"Werewolves will love only one person in their life, unending and unconditionally." This was a lesson Tasela was taught all his life by his tribe.  He had seen first hand the pain eternal love can cause if it's unrequited. It was not romantic, it was a curse. Tasela had evaded love all his life to not be doomed by it. That was, until he met the human woman that cried alone by the pond, who shone beautifully under the moonlight. The woman he fell in love with....his dear Luna. As Tasela gave love a second chance, he did not realize yet that this woman was already married to somebody else. 'Wolves mate for life' is a trope that we've all seen before. The male lead imprints on the female lead, their relationship develops, and they live happily ever after. It's a trope that's used to accentuate the romance, which is all good and dandy.
