The large eagle followed Amy even as she darted in random directions, willing herself to run faster in the vain hopes of escaping the hungry predator.
But Amy soon learned the harsh nature of magical animals, namely that they had magic.there was a burst of what seemed like lighting coming from the creatures feathers. Then she felt a burning pain in her shoulder as the large eagles talons dug into her flesh.
She screamed but even that did not stop her dead sprint, if anything it just made her move even faster. She barely dodged a tree as the eagle started to bite into her cheek illiciting another pained screech from Amy.
But she kept her mind focused on the task of running away. It wasn't that she couldn't feel the pain as evidenced by her screeches. Rather her mind was focused on the running and nothing else.
She was so focused she didn't notice the large man with the claymore charge at her. He was still bloody and barely recognizable as human.
He bellowed out a roar as he came to a halt just in front of Amy. Which was when, to her mounting horror, that he began swinging his claymore right at her shoulder were the eagle was still trying to bite chunks out of her.
The creature immediately left off her shoulder, flapping it's while it remained airborne.
"Duck!" The gaint of a man commanded Alice and it took her a few seconds to process what he had said but the larger man had realized that she wasn't going to comply.
So before she could react he kicked her, chasing her to tumble down as he swung the massive sword as if it weighed no more then a pebble.
The blade made a thunk sound as it embedded itself into the creatures flesh, this time it was it's turn to scream.
With a simple motion he swung the sword down while it was still embedded in the eagle, crushing it into the ground while digging deeper into it's flesh.
"Aleric, Matisa! She's over here." The man bellowed and soon Amy recognized the form of the priest she'd ran away from earlier. Now that she got a proper look at them all. Amy started to make out details.
The women whom she knew as the priest wore a flowing white robe adorned with drawings of strange animals and carried an expensive looking staff. She had brownish features and dark raven colored hair that flew gently in the wind.
Meanwhile the giant of a man, whom now had fresh blood to cover his already blood soaked body, wore no shirt but did wear a pair of trousers he offered Amy a savage grin.

Then out from the Forrest panting was a you boy who's entire hair was made of flowers, a detail easy to overlook while it was completely covered in blood making it seem like abnormaly red hair at first glance. He wore a simple tunic over green trousers.
"God.. you.. ran far!" The man said through heaved breaths. He had an accent that sounded English to Amy but just slightly too deep.
"Jobs done you lazy bastard" the larger man replied in a matter of fact voice.
"I'm not lazy. I'm just not a fan of running is all." The man with flowers for hair replied with a huff.
"Sounds like laziness to me" while they were bantering Amy was attempting to figure out her escape plan. These were strangers. But they weren't just normal strangers!
One of them had flowers for hair, the other was 9 feet tall, and the least scarry of the lot could cast freaking magic. But before she could bolt the gigantic man placed a strong but firm grip on her uninjured shoulder.
"None of that now. This forest is dangerous and there are things far worse then lightning beaks on this island." His voice had a gruffiness to it. It sounded like it came out of an old man instead of the probably 20 something he appeared to be.
"Um I don't have any money, All I have is medicine. But not the drug kind, you can't sell it... I think!" Amy squeaked out, very intimadated by the man who was able to effortlessly hold in her place so completely she couldn't even try to squirm.
"Medicine? Is that some kind of food?" The giant man asked with a strange disgruntled look. Amy wasn't able to piece out what it meant. Facial expressions had always been a hard point for her.
"I hope it has cheese!" Responded the flower haired man with some rising cheer at the thought.
Amy just felt confused. Fustrated. Tired. And hungry. All things she hated, one moment she was about to bundle under the blankets the next she was in a world with lightning birds that wanted to eat her.
"Stop your scaring the poor girl." The priest said, before kicking the giant man in the leg who let go of Amy with a surprised grunt.
Amy immediately started running or at least tried to.
[Relaxing heal wounds]
Then Amy felt a strange feeling. But this this one was good. It was like how she felt after taking a hot shower. She felt relaxed, not sleepy or drowsy just relaxed. The pain in her shoulder and cheek began to disapate. All felt right in the world.
"Okay, let's get you back to our camp. We have some roasted chicken and eggs if your hungry." The priest said as she motioned for the giant to grab and carry her.
The "camp" turned out to be more like a cabin made out flowers and vines. A fireplace stood outside it with a chicken hung by a stick as it slowly roasted over the fire.
Sitting by the fire was a small petite looking girl with gold blond hair and eyes that glowed with the same color. She wore an apron with some comfortable looking shorts on underneath. With a stained white shirt completing the outfit.
"Ah your back" the girl said, with an exact that sounded southern to Amy's ears. The girl eyed Amy and gave a hard stare at the priest before returning to the girl.
" I see we have a newcomer. Y'all actually have the gall to disappear for 3 days and then not warn me your bringing someone knew" she said with an iratated tone.
"Well, are you hungry?" The girls voice softened as she spoke to the girl.
Amy could only respond in one way.
"Yes, very" then she went back to enjoying the sensation of being relaxed.
