Chapter 3:
Kosmo and Stella
Visions of the New Goddess?
RECAP:
PREVIOUSLY ON Planet_0, the Elvish planet Naku Eden has been under attack and decimated by the Warmongers! The entire Elvish race disappeared before our very eyes once the emerald sky turned red. For the sake of the Ragnarök & Phantomlor realms, Lord Talidor and Goddess Warr-Za send their sons, the Source and Void Divinians; General God of War Xander with Prince Tott-Za and a crew to the planet in search of any survivors and weapons. Their StarGazer ship crashed on the now desolated world, and only Xander and Tott-Za survived. After giving their crew a pyre, including Xander’s lover Nia-Tuk, Xander and Tott were forced to survive under a hellish atmosphere, slaying zombies, and traveling to the capital to finish their scouting mission. Once they arrived at the capital, to their surprise they found no Gemmantium weapons or ore. The Source and the Void Divinians discovered that the Elves were unforthcoming, for they have been keeping secrets from the God of War and ultimately Lord Talidor. But the greatest secret of all was what Larz Vizer, the Chief Metallurgist and Alchemist, kept hidden in his vault beneath the building all this time. Xander manages to unlock the vault’s locking mechanism by using his newfound Source divinity power of electricity. The door flew open as the remaining electricity leftover and power Xander released upon the door and kept going into the vault. The God of War suddenly has a vision of a woman with bright yellow eyes!

MEANWHILE ON RAGNAROK...
In the vast halo city of Ragnor that surrounds the heart of the Gneox Court and Ragnarök kingdom, the personal servants of the mighty Lord Talidor and Goddess Warr-Za; Kosmo and Stella, specifically like to go to special pub during their time off work.
Lord Talidor wasted no time informing all his people about the massacre of Naku Eden, as well as their near immediate response sending the God of War and crew to the planet. "The Source and the Void Divinians Strike Back," referring to Xander and Tott-Za as their realms’ Prime Divinians; the saviors of Light and Dark declaring war against the Warmongers and the 7 Deadly Tribes of Hell.
Kosmo is a young demigod concealed in a black hood, covering his face with a golden owl mask, representing Phantomlor’s colors and as Warr-Za’s personal servant, and thus there’s Stella, a young woman wearing a white hood and silver owl mask, representing Ragnarök, personal servant of Lord Talidor.
Both originally natives of their respective dimensions, now under unity of the GX Court, or so that’s how it appears.
But now they need that drink more than ever. They are both riding the giant white wolf, Lord Talidor’s familiar, Jesse. But the gold and silver servants were abruptly stopped. A young teenage boy holding a sign screaming, “The end is nigh! The end is nigh! The end is nigh!”
Kosmo turns to Stella, “That boy couldn’t be much younger than Prince Tott-Za.”
The teenager is running towards their direction, but before he could pass them Kosmo stopped and grabbed his arm, “Aye, what gives kid?”
“Naku Eden is destroyed, and we are next! I... I..,” the boy muttered in terror, “I cannot just sit back and do nothing!”
“Well, there is no need to spread panic either,” Stella answered, “You should have more faith in your gods. The Source and Void Divinians responded as soon as they learned of the attack. No matter how difficult things get, always keep your head up.”
“You’re so dark, Stella,” Kosmo scoffed, letting go of the boy’s arm and leaning in, stretching his mouth with his thumbs making him smile.
“Are you sure you’re not from the Phantomlor dimension?”, Kosmo kiddingly asks Stella, “I prefer my saviors that smile.”
"Now I think you're the one scaring him," Stella replied.

Kosmo immediately released him after hearing a strange noise, a strange noise he’s only heard in his nightmares. But now he’s been having unexplained episodes that’s been happening more frequently. Kosmo has been trying to keep this to himself so nobody will start thinking he's crazy.
He looks up to Stella to confirm whether or not she heard the noise too, then stands back up and pats the boy on the back, giving him a wink, “You’re right to keep everyone informed. Just don’t go causing a ruckus, alright? That’s my job.”
The boy smiles, nods in agreement, and leaves.

They continue getting closer to the pub. But Kosmo stopped due to hearing the undescribed noise again. It is beginning to concern him.
Is it getting worse?
Stella turns back at Kosmo, “What is it?”
X
“Nothing…nothing at all…", says Kosmo, willfully ignoring the noise and flashing symbol in his mind.
They finally enter the pub; this was their favorite place. The Coin Fox is normally a pub where everyone inside would cheer the arrival of the royal servants. But this was not one of those days, not after the attack of the Warmongers.
“Giant mushroom steaks for our favorite royals,” the waiter proudly announced while placing their steaming plates before them.
“Oh,” Stella said worryingly, “You mustn’t worry about us. Not with everything that’s going on right now…”
Kosmo sitting on the other side of their table, looks at Stella as he is chugging his third beer, then slamming it down, “Speak for yourself! Well, if you insist…”
He grabs her mushroom steak.
Stella gives Kosmo a death stare.
“Hehe. What? You said you didn’t want it!”
“Hmph,” Stella sighed, shrugging off Kosmo’s rudeness. She pulls back her hood and takes off her silver owl mask and gently places it on the side of their table, revealing her beautiful blue eyes and blond hair. Kosmo was a little bit surprised she’s doing this because it goes against their tradition as the royal servants.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
“You’re really taking off your mask? Don’t let the Queen Goddess catch you doing that.”, Kosmo stated curiously and concerned.
“Lord Talidor said it was okay if I wanted to.”
“Well, isn’t that thoughtful of him...”
“Yes, the King God is a very good man,” Stella responded.
Kosmo touched his chin, pondering, “You really do love Lord Talidor don’t you?”
“Of course, I do,” Stella answered without hesitation, “I’m always giving him my faith.”
“It seems like you’re giving him a lot more than just your faith…,” Kosmo responded.
Stella froze, then stood up grabbing her mask and proceeded to leave the pub.
Kosmo quickly grabs her arm before she could flee.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he quickly apologized, gesturing for her to sit back down, “Please.”
She reluctantly agreed and sat back down.
“What I mean is… I speak from experience with,” Kosmo nervously looks around to see if anyone was listening in ear shot, “With the Queen Goddess.”
“Really?”, Stella asked with her eyes widened, she whispers, leaning in closer to him, “You and Warr-Za are…?”
“Geez, are all the people of Ragnarök this gullible? No, Stella, I hate and despise her with all my heart,” Kosmo concedes with a gripping fist, “But I have accepted it for what it is. It means nothing, because at the end of the day I am merely her pet, no different than their familiars we caretake. You and I both are. The only difference is your feelings for him keeps you from seeing the reality of the situation.”
“No, you’re wrong! It isn’t like that,” Stella exclaimed defensively.
“Oh, I’m sure he probably thinks he loves you too. But remember you and I never had a choice once we were summoned to be their royal servants. It is just a role that we must fulfill. We are their slaves, Stella. My bone head brothers Savage and Holy Knight Robin understand this, why can’t you?”
Stella looks away from him, sitting in silence as she is thinking about everything Kosmo is telling her.
He continues, “I’m just saying be careful. I do not want you having too much faith in your god. We could easily be replaced, and we still need to look out for ourselves too, am I right?”
“And you don’t believe they’re looking out for us?”, Stella asks.
Kosmo chuckles, laughing at such at such a notion, picks up the saltshaker, “No, I don’t. We are nothing but things to them to use, like salt on their mushroom steak.”
X
“It’s that damn noise again, you don’t hear it?!”, Kosmo asks.
“No. Hear what?”
His visions were worsening, Kosmo suddenly drops the saltshaker, spilling it all over their table. He falls on his side and lands on the floor. His gold owl mask cracked and split open.
Stella rushed down to help him, “Kosmo are you okay!?”
His eyes were solid white. But just a few seconds later they returned to his normal brown eyes. Kosmo quickly regained consciousness, but unable to rise to his feet at the moment, whatever is happening to him is draining his energy.
“I’m okay, I’m okay…just need another drink.”
“You need to stay here while I get your mask fixed or replaced. What the hell just happened?”
“I’ll explain everything later,” Kosmo answered, grabbing her hand, “Please don’t tell Warr-Za about this.”
Stella nods in agreement, helping him back up, “Okay you just wait here and take it easy. I will be right back.”
Roughly less than an hour later Stella returned to the Coin Fox pub. But Kosmo wasn’t there. In fact, the pub was pretty much empty, it was just her and the bartender.
“Hey, do you know where Kosmo went? I got him a new mask replacement?', Stella asked.
“Aye,” the bartender answered, “His brothers sensed something was wrong with him when he fell earlier. They talked about going to the ol’ Knowledge Valley.”
The Knowledge Valley is a rich and vast valley of countless apple trees close by. These trees originally came from Naku Eden. The apples are mystical, with magical healing properties, glowing red auras.
Exactly as the bartender said, they were at the front area of the Knowledge Valley. Stella walked through the entrance and already found Kosmo playfully sword fighting with one of his brothers. Upon closer inspection it presumably was his foster brother, he mentioned, the Holy Knight Robin.
His blue eyes were covered behind a robin bird mask. The Holy Knight has blond hair, wearing a green and purple outfit. His hero-shaped blade was forged by a red metal, perfectly opposite to Kosmo’s blue Gemmantium forged sword he was given from the GX Court.
Stella is reminded of her own weapons; the Gemmantium-laced blade daggers she has hidden underneath her hood on each side of her thighs. Like Kosmo’s sword as a royal servant, in case she needed them for protection.
Sparring with their red and blue blades at each other, violet electricity sparking amid the sword fight.
“Your new royal sword is quite impressive,” Holy Knight Robin complimenting Kosmo, pulling away and sheathing his red bladed sword made of Malantium, the Phantomlor equivalent to Gemmantium.
“Thanks,” Kosmo sheathing his blade too, “It appears giving you my old sword has done you some good, you’ve got quite the edge now!”
The Holy Knight turned looking at an apple tree a few trees down from where they stood, “I think Savage wants to talk to you.”
Kosmo looked over and saw Savage’s silhouette under the shade, leaning against their own personal apple tree. He tells Stella that he will be right back. Robin slightly nods to Stella as he passes by leaving the valley.
“Take care of him for me, okay?”, the Holy Knight says to Stella before leaving, "Savage and I are still trying to keep the peace in Ragnarök City. Ever since the people of Phantomlor moved in the city has been divided, too separate to be whole."
Stella nods her head in agreement.
Hiding underneath the shade, Savage bumps his elbow back against the tree. The apple tree shook causing an apple to fall right in his hand. He lifts his demon mask and takes a big bite off the glowing red fruit.
Kosmo leans on the other side of their apple tree, talking to Savage, “Hey brother…”
“How you doing mate?”, Savage responds.
Stella watched their tree from afar, wondering what they were talking about. Their conversation lasted for at least 5 minutes. Kosmo returned to Stella.
She gives him a replacement gold owl mask, “Don’t worry, Warr-Za doesn’t know. Lord Talidor didn’t want to concern her either and quickly prepared your new mask before she returned. He just told her you were feeling ill. Lord Talidor is a good man.”
“Thank you so much, Stella.”
“…and your brothers seem like good men too.”
“Yes. It’s too bad that will be my last sparring with Robin…I won’t even get to see Savage’s true power…not after the coming paradox…”
“Paradox?”
Kosmo continues, “It’s inevitable, and that’s okay, because I have faith now. The new Goddess shall ascend us to salvation. She will be there for us on the other side.”
Stella bluntly and confusingly responds, “Earlier today you were telling me I had too much faith in our gods and now you’re telling me you never had enough. Why now? When you fell, I saw your eyes turn white. What happened?”
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you...”
She tilts her head with a smile, “You would be surprised…”
“I will admit the Phantomlor and Ragnarök dimensions are more alike than we are different. But you must understand, Stella, Phantomlor is a cursed universe with a much darker edge than Ragnarök. All my life I have carried this burden of hate, anger and disgust in my heart. So much I believed there was no redemption for me, that I never deserved to give or receive love…or happiness. But that all changed after I was in the pub with you earlier; this past week I have had scrambled visions that I could never really make out before. I thought they were nightmares or hallucinations. However, now, the vision has been made clear, and ultimately everything will be okay…”
“What did you see, Kosmo?”
“The New Goddess; it was a premonition. After all the sacrifices and pain, we will have to endure, the New Goddess shall save us and protect us with her warm, loving embrace. She is Lord Talidor and Goddess Warr-Za’s future successor, for she wields both their scythes of Life and Death, fused together as a Life and Death scythe.”
“She has both of their scythes!?”, Stella asked in shock by his words, “That’s blasphemy, the only way they would ever give them up is over their cold, dead fingers.”
What Stella said was true, suggesting such things, even in jest, you would be punished for telling stories or false prophecies as Kosmo had just foretold.
Stella adds, “At least this mystery girl sounds like she’s on our side, so that’s good. But wait…what about this paradox you said that’s coming?”
Kosmo hesitates answering Stella but does anyway, “I don’t know how to explain this...but before my vision of the new Goddess, the GX Court and Ragnarök kingdom is destroyed on fire. But it’s not the Warmongers doing, this threat is something much greater than we could possibly imagine. Leading up to my full vision today, there has been a strange symbol that has kept repeating in my head repeatedly.”
He hands her a piece of paper with an intricate symbol shaped like an X.
Stella’s blue eyes opened wide in shock, “Kosmo, this symbol means Chaos.”

Your blood is red, my blood is green, like a dirty river! Miles away again, but I’m still in your head, in your head! I came back a different person, you came back the same! We touch our hands through the clouds again. Miles away. Your blood is red, my blood is green, like a dirty river.
