Cause those, are nanomachines so they can be controlled by a hive mind of Collectors to make unsuspecting reinforcement enter without any problem and trap them in there.

And worst of all this tech not originally from collectors but from the first planet they appeared at the beginning of the third champaign but Galactic Government didn't know cause they didn't tell them. After all, they have a strong independent government led by smart and brave leaders.

And when things finally hit the fan things were already too late.

I immediately took a step back and kicked open the door.

Then I saw scenery that looks like came straight out from an old war documentary I saw on tv's air smells of soil mixed with blood and powder, groud filled with countless unrecognizable copses along with deep trenches.

Above trenches stood over 2-meter tall robots that look like a mix between humans and reptiles.

Seems like they becoming even smarter and stronger from a previous time. Especially their appearance is completely different from their body that closer to the bug on the report.

I noticed six of them aiming their gun-shaped arms towards me. I think there are grunts one of the lowest-ranked units from Collector.

Oh, crap.

I immediately aimed a 15mm AP machine gun installed on my left hand and opened the fire. The kickback was quite heavy but thanks to my weight and augmented strength it was no problem.

After checking my weapon status I activated my booster towards the closest enemy force I can find. A few minutes later I finally saw a large group of local soldiers fighting against a few groups of Collectors made of seven grunts and one large armored thing with ahead looks like a large railgun.

I don't know what it is but I will know what it is when I kill it.
