: "Visions blurred, Red and Blue”

As Talon made his way towards Mt. Moon, the newfound control of Pewter City bolstering his confidence, he encountered a young trainer along the route. The trainer introduced himself as "Blue" with a confident smirk, exuding an air of challenge and determination.

"Hey, you there! I've heard about your antics in Pewter City," Blue declared, his gaze fixed on Talon. "I'm Blue, and I challenge you to a Pokémon battle!"

Talon, initially annoyed by Blue's boldness and referring to him as a "twerp," couldn't resist the opportunity to showcase his strength once again. With a dismissive wave of his hand, he accepted the challenge.

"Fine, Blue. Let's see if you can back up that confidence with your Pokémon," Talon retorted, a smirk playing on his lips as he prepared for the battle ahead.

As the battle between Talon and Blue began, the air was charged with anticipation. Talon, confident in his Pokémon's strength and his own abilities, warned Blue one final time before the clash of Pokémon commenced.

"Are you sure you want to do this, kid? I'm leagues stronger than you," Talon cautioned, his voice laced with a hint of superiority.

Blue, undeterred by the warning, nodded resolutely. "I'll prove that strength isn't everything in a Pokémon battle!"

The battle unfolded in a 1-on-1 style, with each trainer sending out their first Pokémon to face off.

1. Primeape vs. Pidgeotto

Primeape wasted no time, launching into a relentless assault with its Close Combat move. Pidgeotto attempted to evade with Quick Attack, but Primeape's sheer power overwhelmed it, knocking out Pidgeotto in just one hit.

2. Primeape vs. Rattata

Blue, determined to turn the tide, sent out his Rattata next. However, the level difference between Rattata and Primeape was too vast.

Primeape unleashed a devastating Close Combat attack once again, leaving Rattata unable to withstand the onslaught and fainting after just one hit.

3. Primeape vs. Jigglypuff

Primeape, unfazed by the cute appearance of its opponent, focused on its battle instincts. With a powerful Cross Chop, Primeape broke through Jigglypuff's defenses, leaving the Fairy-type Pokémon unable to retaliate and fainting in just one hit.

4. Primeape vs. Ekans

Blue's Ekans, a Poison-type Pokémon with a few tricks up its sleeve, faced Primeape in a last-ditch effort to turn the tide of the battle.

Primeape, determined to finish the battle swiftly, used its Close Combat move once again. Ekans managed to land a Bite attack, but Primeape's strength proved too much, and Ekans fainted after two hits.

5. Primeape vs. Squirtle

With his team dwindling, Blue sent out his Squirtle, hoping its Water-type moves would be able to turn this battle around.

However, Primeape's relentless assault continued. With a powerful Close Combat, Primeape dealt a massive blow to Squirtle, leaving it unable to battle after just one hit.

6. **Primeape vs. Abra**

Blue's last Pokémon, Abra, took the field, its Psychic-type moves holding potential against Primeape's Fighting-type attacks.

However, Primeape's strength and speed were unmatched. With a well-timed Cross Chop, Primeape landed a critical hit on Abra, overwhelming the Psychic-type Pokémon and causing it to faint in just one hit.

With all of Blue's Pokémon defeated, Talon, satisfied with the outcome,

Talon's expression hardened as he looked down at Blue, disappointment evident in his gaze. "Not even worth my time," Talon remarked coldly, his assessment of Blue's Pokémon clear in his mind.

He continued, his voice laced with disdain, "these pokemon are so weak that I don't even feel like stealing one!”

“Next time you even think about challenging Team Rocket remember this defeat."

Blue, held his head high, determination burning in his eyes. "I'll get stronger," he vowed, his resolve unshaken despite the loss. "And next time, I won't lose."

With a final parting remark, Talon turned and started walking away from the battle scene, his words lingering in the air like a warning to anyone who dared to challenge him. "If you face me, you will always lose!" his voice echoed, carrying a sense of finality and authority.

As Talon approached the entrance of Mt. Moon, his cold demeanor and commanding presence drew the attention of nearby Rocket grunts and Admin Silas. The area was abuzz with commotion as Team Rocket members went about their tasks.

Talon's voice cut through the noise, sharp and authoritative. "Admin! Where are you?" he called out, his tone brooking no delay or excuses.

Admin Silas, a loyal member of Team Rocket, immediately stepped forward, recognizing Talon's voice and urgency. "Right here, Talon, Sir." Silas replied, his posture attentive and respectful.

Talon narrowed his eyes as he addressed Admin Silas. "Prepare the team. We're going deeper into Mt. Moon. I want all valuable resources secured, and any interference dealt with swiftly."

Admin Silas nodded,"Understood, Sir. We'll make sure everything is in order.”

Admin Silas, standing before Talon with a respectful demeanor, cleared his throat before addressing Talon.

" Sir, would you like to get caught up on what happened?”

Talon flicks his hand in approval.

Admin Silas, respectful of Talon's authority, provided a concise overview of the events that transpired within Mt. Moon.

"Sir, two intruders made their way into Mt. Moon," Admin Silas began, his tone measured. "The first intruder, known as 'Red' based on eyewitness descriptions, was accompanied by a powerful Charmeleon, a Squirtle, and a Bulbasaur. Their capabilities far surpassed the trainers typically found in Mt. Moon, their coordinated tactics and Pokémon's strengths caused our defeat.

Talon listened intently, his expression stoic. "And the second intruder?" he inquired, his cold demeanor unwavering.

Admin Silas continued, "The second intruder matches the description of the trainer 'Blue' you encountered earlier. He had a Pidgeotto, Rattata, Jigglypuff, Ekans, Squirtle, and Abra. While his skills were comparable to the other child, the Red one led the charge.”

Talon assessing the threats posed by these intruders to Team Rocket's operations.

"Thank you, Silas. We need to strengthen our defenses and be prepared for any future intrusions," Talon declared, his voice firm and decisive.

Admin Silas nodded "We'll reinforce our positions and ensure that Team Rocket's hold on Mt. Moon remains unchallenged," Silas affirmed.

As Talon and Admin Silas approached the opening in the cave where the excavation team was operating, they spotted a trainer fitting the description of the first intruder, 'Red.' The atmosphere grew tense as Talon's cold gaze met Red's determined stare.

Red stood up from the rock, his expression a mix of determination and readiness. Talon wasted no time in asserting Team Rocket's dominance.

"Mt. Moon is now territory owned by Team Rocket," Talon declared with authority, his voice echoing in the cavern. "If you don't want to suffer defeat, you should leave while you still have the chance."

Red, undeterred by the threat, met Talon's gaze with unwavering resolve. "I won't back down from a challenge, especially when it comes to protecting Pokémon and their habitats," Red replied, his voice firm and resolute.

Admin Silas, standing by Talon's side, observed the exchange, ready to support his leader in whatever course of action was necessary to uphold Team Rocket's control over Mt. Moon.

The tension in the air was electric as Talon and Red stood face to face.

"Mt. Moon is ours," Talon declared, his voice carrying an undeniable authority. "Out of respect for your strength, I'll give you this one chance to leave."

Red, recognizing the overwhelming power and dominance of this trainer as well as Team Rocket, made a difficult decision. With a determined yet resigned expression, he picked up his fainted Charmeleon and ran, leaving the cavernous depths of Mt. Moon behind.

Talon watched as Red disappeared into the distance, his cold demeanor unchanged. The victory was undeniable, solidifying Team Rocket's hold on Mt. Moon and furthering their influence in the region.

Admin Silas approached Talon, his expression reflecting a mix of admiration and respect. "Impressive battle, sir," he remarked, acknowledging Talon's strategic prowess and the strength of Team Rocket's Pokémon.

Talon nodded, his focus already shifting to the next phase of their mission. "We've secured Mt. Moon," he stated, his voice carrying a sense of satisfaction. "Let's ensure that I don't need to come back here.”

Talon, utilizing one of Team Rocket's portable PC phone links, swiftly dialed Giovanni's number as he stood just outside Mt. Moon's exit. The connection crackled to life, and Giovanni's voice came through.

"Giovanni speaking," came the authoritative voice from the other end of the line.
