In the year 2176, the medieval fantasy MMORPG Pixelgoria is one of the most popular games on an Earth preoccupied almost exclusively by its own thirst for entertainment. New to this is the player Wyvernus Goon, a minmaxing warrior of the gladiator class who had to find a new outlet for his roleplaying obsession due to some unfortunate business with the dev's of his last game and their inconsiderate banning of him. The story then follows his progression through the game's story elements and online community while the narrative does twin world-building duty as Pixelgoria and future Earth are both gradually revealed. The narrative goes into considerable depth in terms of Pixelgoria's game mechanics and UI design while also developing original in-game slang and future Earth dialect. As such it's recommended that readers open a separate tab to each chapter's glossary for easy reference back and forth (Said glossary can be found at the conclusion of a chapter or on my wordpress site as its own post)
