Soldier Dragon

Soldier Dragon

Arseny, suffering the consequences of war, needed weapons to tip the scales in their favor. In 1720, the Arsenian government devised a way for humans to acquire the abilities of dragons through blood infusions. Thus, the Soldier Dragon Project was born. The experiments only produced soldiers enhanced in strength, vitality, and healing, not real dragons, but it was good enough. Because of the dire situation and intense national fervor, all experiments were done on willing participants, both human and dragon, and nothing illegal or unethical occurred. A lucky few merged with their dragon blood and could transform into stable humanoid dragons, though many became mindless monsters. The war whittled down their numbers and only a handful Soldier Dragons remained. In recent years, due to a lack of dragons, the high death rates, and a pause on the war, the experiments were discontinued.
