Today's the day!
Jack has had it.
Gg, wp, no re.
He was sick and tired of it. Time to call it quits while he was ahead. He has had it up til here, he tried, really he did! But he can't keep running on false optimism.
What was he done with you may ask?
Everything.
He had been holding back on the decision out of consideration for his family, namely his mom- his siblings were grown up and he was sure they could handle his decision in time.
Yet he just. Couldn't. Do. It. Anymore...
He was too tired, too weak to continue.
Today is the day he plans his suicide.
In hindsight, it didn't take that long to plan out. After all, he has been fantasizing about it for years now ever since he was a teen. A simple computer script in order to send timed email messages to his family during everyone's birthdays and holidays, a fake announcement that he had to move, some random business trips and greetings sporadically sprinkled in between for the next few years until he could slowly disappear from everyone's lives.
Not that he was much of a part of it now being increasing reclusive and antisocial as he was.

Everything was in place, but he didn't want to die on an empty stomach so he decided to take a late night walk to the local 7 eleven. It was a beautiful night out and the moon was bright and full. He didn't plan it, but it truly was a great night to say goodbye.
He couldn't quite decide what he wanted as his last meal, so he decided to splurge a little and got a bit of everything. Not like he had to watch his calorie intake anymore haha. Using the store's microwave he made himself some chicken ramen in a cup before heading out with a large bag of snacks and a hotdog in his other hand.
As he was cutting through the park taking in the scenery he saw an odd sight. It was near the middle of winter and yet on an old rusty bench was a girl in ripped jeans and an oversized hoodie curled up. His little nose was red as a tomato and her legs hugged close to her chest. She was awake and staring at him.
No, rather his hand and its content, the hotdog.
Even as he slowly walked he saw her eyes follow him. He wasn't a stranger to homeless people, and normally he wouldn't really talk to them besides giving them some money, but something prompted him to turn back.
Perhaps it was her young age, after all, children shouldn't have to sleep in parks
Perhaps he was feeling nosey, but if he didn't find out now, he never would considering he wasn't planning to see the morrow. Maybe he could do some good and get some karma points for the afterlife? Who knows.
And perhaps he was just lonely and wanted some company before the end.
Whatever it was that compelled him, he listened to it and plopped next to the girl, startling her as she had closed her eyes and tried to sleep after seeing him continue walking away previously.
"Sup,"
"H-huh?"
"Want some..?"
His peace offering of the hotdog seemed to have caught her attention. Seeing that he was serious and wasn't making fun of her, she prompted took it before all but swallowing it whole. A quietly muttered thank you was barely heard over the loud howl of the wind.
"Don't worry about it, I seemed to have brought far too many snacks, more than I know what to do with anyways. How about we share some and you tell me why you are sleeping in a park, deal?"
