Tristania, barren land often reffered to as hell
The seven figures who represented sins stood in a circle, with a candle burning between them. Tristania was dying, with all its resources depleted and being constantly oppressed by Nirv, the land of prosperity and freedom. They had been forced to call upon their leader, Lucifer.
"We are the Seven Symbols of Sins, and we call forth our God and leader, Lucifer. Rise from your centuries long sleep, our lord, for your descendants call upon you," Pride, their acting leader chanted.
"Awaken, our lord, for we call upon you. Rise and save us from our patheticness. Awaken," Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Sloth and Wrath chanted.
It started raining in Tristania, for the first time in centuries. In no time the drizzles turned into a thunderstorm and lightening and thunder decorated the dark sky. Deafening thunder could be heard coming from the sky.
There was no day and night in Tristania. There was always some light available coming from the huge lava lakes, but something had caused the light to stop, causing the atmosphere to become dark.
"He's here," Pride whispered. He could not see anything, but he could feel the divine presence.
"I allow you to pass, it's pretty dark here," a loud, commanding voice said.
In an instant, there was light everywhere, making the darkness disappear. The thunderstorm stopped and the sky became dark like it always was. A tall figure, wearing a long, black loin cloth was standing infront of them. His hair was long and his eyes were darker than black, making his muscular body look more intimidating. He looked around him, having a glance at the seven deadly sins.
"Bow down, infront of our creator, or you shall know his wrath," Pride whispered to his siblings. Even wrath could not stand against Lucifer's anger.
"You have grown wise, Pride. What else can I expect from my creations?" Lucifer said, a pinch of command still there in his voice.
"Thank you for your praise, my lord," Pride replied.
"I did not praise you, fool. What do you think, I don't know your motives? Sealing me away after I created you all, and then calling me when you have lost all your power, to save Tristania is its state of misery," Lucifer shouted.
"Don't loose your temper, my lord. We apologise for sealing you, but it was needed. You were planning to launch an attack on Nirv, even in your weakend state. If we had let you do what you wanted then you would've probably died," Greed whimpered, his body shaking up on the thought of facing Lucifer's wrath.
"You can't tell me what is right and what is wrong. I decide what I do with my life, and there's no way I will save your pathetic asses from father," Lucifer shouted in a louder voice.
"We have not called you for nothing, my lord. We can fulfill your desire of world domination if you cooperate with us," Lust said, trying to act as beautiful as she could, stroking her long hair.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
"You can't seduce me, my dear child, because I am the one who created your body," Lucifer said calmly, in contrast to his nature previously.
Lust was taken aback, regretting the stupidity she had done. Pride gave her a sharp look as he stood up to face Lucifer.
"What she said is not wrong, my lord. We have a plan to dominate Nirv, the land which has oppressed us since ages," he said.
Lucifer took a pause and then smiled.
"Tell me what you want me to do," he said, "and I shall decide what I want to do."
"We plan to take control over earth and then attack Nirv. They cannot counter a joint attack of two of the three realms," Envy said loudly, trying to make himself appear as appealing as the other sins.
"Hmph. What can those weaklings do against father? They cannot even stop the wars that occurred constantly on their realm," Lucifer said, in a voice that reflected superiority.
"They are not like they were a thousand years ago. They have evolved and have grown to be wise. They don't have wars now and most of the places there preach about peace. Though they still are as naive as they were before you were sealed off," Sloth said, breaking his silence. He was probably too lazy to speak.
"Ah! I forgot that I was sealed," Lucifer said, "So how will we dominate them?"
Pride grinned, "you know that very well, my lord."
"You want me to use 'that'? Will they even be able to survive the radiation?" He questioned.
What they were talking about was the Arrow of Acceptance, an arrow stolen from God himself, capable of killing off millions of men. It had a mind of its own and could decide what was the best course of action to get maximum results. That was not it's only greatness, as it could even decide who was capable of achieving something and who was not capable enough to survive. It killed men based on their capabilities and only the best of people could survive it's radiations.
"We dont need all of them, just the capable ones. The lesser they are, the easier it would be to control them," Gluttony said.
Lucifer seemed like he had decided something.
"Where is Scorpion?" He asked.
"Scorpion? Your bow? It's still where you left it, as no one has been able to lift it in a thousand years," Lust replied to his question.
"I see. So you are still as incapable as you were in the past," Lucifer taunted as he headed for the only solid building on the barren land, a small hut like structure.
It had a large circle made inside it and two candles were burning on each side. He kicked the ground in the circle, causing a large hole on the ground. A bow, larger than his own body was lying inside it. It was made up of a special metal, found only in Tristania which was heavy enough for no inferior creature to lift it.
Lucifer reached for it and lifted it with ease. He pulled the string of the bow back, causing his muscles to flex. An arrow appeared on the bow out of thin air. Its head was large, in contrast to normal arrows and its length was short.
In a smooth action the bow launched the arrow in the sky, from where it set on its trajectory to the earth. As it entered the earth's atmosphere, the atmosphere started heating up. It burnt up everything that tried to obstruct it's tragedy and hit the hard ground. The ground started shaking and the temperature rose up sharply. The air was filled with lights of various colours that it was radiating.
"Looks like it has reached its destination," Lucifer said, with his voice filled with satisfaction.
"What will you do now, Master?" Pride asked him.
"Who knows? Maybe I shall visit the earth to check out on them?" He replied, "what do they call us?"
"Umm. I don't know properly but I think they call Tristania as hell and Nirv as heaven," Pride answered, "apparently they think of us as the definition of pure evil."
Lucifer chuckled.
"You know, Pride? We are like darkness. It's speed is the same as light, but no one recognises it for this feat and only light gets all the praise. Nirv is a prosperous land just because it has got all the advantages and we are rotting here is just because they refused to recognise us," he said, as he disappeared into thin air.
