It has been 10 months since the event known as the Cataclysm. Black spires rained down from the sky and pierced into the earth casting a blood red mist with no clear representation of day or night. these pillars have somehow given the creature who was closest to them as it hit abilities of various natures. these are known as Adepts, some simple folk who protect their area from anyone who may want to cause discord or steal supplies, others are tyrants who use their power to enslave anyone in their area and horde supplies for themselves. What most realize is the Adepts can't be more than a kilometre away from their pillar without dying. But what everyone fails to realize is that the pillars can be destroyed. My name is Brayden Mills, I am an Adept, I have destroyed my pillar and became stronger in doing so and i will use my powers to destroy every pillar i can to try and fix the world.
