Synopsis
These logs follow an inventor/smith named Adrian as he loses everything. They are snippets of his life as recorded by Penny, a small robot he built to assist in the testing of his inventions. As the logs progress, Adrian further develops Penny, allowing it to record its surroundings with greater fidelity.
Penny does not think. Penny does not understand. Penny does not act except by command.
Penny records telemetry data from other inventions Adrian is testing (such as spinning tops, small flying machines, etc.) in the logs for diagnostic purposes. It precedes any notes with a '>' symbol.
Penny records words spoken near it as well. For registered users, it precedes their words with the first two letters of their name. Adrian is preceded by '(AD)'. Unregistered users are given the '?' symbol. This allows Adrian to take notes on the function of his inventions without using his hands.
These logs are the only remaining record of Adrian's activity. Hopefully they can tell us how it all got to this point.
