Then he lashed out and seized Garchomp's gaping maw in an iron grip.

"What a shame, Giovanni. You already spent your Mega Evolution while fighting Jessie and James." Kai said looking down at Giovanni's humiliated figure, "I might have enjoyed a little, fighting with the Mega Evolved Garchomp... But... Now, sigh, he's already dead because of your stupidity."

Kai impassively stood in front of Giovanni as Menace came near him with heavy steps and stood beside him with his intimidating towering figure.

"Now, tell me the location of their headquarters," Kai stated out of nowhere, his tone brooking no argument. "Where is the "Saido" syndicate based?"

Giovanni's head snapped up, eyes widening in shock and sudden fear. "H-How do you know of them?!"

"Well, I have an old grudge to settle," Kai replied evenly. "Your Team Rocket was merely one-fourth of their power. A nuisance to be cleared from my path."

He let that sink in for a moment before continuing. "Last chance. Their location..."

After a moment of silence,

"... Fuck you." Giovanni said full of scorn for his impassive adversary.

When Giovanni remained stubbornly uncooperative, Kai simply shrugged and made a subtle hand gesture towards Tyranitar. The Armor Pokemon responded with a deep rumble, its armored form already beginning to glow with the buildup of devastating energies.

"Any last words?" Kai offered indifferently.

"W-Wait! Listen to me!" Giovanni blurted out, panic overtaking. "I'll tell you everything I know! Just...just don't kill me!"

Kai regarded him for a beat, and said, "Too late." Then turned and began walking away with impassive grace.

Giovanni screamed after him desperately, "You don't understand! They won't let this go unanswered! They'll hunt you down, torture you, kill you and your loved ones for doing this to me!"

Kai halted, his back still turned. For a long moment, he stayed silent and unmoving. Then, ever so slightly, his shoulders began to tremble as a sound rumbled forth.

Growing louder with each passing second, it built into full-throated laughter - harsh and maddened, the sound of something not quite sane given its visceral form.

Giovanni froze, rooted in place by the discordant peals of mirth. An aura of pure, unadulterated chaos radiated from Kai's slight form, nearly overwhelming in its intensity.

Then, as suddenly as it began, the laughter cut off. Kai turned slowly to face the cowering man once more, his expression settling back into its customary dispassionate mask. Yet his next words carried the unmistakable undercurrent of something...unbalanced.

"Sigh~, you know, I pretty much hate it when someone makes threats to me," he said, a hint of dark amusement tingeing his tone. "Believe me or not, attacking you was never personal. You were just in the way of my goals. So, I have to kill you... But, if you wish to make it so..."

"But, even then you couldn't defeat him," Kai stated, eying the both sweating members, "All of you need to train more. More harder."

"I can't believe, after all of the hard work, all of the time, money, and resources I spent on you, you guys are still so weak," Kai said, eyeing all of them, a frown playing across his face.
