Getting back from the hospital, Eric entered back into his one room apartment. He monotonously turned to his room and sat on his desk where the three still opened computer screen lit the room. On it were several search tabs for Entropy Inc. and New Calistenia. But most of the tabs were heavily about Entropy Inc. and their subsidiaries. Like Entropy Technology, Entropy Health Care, Entropy Real Estates, and Entropy Banking. He stared at their logo, a capital E ontop of a enlarged lowercase i with a larger dot on the i. Bellow it was their motto.

'Entropy, an ending to all your problems'

Eric just stared at it feeling unbelieving. But mostly he kinda just wanted to cry. He died five years ago... well, technically he died in his past life. and floated as a spirit... or maybe a ghost? or an apparition? whatever happened to him that is. And as a whatever he was, he floated and watch the aftermath of his death. And o boy was those five years a doozie. Where should he start to recall? the start of the nightmare? to today...

As he recalled today's event, a chill went down his spine. Just like in his previous life. His good friend Joo visited today with a stranger, a stranger to him but apparently not. He said that the girl was a classmate of ours and a secret admirer from way back then, but didn't confess because of his sexual orientation. Eric was so surprise that he didn't notice Joo doing something to a drink he gave him. After he got over the shock he took a sip of the drink and became infatuated with her.

At the time, he just thought that maybe she was special. And so, with my friend wing manning we got together and did my absolute stupidest to please her. After that was honestly a harmonious relationship. Not until the release of New Calistenia that his friend and girlfriend showed their fangs. A epoch changing game released with the announcement of a new subsidiary of Entropy Inc. A collaboration with Entropy Tech and Gaming.

Good friend Joo asked him to quit his job, his hobby and everything to help in his rise to the gaming empire. With the help of his girlfriend's persuasion he acquiesced, and so he was built to be their explorer. Joo had some knowledge in the game as he had help from high places. He spun a web of power and promises. Some were true and false. But one thing was true. The future lies with Entropy.

But enough nay say, he was an explorer in a game with massive opportunities. And he gave it all to his friend and girlfriend. He toiled and practically worked himself to death and all for the two devil in his life. When what he found really matted, something that could shake the world. He found himself poisoned by another drink his devil friend gave him. At the time, he was clueless to why he would do that, and when he asked, the devil answer with a monologue.

Joo told him he was the son of a Government official, and a son of a massive Company trying to eat Entropy Inc. with the help of both his parents, they acquired a lot of information about the game and the company. From information regarding the classes and class promotion, treasures, and holdings to Entropy Inc.

And where did he come into play? why he of all people got targeted. It was because he was too lucky. Nope, not lucky that he was just picked from a random group of people. He was unusually lucky and they needed luck for their plan.

First part of the plan is they needed an easily manipulable person with the explorer class. Have him find alot of treasure and train his skill and gain a high enough proficiency for the next stage of the plan. Send the person to a place where an ancient walking fortress was. Gain something for there that they didn't know of. Once the explorer had it, use the Criminal Lord class skill plunder from said willing explorer and gain some holdings.

From there he died, but it seems like Joo didn't notice. Or did and didn't care cause he continued to monologue. The start of the plan was hunting him down. So a year ago he got together with him. They then needed him to be malleable, so they used a drug that his mom's company was experimenting with. A malicious addictive drug that sent a person intoxicated on ecstasy when smelling a specific smell. After that, have him find the ancient fortress where if they got what they wanted, then own holding to Entropy Inc.

After Joo exposition from there his face twisted in a nasty expression and kicked and punched his dead body and shouted obscenities and about how he ruined their plan. They were supposed to get something from him with the plunder skill and with it the holdings. They got the thing but not the holdings, and they figured that he was so slow with finding the item that Entorpy Inc. must have removed it from the game. That was so unreasonable of them! to blame him where he didn't really know anything and at least he did find the item.

Joo continued to explain to his dead body why he died. First, they already got what they wanted from him. Then he has also tested the drug and its effectiveness and now they know how to use it full scale, and lastly Joo hated him and his luck. So he was effectively of no use to them anymore. well, not really. The next step was the drug's kill switch, which he just used on him. Then gain a way to persecute other drug and flood the market with theirs.

You see, his father was in on it too. They planned to inject it to his competitors and the populous and rise to presidency. The plan was, and honestly he was feeling tiered of Joo's exposition so he was half paying attention to the next plans. Yup plans, so many that i thought my body was starting to rot from his exposition. Long exposition short. Drug the world rule the world... maybe? i honestly don't remember cause halfway through he fell asleep (i didn't know ghost can sleep too) He was just incredulous at that point, cause when he woke up he was finishing an exposition and continuing more exposition if not for his phone ringing and he had to leave.

There he was, a floating ghost that was sobered up from death through monologue. He didn't know what to do next but the decision was made when his pod issued a blaring warning sound and then came nurses that carried his body and autopsied. He kinda remembered part of the plan was for them to get the body autopsied by his mother's hospital. But he had changed his Healthcare provider a day before, and all medical and death related stuff was going to be through Entropy Inc.

So, already the next destroyed plan was set in play. Entropy got a whiff of something suspicious and like sharks smelling blood, pounced on his father and mother, revealed all their black material and destroyed this family of devils and everyone involved, taking hold of the government post his dad had and the company his mother raised. All that happened in just two days and he was surprised by the efficiency and power Entropy displayed and how they just grew more powerful, and now they have a post in the government.

He wanted to know more about Entropy but a conversation piqued his interest. His funeral was going to happen on the fourth day of his death, and Entropy was arranging a small funeral for him, which is extremely grateful for. He was curious at who would attend. He was an orphan and had no family so he was just expecting the director to visit but lo and behold my surprise little brother.

Poor thing was bawling and crying at the funeral. And before he knew it he was crying and hugging his little brother and trying to comfort him. He never knew just how glad and sad he was to have someone he called family. Maybe it wasn't just the drug that he was so trusting in the two devils.

After crying his heart out his little brother introduced himself to me. He said that he was also an orphan and had been looking for his brother but with no lead. How he knew that he had a brother was just his feeling which was crazy by the way, but it was true. And crazy thing was, they were eight years apart! crazy i tell ya! But anyway, Adrian continued and said that when he got free health care from Entropy they matched me as his brother.

I was surprised, then remembered that part of the form he completed was referenced for relatives and i just placed if i had any they can claim me. And so, when Adrian entered their system. He got a dead brother and his belongings. Adrian didn't want anything else but his brother but he obviously can't. We cried again and before we knew it we cried to the next day where a representative of Entropy gave him all his virtual property and the item he died for.

Adrian was then adopted by them and worried that something will happen to him he stayed and observed everything with scrutiny and five years passed by quickly. He lived in a loving home and family and he grew up to be strapping young man and a powerful player in the game. He was quite proud of his little brother.

When his little brother became an adult he said his farewell. And maybe it was his feelings acting up again. But when he said that, his brother stared crying again. So, with gentle patience he explained why he was leaving. And after his coaxing him he saw his little brother asked for a hug and with one last invisible hug he dissipated.
