[Participant in the Royal Road writathon challenge] Pirate School is a contemporary tale about a reality television series where engineering students are given an opportunity to compete for fame and fortune in mock battles at sea. They are sailing on replicas of Spanish Galleons with modern bells and whistles that give the appearance on actual battles that use cannons with blank charges, automated sails and rigging, automated cannons that use an algorithm of the actual student's statistics and have real intrigue and action on the high seas. The action of this novel takes place during the summer semester as the production crew record the students as they battle the system, and each other to become the rulers of the sea. The first season starts and shows the evolution of the characters and crew. I hope you enjoy it.
