Multiwalker Collab (End)

Multiwalker Collab (End)

Sam sighed in satisfaction at the results he had grinded a while ago. Not to mention gaining a couple items that would help him in the future.

Acquired:

Shattered Bones (21)

Crushed Bone Powder (19)

Zombie Flesh (31)

Minor Healing Potion (8)

Magic Book: Shattering Bones

Skill Book: Basic Necromancy

He reinforced his Halberd with [Grimm Bones], increasing its damage, durability and giving a Dark Affliction that would deal unholy damage.

Though this might be useless against the Grimm since they are ‘unholy’? He isn't too sure.

He didn't stop there. He also included his armor, giving it a slight increase on its defense.

Baby steps at the time.

He had more time before he would head back to rest and acquire more skills if it wasn't for the notification that popped up right on his face so suddenly.

Alert!

Incoming Boss Fight!

“The fuck?” He muttered confusingly as he dismissed the window and checked around his surroundings. There weren't any enemies around him on the minimap, so why is it saying there is a boss fight coming?

*Thud!*

He brandished his weapon out of reflex and surprise, turning around to see a very massive figure in front of him.

What appeared before him was a Viking. Or what appears to be one, but it certainly has some strikingly close similarities to one.

It seemed to be a berserker variant. Leather armor, armored pants, and a bear hat shadowing its eyes. It wielded a pole-arm just like him, and he managed to eye another weapon on its back. A greatsword with a blunted flat end.

"Hmmm... Newcomer…? Let's see how long you will last." The Viking spoke.

'Looks like this guy might have some phases...' He thought. The aura and atmosphere surrounding this figure felt like a dark souls kind of theme.

Doing a quick Observe, what he saw put him in disbelief…

He cannot possibly understand what he is seeing.

‘What the shit is this!?’ He screamed internally as he read the window screen. Even though Player’s Mind is keeping him calm, it wasn't able to keep the insanity of seeing a Death Quest!

“ID Escape!”

*Error: Cannot use skill*

“I’m afraid you cannot escape from this, lad.” He turned to the boss, who had its weapon lowered but to the point where it could still attack him at a moment's notice. “It seems that destiny was not on your side for living, boy.”

He froze. He has no absolute idea what to do now. He cannot escape from the Dungeon.

“Rid those useless thoughts out of your brain,” The viking said. “You might as well stand your ground until the very end of this.” It said sorrowfully.

Was this boss taking pity on him? Pity that he has to die?

“…”

. . .

‘This is almost too unfair.’ He grumbled as he looked at the boy in slight sadness. He can see the boy’s distraught and despair. Even when he looked calm, the grip on his weapon was enough for him to tell that he was panicking.

He didn't bring Misha with his as it would have been overkill. The boy could barely harm him in his current state. Comparing him to the boy, he would be the veteran whilst the boy being the rookie if it were back in YGGDRASIL.

‘Unfair this may seem, it is one of the only ways to regain balance. Lest the world plunge into chaos because there was an anomaly and risk time being disrupted.’ Gman said neutrally.

‘If you say so… Is there really no other way?’ He thought sadly.

‘Complicated and complex, long even to come up with a plan…’

‘Why can't we do it?’ Glared the viking.

‘…Will you be willing to wait for at least a millennium for the plan to work?’

Orm almost choked at the statement. Having to wait almost a thousand years for the alternate plan to work? What the heck? Can't he just speed up time and process?

‘Like I said, it is too complex for someone like you to know…’ The voice sighed.

“I’m not planning to die here.” The boy declared suddenly. “Not now, not ever! I’ll live through this fucked up event!”

‘It truly is a fucked up event… Though you wouldn't be able to live through it anyway…’ He grunted a reply before commanding his summoned wolves to attack the boy.

A pair of Black Wolves jumped from their hiding places, surprising the Gamer. But he was fast enough to react and killing them in a span of a second.

Orm was mildly impressed and slightly surprised. He wasn't expecting a low-level Gamer to be able to kill the summons, which were mid-level. Was he wrong on the estimations of him still being weak? Or was it the weapon he was holding able to deal damage for mid-levels?

Lots of questions, no time for answers.

*BOOM!*

Orm recoiled from something that pushed him back, an explosion of bright red light blinding him for a fraction of a second.

The viking blinked before growling. Just as the smoke dissipated, he saw the boy’s palm was pointing outstretched towards him. A faint trail of smoke emitting from his hand.

Orm glared at the boy, as if daring for him to do it again. The Gamer’s eyes glared with steel, but the trembling on his outstretched hand is enough to tell him the real deal.

“…You really do want it boy?” He growled as he brandished his weapon.

“I’m not going down without a fight! Come and get it!”

After that sudden declaration of determination, the Gamer ran off…

Honestly, he didn't expect such an action, but he shrugged and followed him. Although not fast enough to catch him easily. He wanted to see what the boy is planning to do, or what else he has on his sleeve.

‘Taking your time huh?’

‘A fighting chance is what he deserves. Whether the boy’s unfortunate luck of existing to be a threat to this world… Or as you say, the multiverse. I want him to die fighting, rather than doing nothing. Even when it is hopeless for him…’ He replied as he gave a command for his summons to chase him down. Wound him and harass him to the point where he should be able to pin him on the spot.

‘A warrior’s honor… Very well, I won't interfere. Just as long as you know what to do.’

‘Making yourself sound ominous…’ He commented before heading to the direction where the Gamer went. Grim exceptions molded around in his head.

‘That I did…’

. . .

Sam ran as fast as he could, healing himself at the same time.

His mind focused on trying to find a way out of this while making preparations on how to beat this event. The quest event gave him two options: Escape or Die.

Either the System was fucking with him, or he was just unlucky to encounter this event and pull some unfair dice roll on him.

He muttered a swear as his [Bloodlust Sense] activated. On the minimap he saw several red dots behind him, slowly gaining in on him.

He noticed and sensed one of the wolves getting a jump on him. He quick-draw his pistol and fired several shots accurately to its head. No blood, but it looked like he managed to stun it.

He is unable to land a kill shot as more wolves are gaining in on him, not to mention the viking Boss that he had a feeling is catching up to him.

The pair of wolves he killed gave him a surprisingly large amount of EXP, he leveled up twice as much!

He managed to pour half of the spare points on his STR, DEX, AGI, and some few on the LUCK.

He had a feeling it was because of that, he is on a Death Quest.

The running gave him some level ups on his passive stats. But he cared none of those as he was dead set on trying to find something to help him out!

He found himself in an open area and decided to just stand his ground. Running would do him no good as he would only get caught in the end, him exhausting his supplies and resources for it.

Better face the danger head on. Not to mention his weapon is best on open-areas rather than in a forest, restricting his capabilities.

With EXP boost leveling him much more than he expected, he held some confidence in himself.

It didn't take long for the wolves to catch up to him and surrounded him by dozens.

He used Observed on them and found out the reason why they gave so much EXP when he somehow managed to kill the pair of them.

They were level 28!

That was why his pistol was unable to even one-shot one of them even on the head! They were strong enough to resist his weapons! Or at least, his pistol!

The halberd is his strongest weapon he had at the moment, and with his stats increased with his spare points, he should be able to take them down with ease!

After a moment, four wolves decided to attack him. Two going from the sides, two front pouncing onto him.

“{Whirlwind Spin}!” He activated his skill and twirled his halberd, spinning at high speeds, cutting the wolves through easily. Ignoring the notifications, he fired his pistol at the incoming wolves.

It would slow them enough for him to attack them one by one.

He managed to kill half a dozen of them, swinging his weapon would have tire him if not for the unlimited stamina blessed by being a Gamer.

“You wish to fight until the end, boy?”

He turned towards the voice, the viking-looking boss. A frown can be seen on its face.

“…Can't we just talk this out?”

"I’m afraid we can't, boy. Now, stand and face your death. Running would just prolong your end.”

“Heh, what makes you sure of that?”

“…You weren't supposed to exist in this realm… This world.”

Sam looked at him confused. Questions popping up in his head.

“What do you mean?”

“You shouldn't have appeared in this world. You Gamer lot.” Sam’s eyes widened. “This world’s universe is claimed, not by your Benefactor, but by someone else. Death is the only way for you to disappear from this world, and fix the anomaly that threatens to crack this world.”

Sam stood still, his mind processing what he just heard, and what the boss brought his claims… How the hell does a boss know? Is this some kind of a fucked up event? Did the world see him as something like cancer and wanted to get rid of him? Was he transported into some kind of an alternate RWBY world?

Was he betrayed? Only to get killed again!?

FOR THE SECOND TIME!?

“Confusion, disbelief, anger, frustration… Many emotions are mixing around you.” The viking boss said. “I pity that you have to die under these circumstances… That I cannot allow you to let you live. Trapped within the unfortunate case, for the problem will disappear once you disappear.”

He leaped in front of him, brandishing his pole-ax before making his stance.

“It is better for you to die fighting—“

Skill Acquired!

[Blinding Rage]—

“YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH—!”

You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.

. . .

Orm was almost taken aback by how fast the boy moved and reacted. The Gamer closed distance so quickly that he almost failed to block in time.

He can understand the boy’s feelings. Given a chance to relive in a fantasy world with powers, just only to die again because you are a problem to it?

The Gamer pushed him back, the speed and power increased drastically compared to before. It was almost reminiscent. It was like fighting a berserker.

‘He has been quelled with [Blinding Rage]. I believe I do not need to explain what that is, do I?’

‘Thanks but shut up.’ He growled before bracing his legs, grabbed the offending weapon, and headbutted him.

The boy stumbled backwards, face bloodied and wincing in pain. But his eyes were still mad with rage.

“Come on then boy, show me what you got.”

His response was a battle cry of unshakable determination of rage.

The two clashed, they would appear to be dancing around with sticks. Deadly, dangerous pointy sticks.

It looked like a very epic and brutal version of ‘David and Goliath’ fight. Although it would be more appropriate to compare it from a Tribal Warrior against a Viking.

The two were in a locked-on close quarters fight. Orm’s regeneration is able to outpace the boy’s rushing attacks. That and he is too weak to deal any true damage to even break his regen.

It went on for almost 10 minutes, neither combatants were not even tired. The Gamer was immune to exhaustion, and Orm has so much stamina that he could last for days, months he feels like. It was almost endless.

‘Are you planning on killing him?’

‘Yes!’ He growled. ‘I wanted to play with this—‘

‘Have you forgotten that I can read your heart?’ Gman stated. ‘I know you dont want to kill the but, it is necessary… Killing him would sever the imbalance that is threatening to split this world and nearby realms around… I make sure to put a blockade spell to prevent any similar situations like this.’

‘…Ending this for the finale then.’ He thought soberly. He almost wanted to last this fight until he passed out. He didn't want to.

Not on this one. Not in this unfair fight for something so desperate. In an inescapable situation.

“Time to end this, boy.” He said sternly. He broke the stagnation, closing in upon the boy.

And then, he unleashed it.

“|Piercing The World|”

It would be overkill, but he needed to be sure that the boy would not survive this…

And that it is quick and painless.

His weapon pierced through the boy’s defenses, through the weapon he used to block, his resistance, body, and then through himself.

The boy looked in shock, for a good moment he looked down on his chest, seeing the hole in him. He raised his head and looked back at him.

Eyes of rage, shock, grief, madness, all emotions seen through his eyes were there.

And then his eyes became dull. He fell, motionless.

The last thoughts in the Gamer’s mind were:

‘I can’t die like this…’

The ‘fight’, if one could call it that, was won. Orm stood in victory silence. Looking down at his ‘opponent’ with respect for the hopeless one-sided torture.

Almost immediately, he heard glass cracking around him. He saw the reality around him tearing. He would have panicked if not for G-Man to inform him that everything is going to normal, and he shall be leaving from the Dungeon that the Gamer had created.

With the final cracks, the surroundings changed from the dazzling green forest to the permanent red-autumn theme forest.

Forever Fall. He has returned.

“You got him?”

Orm turned around to the familiar voice, seeing Lordez and Askad.

“Yes,” He nodded. “It was… pitiful.” He said grimly.

“Was he too weak for ya? Understandable.” Askad said casually as he shrugged. “Don’t worry about that, I might experience a stronger one next time.”

Orm gripped his fist tight so that his knuckles started to turn white before he loosen them.

“…I hope this won't be a task we’d do too often.” He growled as he walked away, dismissing his wolves as they vanished into smoke.

“…He sounds pissed.” Askad said discerningly. “Was it something that I said?”

“Killing the Gamer, the method of it, disgusted him.” G-Man said. Making the two flinch in surprise. Even though they had gotten used to it, hearing a sudden voice in their head still makes them jump. “From what I would understand from him, for the sake of his inner privacies, his morals made him hate himself for killing a helpless enemy.”

“Wait, so he was asking if it is mandatory to kill the Gamers if the world is imbalanced? Is that what you meant?” Askad inquired.

“Yes.”

“…Was there no other way?” Lordez questioned. Worried and concerned for the sake of his only friend in this world. He didn't want to make an enemy or a cracked line between his best friend.

“…There is. Killing the Gamers wouldn't actually kill them. Rather, they would just reincarnate back into the Gamer Subspace Hub and retry again. Although unable to get back in the same world they are killed in. Unless necessary circumstances require it.” Gman said calmly. Although there was a faint cheeky tone.

“Wait, so all this time… You could have said this to Orm about it! So that he wouldn't feel like shit!” Lordez exclaimed angrily.

“Then your friend would want to fight against them no matter how and what makes him. Constant wants to fight them endlessly. Fighting against an enemy that will potentially grow stronger than them, would you let your friend experience the consequences behind that?”

“…” Lordez looked away. He doesn't really get it, but in some aspect, he felt he did.

Orm was persistent in wanting to fight in battles. So to satisfy his battle lust. Wouldn't that be good for him? To vent out his desires on that?

“You can tell him about what I told you regarding killing Gamers… But that is for you to decide, whether he will react or not. It depends.”

“Why have me tell him?”

“Many reasons. But this was needed for him to understand… That he might do something that he might regret in the far future.”

Lordez processed the statement. It was vague and cryptic, but he tried not to understand it too much.

“I feel like you're just sadistic and wanted to get his… depressing reaction.” Askad gave his two cents.

“Maybe… Maybe not.” G-Man said neutrally.

‘Yeah you do.’ The two thought in unison.

“Anyways, let's go tell Orm about this. He might cheer up.” Lordez sighed as he went in the direction of his friend.

“You don't say, dude looked to be in a guilt-trip trance.” Askad said as he followed behind in suit.

. . .

Ozpin never thought that on a certain day, he would be nervous and concerned at the same time.

And that was him being a genius after being in this world for almost a thousand years.

The breach in Vale was thankfully mitigated by the forces of Lordez-sama. Casualties were at the minimum, destruction of property is able bodied. Although this led questions about the creatures in wonder and panic.

The reactions were mixed. Many were opposed, frightened and afraid — understandable — on defending the citizens. Theories and guesses brought up on the now-confirmed rumored ‘Vengeful Spirits’ as some new type of Grimm. But those theories were almost put out the suggestion board as it is impossible for Grimm to make even any friendly contact. Not such a thing happened ever once in history.

Other theories on what these creatures were are some kind of spirits killed and turned into Revenants, getting a second chance as a spirit of vengeance to kill the evil around Amina.

Not many were opposed to this idea, and thought to make some sense. As some supernatural ‘experts’ thought otherwise.

But there was an unanswered question on that part.

Why in these recent times, did the existence of the ‘Vengeful Spirits’ just come to be? For that, no one knows.

Currently, the Atlas fleet was hovering above the city as they held back any nearby Grimm creatures. Tensions were still high as another attack was possible, evidence proof as to what had happened recently.

He managed to convince Ironwood to not dare send out and find the ghosts, lest they provoked him badly. It did little to comfort him when the forces of the Supreme Being will not attack anyone. And are strictly ordered to only attack the Grimm and those who are deemed ‘wicked’.

Lordez’s forces were hidden from the eyes of everyone, like ghosts they vanished as if they never existed. No traces found, not even faintly. He doubts that Ironwood’s forces could even find a trace of them anyways.

On another note, Glynda had returned from Vale after sealing the holes inside the tunnels to absolutely make sure another Breach would not ever happen. It was also surprising — not to him anyways — to see the ghosts helping them by suppressing the Grimm from getting into the tunnels. But it was barely enough as the Grimm kept pouring in like water.

She was supported by volunteers to help push the Grimm back as she blocked the holes. She also reported that Orm had ‘sacrificed’ himself by getting most of the Grimm’s attention to him.

It was odd to hear and see reports about the heroic sacrifice of Orm, an unsuspecting Supreme Being that most of them have yet to know. He chuckled at the thought of the Supreme Beings to fall under the horde of such annoying pests. Weak and definitely non-threatening for his masters.

Although his current masters were weakened intentionally on purpose. He wondered why they would do that.

Was it to get ‘on the same level’ as the inhabitants of this world? Or was it part of the Lord of Nightmare’s scheme? Either way, he couldn't even dare to understand the depth of the Supreme Beings’ plan.

If they fought for real, Ozpin was certain he would lose without a doubt.

Suddenly, he noticed a {Gate} appearing in his office.

He calmly took a sip on his coffee before putting it aside just in time for Lordez and Orm, along with his bear partner to walk out of the {Gate}.

They were in their alias form, although there was blood stained on Orm’s clothes. He dreaded the thought that something must have gone wrong.

“Good evening, my lords.” He stood from his seat and bowed respectfully.

"Good evening, Ozpin.” Lordez greeted. Orm hummed a grunt of a reply. “I see you handled the troubles quite well.”

“Yes, there were reports and suspicions about your forces. Most are quite concerned that you may attack them. Ironwood was persistent in sending a search force to locate and… destroy them, but I managed to convince him not to.”

‘With some effort…’ He thought.

“I see… Good work.” The Lord of Nightmare nodded. “Once tensions around the city have been lessened, I’ll have my external forces move out afterwards. A few platoons worth of my summons will stay as a vigilant watch. Removing pests is what should be the key to maintaining cleanliness.”

If Ozpin was concerned about such a statement, he didn't show it.

“…My lord, if I may ask… Did something happen?” He inquired politely.

Lordez looked at him confused, taking a glance at his friend and noticed that the stained blood was still on him, he realized.

“Ah, we simply had a walkout. In fact, we had to get rid of someone… dangerous to this world.” He said grimly.

“I see…” Ozpin looked down with concern on his thoughts. If the Supreme Being stated that there was someone dangerous to this world… Were they a threat to them as well? “If I may ask again, who was it?”

Lordez waved his worry with a dismissal wave.

“No worries, it's none that you know about. He was dealt with immediately before the threat grew stronger.” He looked back at him. “But for now, is there anything else that we should be note?”

“Yes, it concerns Lord Orm.” He gestured politely at the viking, who was petting Misha with the bear pleased on his partner's gentle touch.

“Hm? Me?” Orm perked at his mention. “What about?”

“It's something like this…” Ozpin began telling them Glynda’s report. The two reacted amusingly, although Orm was somewhat a bit embarrassed upon hearing it.

“They thought he died?” Lordez laughed lightly. “I wonder how surprised they will be when they see him still living. But against a Grimm Horde, it is understandable why they thought of such.”

“Hah! They were more like a rabid pest horde. They are too weak.” The viking grunted, though a smile of amusement on his face.

More so, more so…

Lordez hummed. “Anything else, Ozpin?”

Ozpin decided to take a risk. He began telling them about the noted hunters-in-training teams that participated during Vale’s Breach. They’ve seen Lordez’s performance in the Breach. And it was reported that with his ‘Herald’ appearance was only known to few, reinforced by Ozpin to keep it secret among them lest panic arises. Only his summons are made public.

“I see…” Lordez frowned. It was not a problem in the current situation, but he felt it would become a nuisance later.

“Was the Breach necessary, my lord?”

Lordez glanced at him. He knows what he is thinking. “It is. It is to scare Salem and her pawns. It will no doubt cause disarray amongst the… Trainees, but the secret war you two have, Ozpin? It won't stay much of a secret for long.”

“…” Ozpin looked down in ponder.

“Will the Vytal Festival continue despite what has happened?”

“As it should,” Ozpin sighed lightly. “If it were to be canceled, it would incite weariness and panic.”

“Then preparations are to be made then. I know you wish to protect both Humanity and Faunus, Antonios.” The headmaster perked in attention. “But such things cannot be achieved without any cost… Not by a long shot.”

“We will discuss more of this soon.” Lordez cast a {Gate} and walked into it.

Orm and Misha didn't go into the {Gate}.

“Is there something you need, sir Orm?”

“Yes, about Glynda… Was she worried?” He inquired.

Ozpin hummed in amusement, having a feeling that he knew where this was going, he took a sip of his coffee. “Yes, she was even willing to go back to the tunnels and recover your body. She was quite worried.

The viking chuckled. “I guess she seems to have a crush on me. Never thought a woman like her would think such a thing… Or that's what I’ve heard about her.”

The headmaster grinned. It was a bit weird considering a Supreme Being is worried for a mortal’s thoughts. But he guessed it was something he cannot fully understand.

“Agreed.” He sipped on his coffee.

. . .

Earlier before they arrived in Ozpin’s Office. . .

The moment the two undead players informed their viking fellow about the real reason behind the killing of the Gamer, he was neither amused nor humored by it.

In all honesty, he was pissed by it.

Jokes as it may be, he didn't like doing such a thing.

But the thought of fighting strong opponents lessened his anger a bit.

Only a bit.

“—With the Gamer gone, the Cracks have resided from this world. There won't be any trouble now. At least for you. But seriously the cracks are quite annoying to deal with…” The voice muttered quietly in the last part.

“What do you mean by that?” Orm inquired, angrily.

“The Gamer Reincarnation. If a Gamer was killed before reaching the average potential, depending on the world circumstances they are in, would cause Admins to investigate.”

“Admins… Wait, so they are gonna investigate this world and what happened here?” Lordez said with concern. The two others almost pale at the realization.

“Yes,” Gman replied. “But there is no need to worry, I’ve already placed wards in this alt-world. It has already been claimed by me.”

“Wouldn't that cause conflict though?”

“No, the moment I’ve sent Askad here through this world, I’ve claimed it before anyone could. It was fortunate, if it were a minute late — in this world’s time — this would have been claimed and the Gamer, either a different one, will reincarnate back into this world…

The players let out a sigh of relief.

“But since the anomaly has been dealt with, it is simple to say that the job for Askad is done. Even if you have done nothing to hunt him down and have let someone else do it for him.”

“Ignoring that jab on that,” Askad began speaking.

“He had a point though.” Orm commented.

“—it's been fun with you guys.” Askad continued, ignoring his comment.

Just as he finished what he said, a golden portal appeared in front of them.

“Same with you man.” Lordez offered a hand, to which Askad shook it. Same goes to Orm.

“Hope you do well wherever you are going to be.”

Askad said his goodbyes before hopping into the portal, disappearing as he went in.

“Now, with him gone, I have something to tell you both.”

“Was this something that should be the two of us?”

“Yes, and it concerns your origin. Regarding of Players that have stayed online, up until the shut down of YGGDRASIL.”

The two Players widen their eyes in disbelief.

“…What?”

“About 109 Players have stayed until the end.”

“Hmmm, not too many.” Lordez noted. Compared to the average game-time, the game was filled with almost thousands. But the game was declining of active players, so it was understandable.

“No, but it includes your friends who stayed during the shutdown.”

“They are here?” Lordez replied, almost shocked and excited. Orm feeling the same.

“No,” Shutting their excitement down. “But I was getting to that point. It is all the members of your clan you were in. Including several in the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown. However, they are not in this world. Rather, on multiple occasions.”

“Oh… Well, at least they are alright.” Lordez was both expecting this and disappointed at the same time. But at least his old man is alive, he’ll punch that fucker the moment he sees him.

“Wait, what do you mean multiple?” Orm inquired.

“Lordez’s father, Khorne, Momonga, and several others are in the same world.”

“So the two of them together eh? Seems like our situation.”

“Indefinitely.” Gman said. “For your fellow clan-members: Apocalypse, is in a world, specifically in an isolated island that has been overwhelmed by demon-wannabes. That universe has gods too, with its world being created by the Egyptian God Ra.”

“World with 'demon-wannabes'? Huh sounds… weird.” Orm said unsurely.

“Probably more than that for the lack of a better term.” Lordez hummed.

“Is Apoc doing well?” Orm inquired.

“You need not to worry about him, there isn't much that can harm him… Not unless he grows careless.”

“Heh, Apoc being careless? Doubt that.” The viking scoffed.

“So do I, but possibilities are possibilities.”

“Eh, fair.”

“For your dark and religious friend, Dubstep24. Set in an anime world called “My Hero Academia”, or MHA for short. A world where almost 90% of the population is filled with people who have powers. Villains and Heroes exist in that world.”

“Huh, so it's like the Old World comics from the 21st century.”

“Similar.” Gman replied. “Your unhinged fellow, Destiny’s End. Is in a world similar to the one I mentioned, however, it will prove to be more of a threat.”

“How bad?”

“If your friend is not stupid enough to warrant attention of entities that can destroy worlds, then he is safe.”

Orm and Lordez looked at each other uneasily.

“And the dumbass gets into the worst kind of situation… Of course…” Lordez shook his head as Orm sighed tiredly.

“And your other friend, SoulXEater, cringe if I might be honest,” “Wait, what did you say?”

“Is in an unknown world yet to be transferred. He is still in the process of being in the world.”

“Huh, thought he’d be on it.”

“No one is on the world of Highschool DxD?” Orm inquired.

“None.”

“What made you think of that?”

“Dude,” The viking gave a deadpanned look at his friend. “We’re already in a world of what would be called ‘fiction’ almost a year ago. Why the fuck are you surprised by any of this now?”

“…Point.” Lordez sighed as he rubbed his head, trying to relieve himself of a non-existent headache.

“Aside from that, they’ll be facing challenges soon enough. Although it wouldn't be quite… Hmmm, how do I say this?”

“Huh, so even an omnipotent being can be lost in words?” Orm chuckled, Lordez grinning in amusement.

“Hush, little children.” “We aint children!” “Challenges would be like facing entities similar to Gamers, but are entirely different. They do not follow the concept of universal adept power most of the time. They are only limited to planet-sized capabilities.”

“”…””

“…I can assume that you two do not understand what I mean, do you?”

Lordez shook their heads. “No no, we get it. It's just that… It’d be similar to a World Enemy if you speak it like that.”

“Fighting any of them is suicide.” Orm narrowed his eyes, glaring downwards.

“Also, not to mention or anything, but how you based on the description was quite… I don’t know, unusual?”

“It could be. Maybe.” They could feel the smirk on that unseen cosmic god right now. “But until then, you can do whatever you want to do. I’ll inquire with you both after your task is done, Lordez.”

The two waited for a reply only to hear no more voice in their heads, signifying that the conversation was done.

“What task did he mean?” Orm raised a brow.

“On about killing Salem and dominate the world in a unification.” Lordez sighed, feeling the weight of the world bringing down on his shoulders once more. “There’s going to be a lot of things for me to check up on these…”

“Come mon, we got things to do.” Lordez said as he cast a {Gate}. “We’ll be dropping on Ozpin to check on him, afterwards I’ll be heading out back to the FOB on Vale, you’ll be sticking around Beacon for the meantime. Just inform me if you are planning to head out somewhere.”

“Likewise…”

. . .

Grimland Badlands. . .

Salem was… feeling indifferent.

Her ‘prodigy’ Cinder, informed what had happened in the city called Vale. Whatever plans that Cinder had to make the Grimm invade it, she cared none of it.

What she was focused on was the interference. It was not a simple kind but rather a… dark one.

‘King of Nightmares’… Was it the Brother God of Darkness? If so, why has he returned? And why now?

It was not possible. What is possible is that it could be some foolish being that declared himself a ‘King of Nightmares’… She would have scoffed at the idea, if not the possibility of the old world of Remnant remains.

But it was nothing she felt like before in both her cursed and uncursed lifetimes.

This power… No wonder she felt something strange filling around, before the faint aura vanished not too long ago… It was dark.

Darker than hers. As if this one was filled with maliciousness and evil beyond hers. Like it was filled with horrors.

She felt it rivaled her powers… Almost.

And even if it's not on par with her, they would benefit in finishing this non-ending conflict with her former-lover Ozpin…

She will have Cinder, and also maybe bring Watts to investigate this ‘Herald’ of the king. If she can bring them to her side, the better. If they refuse…

She will let them know that her title as the Queen of Grimm, is not just for show.
