After the bright light that emitted from the lighting rained on the whole of Odale Town went dark. Although none of the lighting actually struck someone, but what it did stike was the town's powerplant, and because of this caused all the power in town to go out. On an empty street stands Billy in the darkness.

"Darn this bloody lightning, now i can't even see clearly in front of me." As Billy said this, he reached towards his back pocket to take out a lighter. "Good thing I stole that guy's lighter before he died."

Holding the lighter in his hand, he stikes but no flame came out. "Damn it, you have got to be kidding me."

Looking down towards the lighter, he kept trying again and again until he finally succeeded as a orange flame came out from the lighter brightening his surroundings.

"Finally this stupid lighter's working..." Saying this, he lifts his head but was frightened at what he saw. As the light of the orange flame brightened the surroundings. It also landed somewhere revealing a scary creature.

The creature has dark purple skin with a roundish body. It has blood red eyes that glows in the night with a wide mouth and weirdly even teeth. It wore a menacing expression on it's face and gave of gloomy vibes as it floats in the air.

Billy was frightened when he saw this creature, because he recognised it instantly.

"Ge..ge..gen." Billy stuttered as he tried to pronounce the creatures name while suppressing his inner fear, but suppressing it was ineffective when the creature interrupted.

Hearing Billy try to say it's name, the creature grinned widely showing it's weirdly even teeth. Wearing a playful expression with the corners of its mouth almost reaching until its eyes, it says in a creepy voice.

"Gengar (Boo!)"

"Ghost!!!" Billy screamed in fear as his face turn pale from fright.

"Kekekekekeke."

Two streets streets away from Billy.

"Char (Who's that??)" Hearing this loud scream, Eren stopped and asked with a confused face.

"It sounded like someone shouting 'ghost'." Dave said while holding a torch in his hand.

"Char charmander (I asked who, not what..just forget it since you don't understand me anyway.)" Eren said in annoyance while thinking to himself as he continued walking. (It's probably just someone afraid of the dark. I'm sure his fine so we should just ignore it. That's probably the last..)

"Aaaah!!! Help ghost!!!" Another desperate cry full of fear sounded interrupting Eren's thoughts.

Hearing this cry reminded Dune of himself. "Trainer's Pokémon I think we..."

"Char (Shut up.)" Eren showed his claws towards Dune, causing Dune's neck to shrink in as he instantly quiteted down. Turning around, he look speechless when he saw the silent May.

Although Eren having known May for only a short period of time. He still knows a couple of characteristics of hers. Such as this one, which probably means she wants to ask him something and knowing her, he probably knows what it is.

(God help me!! Why! Why! I'm not some bloody saint, so why must I save everyone that cries for help.) Thinking this, he stares.

"Char char charmander (Alright I give in, but if anything goes wrong I'll only be responsible for the safety of myself and you..)" Staring for a few seconds he gave in and said helplessly.

Pausing, he glares towards Dune. "Char (..but not him.)"

"Char (let's go for the second time.)" Eren said as while walking towards the source of the cries.

Seeing this, May secretly let's out a smile and follows.

While Dune stared blanky at Eren's back wondering what his previous glare meant.

"Char (Come on already!)" Eren turned his head and glared at Dune.

Dune quickly snapped out of it as he hurried forward while saying "Ah, yes, I'm sorry."

As they walked towards the source of the cries on the other side of town Dan and Skylar were having a hard time coping with there current situation or well not coping at all.
