The Lunar surface, wreathed in the pitch black of night, held an unknown menace. An unmarked dropship emerged from the clouds and began its final descent to a deserted area of the terraformed lunar surface. A large compound with multiple buildings off in the distance lit the nearby sky, obscuring the brilliant stars. The angular features of the ship's hull stood in stark contrast to its spherical cockpit. It only measured twelve feet long and seven feet wide. Its hull was layered with a matte black coating and produced very little noise. It veered to the left as it encountered an air pocket and then corrected back to its original course.
Six men stood in the dropship drenched in darkness. They each grasped onto the mesh netting overhead. They jostled against each other and their slung weapons waved and clattered harmlessly with the movement of the ship. None of the men reacted to the turbulence except to adjust their grip on the net. There was a deep droning coming from the engines that drowned out all other sound. The men remained silent, their fast beating hearts unable to be heard. The ready light on the wall turned red and bathed all the men in a bloody hue. Their tactical helmets with face visors reflected the scarlet light and hid the faces underneath.

As the men felt the ship begin to slow down and prepare for its landing they all quickly looked over each other's equipment and then patted each other on the helmet when they were ready. The ship shuddered as it finally touched down on the ground. As soon as it came to rest the red light went out plunging the inside into darkness. Immediately the gate dropped and the six men sprinted out into the night like phantoms intent on the haunt.
